  1. NO, some classes have way too many advantages compared to others. Pvp needs more restrictions, stun immunity snare immunity...like that. Ilum needs world debuffs and buffs. So 20 imps v.s. 12 repubs is not totalaly unfair. Team teleport or shuttle for groups please. Cross server pvp and or the ability to switch. Galatic group finder please! I am not the only one who needs to do a certain mission, it just happens the people who need to do it also are on different planets. Mentor/Sidekick/Master system for playing with new toons at 50. High level 50 pve gear for single player. Flashpoint loot is random. ... Dang if this was not Bioware and Star Wars I would quit.
  2. my 50 gunslinger can take 1 anytime of the day if it was not for the stuns. with the resolve bar broken they can extend the fight until it is disadvantageous for me. they don't have high health at all but have a lot of good debuffs and dot's. not impossible.
  3. What is the smuggler advantage? Damage per second? Every class can dps and in pvp it actually shows your damage per second, and other classes can match or exceed our ouptut when you include gear. Debuffs? my gunslinger has 1 armor reducing power. I got the grenade that lowers accuracy by 45%. That is awesome, but it does not last that long and the cooldown is long. Damage over time? Do not know about the trooper classes but a jedi sage has a good amount of those and I think the jedi sentinel does too. Defense? Hell NO! Scoundrel has stealth, but can't capitalize on it the like the way I have seen that imperial agent class use it. The sith assassin as well. Scoundrel has healing but from my experience most people role jedi sage for healing. Gunslinger has the cover system, clunky and is needed for damage output. Too easy to knock a Gunslinger out of it too, in pvp and pve. It has a defense buff and a cover bonus, but the cover advantage does not happen that often. Considering that other classes just simply carry a personal shield. Yes I love my 50 gunslinger but when I team with other classes and go against the imps in pvp, I think "wow look at the move that class have". So what is the smuggler advantage that makes us special. What can we do that no one else can and is useful.
  4. resolve should be fixed before they start nerfing classes.
  5. Actually I look at Champions Online which never had these kind of subscriber numbers and was almost broken at launch. It took them over to year to fix some stuff and add new features and the game is still going strong. Swtor will be alright, you can count on me to still be logging in.
  6. Why is that on the first page? I ran tython and coruscant and was already over rank 2 with a partner.
  7. Ahhh i actually like pvp now that the 50 pvp geared guys got their own bracket, it is good thing I take my time with mmo's.
  8. HEH EVER PLAY GUILD WARS, you can solo the entire game like I did.... and the game is called GUILD wars. Depends on the people playing, if everyone rather solo then why take away their freedom.
  9. ...WOW is not the only mmo to have a arena, so I am not basing my opinion off that game. I do not like WOW. reasons why a arena would be good in my IMO 1. Strong Guilds can play there and not gang bang soloists in warzones. Me and my fiance play together and we build other characters to play off each other. We have a strong advantage over random teams in warzones. 2. A new way to get valor and pvp gear is always great. Hell make pvp arena gear to add more content to the game. More options to get top gear does not hurt no one. Balance out he gear with all high level end gear content, and no one can complain(someone always complains now that I think about it.) 3. Spectator mode would be cool, so would a weekly leaderboard, more reasons to play the game after you hit 50.
  10. who says they do not listen? I have been a BIOWARE fan since '04, they always do Q and A's and respond to fans. They just don't seem to have a employee that responds to individuals in the forums.
  11. I got to admit it, I agree with you. Raiding is one of the reason I could not get into WOW. Coh had a few but I did it for fun, not for gear. I have other mmo's for years now and they all do not have that raid aspect like WOW does. I like the story and pvp of this game, the crafting is superb too, therefore I DO NOT PLAN ON RUNNING OPERATIONS. I feel the same way about some of the flashpoints, they take up too much time and feels like a grind only for a CHANCE at a rare drop I need. I rather run HEROICS, shorter and the team constantly gets greens and blues. Turn the mission in to get a orange in some cases. Just my opinion.
  12. /SIGNED ... I actually like bioware games, played mass effect over 10 times, Dragon Age over 4 times, Mass Effect 2 over 6 times, Dragon Age 2 over 3 times and Kotor somewhere in the high teens. I play Kotor like twice every year since its release. So yeah I will go back and roll new toons, and reroll the same class so I can use a different advanced class. Bioware baby, you have to play light and dark to get the full story.
  13. .... I do not mind paying to change servers....
