  1. The surge change affected every class, sage/sorc as well. You cannot say that one class is doing less damage and another is not, it's not logically possible. You don't think sorcs were stacking surge like everyone else? It was, and still likely is, the best secondary stat in the game.
  2. Shadows/Sins are also very gear dependent, so it probably has a lot to do with just general gear progression.
  3. There were worse balance issues in WoW, and Rift, AoC, DaoC, EQ... I could go on. It's really not as bad as people say.
  4. But other people have BM, and it makes my epeen seem small.
  5. No leap necessary to open, sages are generally stationary unless being attacked. Sorc stuns, you take it. He gets a free force lightning, maybe 5k damage tops. Stun's up, you force camo. There's no root on you at that point. Now you close gap with +movement. No whirlwind, you interrupt it. He knockbacks, you break it. Saber throw to pop shield stun. If it doesn't crit and pop shield you melee with Crippling Slash. Shield pops, 3 second stun but he's slowed. Even if he cleanses it that means you're out of stun before he has gained much distance, you leap. You're now in melee range with a Sorc wth no knockback, no stun, and no shield. If you can't win now, you're horrible. If you're going to apply perfect tactical knowledge, timing and awareness to the sage, you might as well apply it to the marauder.
  6. Seriously? You PLAY A MARAUDER and you're saying that's how you fight a sage? Oh, he stunned me. Let me sit here and take damage. Stuns up, let me run right at him. Let's not use leap or force camo. Now he's casting whirlwind, I won't interrupt that or anything. Stun break, what's that? You would have to literally be the worst PvP player in existence for that scenario to actually happen.
  7. You must be fighting the worst melee imaginable. So your argument is if a Sage uses all of his cooldowns perfectly and a melee DPS does nothing but chase you around like a brainless moron, than sages are OP.
  8. If the melee in your scenario is doing no damage and never in range, then it isn't 36 seconds, it's 12. And that's assuming the mez goes for the full 8 seconds.
  9. You clearly have no understanding of how resolve works.
  10. And a grand total of one of those CCs is a root/snare.
  11. Means your ball carrier was running around alone. You get objective points in Huttball by 1.) being next to your carrier or 2.) attacking their carrier.
  12. Mez = 8 seconds Stun = 4 seconds Shield Stun = 3 seconds KB = 5 seconds You = Bull*****ter
  13. I think that's the purpose of a forum, no?
  14. They can nerf TM when they nerf Undying Rage. That **** is bonkers.

    Imps

Nerf IMPS!! Remove them from the game. Republic should be free of their negative influences.
  17. Melee DPS get bent over a barrel in Ops. I think boss fights were designed with ranged DPS in mind. Not that Ops in this game are particularly hard, but I definitely feel the OPs pain. I love my Sentinel in PvP, but in PvE it just isn't fun. Would rather play Commando.
  18. They didn't nerf pure shockfrozen water, they fixed it. And that, along with surge, were easy fixes. Do you honestly expect them to be able to completely overhaul Ilum in 3 weeks, or go through thousands of lines of code to try and figure out how to fix the increased WZ group size bug? Those kinds of things take a considerable amount of time. If, at this point, you honestly don't think they are looking into both those issues and trying to fix them, you're delusional.
  19. Ironically enough, Marauders and Juggernauts are the classes I have the most trouble with in PvP. Marauders because they can seemingly gap close at will, their shield turn is insane, and they have a very quick interrupt, and juggernauts because of their massive health. Everything else I turn into shrapnel.
  20. I'm unaware of any dev statement on this matter, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not believe this is the case. A simple test, such as dueling a friend, will show you that your grav round damage goes up as you increase the -armor debuffs on a target. Therefore grav round damage is being affected by armor.
