  1. Yup. It lacks the "epicness". Little to no epic music. Wanna make a game successful? Add epic music to immerse the player into the game. It doesn't have to play ALL the time, but SWTOR is sorely lacking in this department. Little to no music score to add to the ambience; makes one lose interest pretty quick. Color. Everything is pretty much dull pastels. Makes for dull worlds/environment. I guess aliens are color-blind. People. Where are they? I go into spaceports/cities and they all look almost deserted. Little to no activity. Borrrrrrrinnnnnnng. So far, just about all the quests I've been on the mobs have been in groups of 3 or 4. Really? Enemies are always grouped together like this? Please.... That's the main reason why I haven't been back to the game in quite a while. Until they add/correct what I consider essential ambient elements, I will not be back. It's too dull. I hope this game succeeds, really. But right now it's not for me.
  2. Could someone help me up please? I just tripped over this dead horse, see, and...
  3. Yep....Tatooine was fun at first, but it got to be a little bit of a grind....but Alderaan is where it went south for me. I just love going on a mission where the mob I have to kill has 12,567,987 more hp than me and my companion combined. Even the most well-executed rotation won't get through that. Makes for one very sad Jedi. Wait....wait....if I get too sad, does that make me a good candidate for the Dark Side?
  4. I love reading the whine posts on how much it costs per month for the sub when the poster thinks nothing about visiting Starbucks every single day to buy a Venti Mocha-Vanilla-Raspberry Soy Cappucino with 2 shots of caramel, chocolate sprinkles and with low-fat whipped cream. "How much for the coffee?" "That'll be your inheritance please..."
  5. I hereby award the OP with the Medal Of Honorable Really Cool Dudes. Your service is much admired by a grateful player base.
  6. Ditto. A good, sensible post instead of whining and making false, brash assumptions...an excellent suggestion! Kudos!
  7. I have learned to be very incredulous. With all the hacks and botting going on in MMOs today, whenever a player comes on bragging how high a level they are, how many credits/gold they have, etc. I almost automatically think "How many bots do they have working for them at this given moment? Did you go to just one or several gold farming places to gain that wealth? How can you be so proud knowing you cheated your way to that position?" And I always feel sorry for them really...because, in the end, they only cheated themselves.
  8. Oh quit fussing, girl! Acessorize! Accessorize! A string of pearls, some nice evening gloves, black sheer stockings, some nice heels, etc. and you'll be right as rain!
  9. So....they'll be doing absolutely nothing for free every night? Hmmmmm..... Show me a MMO where no one complained about "lack of content" right after its release. You will ALWAYS have the epeen fanatics who want to brag that they were amongst the first to reach end-game. It makes them leet in the eyes of three or four people for around 2 minutes. They often are also the first to post and whine that they want more content and they want it yesterday. I feel sorry for them, really...can't slow down enough to actually enjoy a game.
  10. Then....why should you care at this point while you merrily move on to a different game? If I move to a new neighborhood, I don't circulate polls in the old neighborhood asking people what they think of the housing conditions there. I just.....leave.
  11. Hee-hee! I can't wait to see all the whiny posts in the GW2 forums...."I'm bored already!", "Need more content!" (4 days after it's release), "I'm not getting good FPS on my 8-year old laptop!", etc., etc. Wait and see.
