Youre contradicting yourself. Theyre not removing anything....except the ability to queue 8v8 warzones? Does that not count as "removing anything"? Then you tell the OP to read the blog post when the exact reason this post was created was bc 8v8 ranked is being removed? This post isnt about normal pug wz. So im playing a warzone, kickin butt and taking names....BAM! My power goes out. Now i get a 100% loss in rating? what? Im playing a warzone, kickin butt and taking names...BAM! My three year old wakes up from his nap and starts climbing on my head. He accidentally kicks the power button on my computer. Now i get a 100% loss in rating? Im playing a warzone, getting stomped and takin it up the ***, and my dog takes a dump on the carpet. Now i have to quit the wz (or go afk and get booted). Now i get a 100% loss in rating? Real life happens man. All three above examples have happened to me and shouldnt be punished to harshly. Id say 10% rating drop and a 15 min queue debuff. I also advocate a stat that records how many times youve quit a warzone. With matchmaking, it would ensure quitters all got put on the same team . How awesome would that be?

I like your ideas. Another cool thing to add for classes that wouldnt be hunting bounties (lightside jedi for example) would be a protection mission. Say you get a bounty put on your head. I can now go to the bounty board and sign up to protect you. This mission could be shared with others in order to form a sort of bodyguard group. It would be like obi wan and anakin protecting Padme from that assassin, and it would add a lot more flavor to the bounty contracts (not to mention initiating some open world pvp, which is always good).

Or...not use your force barrier, stand far away from the node like a good node guard and save your 3min cd god bubble for when you really need it.

I said "quickest run HE'S ever had." However, your run is still pretty awesome. I wish id have more of those instead of the run in with window lickers like i have been getting.

I actually get annoyed when tanks heal up out of combat lol (my main is a healer). Im not that jerk healer that aggros before the tank but i do like to run and gun, and unless its that damn dog pull in Cademimu, i love when tanks pull at a borderline out of control pace, forcing me to keep up. It brings a "we better finish this mission fast or people are gonna die" mentality to a FP instead of carefully and delibrately planning each trash pull like there is no sense of urgency. If tanks pull with less than full health i just consider it a challenge and heal away. Oh yah, my latest weird people story. Running some random FP and about ten minutes in, one of the DPS says, "you're a queer" and leaves. Myself and the other two in the group spent a few minutes wondering what we could have done to set him off, then 3 manned until right before the last boss, a dps queues into our group and gets probably the quickest FP run hes ever had.

What? Intentionally lower HP? Your points are extremely invalid. I get that you shouldnt be using high endurance enhancements, but according to your logic, if im at 34k health (i am) and i frequently float around 28k health (i do), then i should lower my HP down to 30k so i only have to do 2k of self healing. What sense does this make? The loss of willpower is going to handicap your heals. Sorry but im LOLing at this and i cant believe people would follow this advice. Go tell a nightmare geared healer that you wont take him bc his HP is too high.

I dont see this as an issue. What happens when im frustrated with the idiotic pugs causing me to lose warzones? I group. Seriously, take the matter into your own hands, suck it up and quit being a weakling. Wipe your tears, make some friends and go pvp.

Also, im on POT5. Sucky part is that i am going to have to grind for and stack rep items since im only a hero atm. I wont be able to show off my sweet mount for two weeks lol.

I have done Xeno 7 times so far, three on HM. Have seen it drop twice and i won the second roll. Maybe its just your bad luck, but i was surprised to see it drop twice and would think that something like this should be kept as rare as possible.

Just had my first real Brazil Force encounter. Lowby Hammer Station, my guildy healer and my tank self queue and get a Brazil Force sage healer. Eh, not the greatest way to start a FP, but we see how it goes. Within a few minutes its pretty obvious that this guy is not healing. He force armors himself and not me, and doesnt throw any heals my way on trash pulls. My guildy is saving my butt on the first few pulls and decides to tell the Brazilian not to worry about healing anymore. Got it, lets roll. On the next couple of pulls the sage annoys me be running in and force waving mobs all over the place immediately after i have them grouped on me. Its almost as if he doesnt realize that im the one theyre SUPPOSED to hit. I tell him not to, he complies. Awesome, lets keep going. On the next few pulls and bosses he busts out his sick lightsaber skills, gets in melee range and starts whacking away. My guildy and i were laughing in vent, but since the other three were carrying this dude and we werent wiping, we decided to let it go and enjoy the comedy show. On to the last boss... It is clear that our melee dps/heal sage does not know mechanics. Hits the boss when turrets are up (still using saber strike) so we dont down the turrets in time and boss aggros multiple sets of turrets. Luckily we overcome thid and survive. Finally, we down the boss and dont have to deal with this guys ineptitude... Just kidding. Theres more. A strength lightsaber drops and i rejoice, as i am the only knight in the group and am celebrating the upgrade in stats thats about to come my way until... The dude needs on the saber and wins it. Not only that, but when i asked him why he needed on it and to give it to me, he said "lol chill out.". Now that i have him, and any other brazil force member on ignore, i will chill out.

This thread is awesome. I dont think id be able to stop laughing if somebody asked me to stop healing them because they dont like the green stuff on their clothes. Anyway, on to my stories: Lost island HM. I queued with my fresh 50 gunslinger with a few columni/rakata pieces i had transferred from my sage. First thing I am told by the tank is that I dont have good enough gear to complete the fp. I assure him that I have run it plenty of times and as long as he does his job, we should be fine. He tells me various times that my gear is not good enough while we are speedering past all the trash to the first boss. We pull, and within ten seconds the tank is dead from standing in the yellow spit. I ask him *** and he replies "i forgot to repair my gear." Right. He initiates a vote to kick me, then doesnt respond as i ask him how it was my fault he wiped the group. Lost island HM again, this time im healing We get passed the droid despite sloppy play (nobody wanted to interrupt incinerate coupled with poor lightning placement). It was clear this group didnt exactly know the fights, so i explained how to kill savrak. When savrak prepared to do his smash, both of the dps were not stacking on the boss so i quicly typed "STACK!!". When the dps got launched off the platform, we /stucked and retried. Again i explained the fight but this time, one of the dps was slow to stack and the other still completely unaware. I typed "F*CKING STACK" just before watching the dps go flying off the platform. When we wiped yet again, a vote kick was initiated to boot...me!? Wth? The reason: too much talking, not enough healing. Man.... ,
