I have the same issue with this exact quest. I was supposed to talk to the Mayor. I did, and he directed me to the next part of the quest. I left his hut, and logged out. When I re-logged later, the quest directed me to his hut again. The entry to his hut is "green," indicating a current quest. I go inside, and my map shows a triangle with green (indicating a quest objective). Yet when I try to talk to him, I can't, because I ALREADY TALKED TO HIM BEFORE I LOGGED OFF. He just says something like: "good luck killing those guys." In other words, he already gave me the next part of the quest, but the game still thinks I need to talk to him. So I'm stuck. The mayor gave me the next objective, but the game doesn't realize it. So the game thinks I need to talk to the mayor, but the mayor thinks he already gave me the next objective (which he did). When I leave his hut, the hut does NOT turn "red" like it should, but it remains green. I have relogged and restarted the game, all to no effect. So I can't continue with my class quest. Because it is a class quest, I can't reset or abandon it. What gives?
