Hey everyone. I have lvl 44 Sentinel and 44 Marauder on different servers, but I want to transfer here. To be honest, I want to pvp and from reading, it seems like this is the only place to find consistent pvp. What I want to ask you guys, and please give me honest opinions, I am mostly curious about solo ranked queue times for now. How are they on both sides, like 3-5 minute pop? I am looking to play after around 11 pm server time. I don't really care if one side wins more or less, though I am leaning more towards Republic side. Kinda partial to Jedi lol. Thanks in advance

Hello all, I got this game about a month ago and i kind of need a guidance, and some opinions of others. First, i started as SW, marauder, because i liked the whole Dark Side concept, but playing it, i couldnt stand all those killings, brutality of the story. Then i wanted to see how JK is, and now both my marauder and sentinel are 21. I love JK story much better overall, because since star wars Galaxies where i was Light Side Jedi, i began to love light side. I am a lore freak lol. My rant about Jedi is that even though i love their story i absolutely hate their armor at 50. I know that i can modify lower level orange gear and swap out mods, but it is so sad that they destroy one's willingness to play a class due to endgame looks. Also, there is the big butt issue, which has been all over, and not fixed. On SW side, i love their looks, armor, especially pvp BM gear, it makes them look awesome, but i camt stand the story, the "evilness" if thats a word lol. Plus, we all know that the Empire gets destroyed within next 50 or so years, that is, if you follow the lore. So, im not asking you guys to tell me what to play, but what did you guys enjoy the most out of each, and why do you play them?

I acquired a orange chest piece with a hood, which i love, not on game atm, so cant remember the name, but it doesnt matter My question is, since i absolutely hate JK pvp gear but love the class, is there a possible way to make that chest piece as good as BM chest piece, if i rip those mods out, and last is there an armoring modification that would bring it up to that level?

All of you complain about Warrior armor, just go look at Jedi knights.... Now thats attrocious. I for one, love sith warrior armor, and especially without the helmet, with the hood on, it looks mean and dark

Greetings everyone, I must say that i have been impressed by Consular forums. I have been trying to decide which class to roll for some time now. I tried Marauder, Sentinel, and now a Shadow. Before i delve into the class, and i'm a one character guy, as i dont like alts, i really had a hard time deciding which one to go. I browsed all three forums, heard a lot of bashing on Sentinel and Mara forums, i guess mostly immature kids, but these forums all i read was that if someone has a question or a problem, people are actually trying to help. Point to this is that after weeks of trying to figure out what class to be, i decided to keep my Shadow as main, first because it seems very fun, snd most importantly because of this community, as i have a feeling that if i have a question that i will actually get a lot of help instead of L2P or you are just bad replies. I guess its a thank you all thread, and hope we get more fun discussions going on

I am a low level, so I haven't pvped yet, but in leveling I don't hardly take any damage in combat technique, even with pulling aggro off of Qyzen, I heal a lot with the proc, almost every 2nd attack, so I always end up with about 95% health left, I like it.

Ok so as a kinetic spec, what technique do you guys use then? Combat technique looks really nice to me, but 5% damage penalty kinda sux. So which one would be the best for pvp?

Id like to know on this too, if we are going to be able to mod any piece of pvp and pve gear( lvl 50 of course) so we dont have to look like Lich Kings

Yeah i dont care how rest of the gear looks like since with the robe i can cover the head when i hide the head piece. Thats encouraging, thanks

I believe that the reason Knight have that PvP helm is because they will secretly Make Geonosis Planet, and so that we can blend in with rest of the bugs out there, or they might incorporate Bees as a new race.... Something along those lines. The only reason i stopped leveling knight was after i saw pvp gear, now it just confirms it for me. I love knight story, i wanted to be a good guy for once in a game, i was Dark Jedi in Swg, but i cant stand seeing my character looking like this. Question though. Is it possible to mod lvl 40 pvp chest piece( the one with hood) to be up to par on stats with the best pvp gear available?

Ok, i am only level 16 Marauder, and i have played mmos since star wars galaxies, then wow, now this game. What i was amazed with that every class or profession i played, there were at least 5-10 abilities that i would just never ever use, regardless of a situation. That always made me feel like those abilities were put in to make up empty space. This is the first class ever, and i mean ever that at this low level i have to use pretty much every ability that i have in order to succeed. What is so wrong with that i simply dont understand all this moaning on the forums, how we have to do more than other classes. I tell you all now that this is the only class in history of mmos that is complete, even though marauders can only dps, and i just wish they made all classes like this, more complicated than whiners like it to be. I mean whats the point of a talent or ability if ur never going to use it? Just my 3 cents

After reading this whole thread, i must say this is very funny. First of all i hate comparing wow to this game, but in this case ill have to. Take Warriors in wow.... Exactly the same thing, they level slowly, they are sooo gear dependant, they can barely solo elites, and too much downtime between fight... Not gonna repeat about sentinels... You all know what its like.... Conclusion, both classes are gear dependant, but once they are geared, they wreak havoc. I played warrior till lvl 80, their only cc was Mortal Strike, 50% reduced healing, kick, and harmstring, 1 fear, 1 disorient, and thats it....no stuns, and always called an op class... Please stop whining about sentinels, they are fine, once ur geared ull do ok. Personally i dont have 50 sentinel, but my friend does, and im leveling one and i love it.
