  1. I was 3rd BM and 1st War Hero on my server Pre- 1.1 patch - I pvp'ed my *** off and was good at it. I unsubbed and uninstalled - I think I have only a few days left on it. Warzoning was OK. But Ilum and what is has become is ridiculous. I consider myself a very hardcore PvP'er and this game is def. not worth playing atm.

  3. nah~ Ilum bugs me - farming and win trading are not things I want to do. I was on the road to getting server 1st Elite Warlord until Ilum changes made it a joke. Be back (possibly) when its fixed.
  4. OWPVP is a myth. Impossible to balance it and maintain a healthy and even population. It's just Reb's waiting in their base, group up, roll the Imp's for about 15 min. until they are pushed back into their base by a group x3 larger. Even if you constructed things like objectives or w/e the population imbalance is still a factor that will always make it un-enjoyable. Blizz realized this with WG and made TB in response. Ilum is basically going to change very little until they just straight up make a new planet with a 40v40 queue and objectives. - large enough to make people think its actual world PVP, but still structured enough that nobody has an unfair # of players.
  5. i love the internet chances are you and especially 27 of your "guild-mates" will still be playing next month lawl BW doesn't care about threats dude. They still get a paycheck from you when you decide to reactivate .. then cancel.. and do so every other day
  6. Uhmmm.. most of the features of WoW you described were NOT in the game until years later... just sayin' SW:tOR has been out for 5 weeks.

  8. side question: you goto the gym only to cancel any benefit from it by eating steaks and drinking a $*** load? I dont see the logic.
  9. I might not get 5k crits anymore, but hidden strike doesn't give full resolve. 5.5 sec stun duration instead of 3. I can't wait for the tears to flow. In that time I can kill almost anything next to a tank or sorc.
  10. As a rank 75 Valor player of concealment Ops with all but 1 piece of BM gear: The burst is big. Probably too big when going against certain classes. I've hit for 8.6k before the bracket changes. Anyone in Medium or lower armor does take a lot of damage. I can go 1/2 way with all the sub 50's who haven't seen full geared 50 premades and I will agree some changes were needed, but their proposed changes are a bit too severe. As posted by someone earlier, if a person is good enough or has the support to survive the opening burst, Ops aren't that great. We have very little utility outside the 5-10m range. IMO Bioware really needs to wait for more people to gear up and realize this. I'll take the 20% nerf for hidden strike or 1.5 sec. reduction on stun, but both AND the acid blade nerf is going to completely illegitimize the concealment tree.
  11. I don't agree - I played against premades with very good gear and smart players. It is VERY difficult even with my gear and ability to completely dominate a Sorc/Sage if they spec correctly. Ofc Tanks are the same. The issue is more psychological. People hate being out of character control. Being stunned and unable to fight back makes them upset. Not having clear sight of a target before they attack. This can be countered by smart builds and teamwork. I really don't see end-game competative PVP being dominated by Ops. I really don't.
  12. Well that is the nature of MMO PVP. Unnecessarily nerfing a class because of community pressure. Next month it will be the sages/sorcs When will the madness end.
  13. Meh, give it 2 months when everyone is valor 70 and it will be the Ops on this forum QQing about every other class
  14. tell your sage friend to get 12 points in the middle tree to blind the Op out of hidden strike. That AoE heal is for PVE and doesn't belong in WZ's. All OP effective damage is out of stealth. When you negate that, they are hardly a problem.
  15. I'm not suggesting brackets, but you need to realize Ops aren't OP when up against equally geared 50's of other classes. 99% of the QQ is from sub 50's with zero expertise. EDIT: It might of seemed like I want brackets, but It was more implied. I'll say - More of a need for brackets then to nerf the Operatives. <-- that version might sound better
