  1. As it pertains to expertise: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=398181
  2. Nope, it doesn't. And to say that the only reason is so that people can sell their DNA is idiotic. In fact, the only reason not to is to create an artificially inflated market so you people can make more in game credits. In the end, bringing the vendor back makes sense because it doesn't continue the event, but allows people to make use of the samples they have already earned. I don't care if you bring back the vendor and make everything bind on pick-up that is purchased and make the samples bound to account/character. I just want to be able to buy the stuff that I earned. Additionally, they didn't put an in-game notification in, which they could have seeing as they had the same broadcast repeating and it is standard practice to leave event vendors, not the event, present for a few days after the event ends.
  3. For those of you wanting Jeelvic (the event vendor) back, please sign the petition. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=4125041#post4125041
  4. You mean only 1% of the people out there want to make a profit selling rare items so they try to crap all over anyone else because they're selfish? I like making up statistics, too. As I said, move on. This thread isn't intended for people like you - start your own thread if you are that focused on being a jerk.
  5. Two things: For those people coming here and saying the event is over!!! Learn to read!!! Do you not miss the hypocrisy? This is a thread called "Petition to bring back Jeelvic the Jawa Merchant". Not "Petition to prevent the return of Jeelvic". Don't agree with the petition? Don't post. As for your common sense rambling, no, it's not common sense that the Vendor disappears. As has been posted NUMEROUS times, it's a common practice for MMOs to leave the event vendor around for a couple of days so people can still use what was earned. To be clear, what is being requested is not the ability to earn more of the event currency, but to be able to spend what has already been earned.
  6. Yeah, if you quantify the amount of time you spent, yes, there was a fairly large investment. Like others have said, it's more common to leave event vendors for a day or two after an event ends than to just remove it. But, 15 year olds in the summer time do have a lot of time...
  7. /Signed. I understand what people are saying about MMO's and just how special these items are. However, it's very common to keep the vendors around after the event ends so people can spend what they've earned. Yes, I am sitting on enough to buy my second crystal and invested a fair amount of time getting the samples. I know there are a lot of people who want the items they bought to be even more rare/unique, but this is just crappy. Like I said, I understand the event has to end, but at least leave the vendor up so people can use the items they earned. the people who worked to get those items are pretty dedicated players, so kicking them in the shins doesn't make sense.
  8. This is really upsetting - I mean for people who dedicated the time, just give them a few days to turn in their samples. That's only right.
  9. Seriously, I *********** logged out last night - I have 84 dna samples, and now they're useless. They should at least leave the vendor up for a little while longer. I just need to turn in for my second crystal. I mean, come on. This is a bit of ********. I understand that you had a cool event, but we should at least be able to turn in for a few days after the event ends. Come on, this is one of the reasons I was hanging on.
  10. *Sniff! But, but, I can't play and I want to play NAO!!!! BW offered a free day, and contrary to popular belief, explained why they needed an extended maintenance. **** happens, get over it.
  11. Sweet video, man! That Alderaan battle against 5 enemies in a row was epic!!!
