they're not adaptive and are class restricted so they're fairly useless as legacy gear unless you have multiple of the same advanced class i guess.

well when the choice is fail often and use the crappy companion or succeed and use the much more powerful companion its not really much of an option. I want to be able to succeed regardless of which companion I want to use. Why should Treek be so much better that I have to gimp myself if I don't want to use it?

Hk is very strong now with the new 186 rating droid armor.

So on my gunslinger I would really like to be able to use Bowdaar. He's awesome looking. he has cool roars and I have him geared out in 186 armor so he should be pretty strong right? Wrong, he's awful. He can't even tank lvl 55 champions on oricon for more than 30 seconds before dying, even with me using scrambling field and diversion. Treek on the other hand is better in every single way. On my guardian with my decked out treek I can solo almost anything. Once Treek gets low I just put her in heal mode and watch as she heals herself up to 100%. To the devs: are there any plans whatsoever to update the original 5 companion archetypes to be relevant to 3.0 content? PS you forgot to give bowdaar a sword and shield in your fancy new companion weapon and offhand sets.

The issue isn't that people on pvp servers hate pvp, it's that people hate getting ganked by giant freaking groups of 20-30 while they load in, and then get camped at the med center so they can't even leave. I dont know what universe you live in, but on Pot5 there is no way you're pulling together a 30 man pub group to go do pointless pvp in a quest node.

It'd be really nice to see some Dev confirmation that this is going to change. as is it is not okay and is incredibly obnoxious. Not only does it spit in the face of the story it makes it very difficult to turn in quests and even just get off the stupid planet.

Here's a bit of math. It takes 762 accuracy rating to get a lvl 60 character with 1% companion acc to 100.04 accuracy At level 55 pre 3.0 it took 440 rating with 1% companion and 3% skill tree acc to reach 100.xx accuracy. 440/4% = (110 acc. rating) / ( acc. %) 762/9% = (84.66 rating)/(acc. %) So yes, i guess technically you are getting more % per rating, but the way the devs made it sound, you weren't going to have to stack accuracy on an extra 3 enhancements to get back that 3% they were just taking away. I was hoping to play around with alacrity but at 66% surge I dare not drop it any further.

your ping isnt the issue. the servers are the issue. It'll smooth out over a week or two. All things considered the lag has been acceptable, I havent gotten booted yet because of it, or had a skill fail to go off. It can be frustrating But I just keep on going with my rotation as if the abilities have already gone off and 9/10 the server will catch up to me and I won't miss much damage/healing etc.

Im pretty sure the Devs either didn't do it right or they straight up are lying about accuracy rating giving more accuracy now. It took 762 rating to hit 100.04% at 186 thats a whole 3/10 enhancement slots without accuracy + 2 accuracy augments.

Most people did forged alliances like 3 months ago and couldn't do the prequel...

Nobody is going to drop biochem completely. With how absurdly easy it is to get grade 11 bioanalysis mats everyone will just make their own. The only limited is the stupid implant white pieces which for some reason only have 1 mission and is only moderate chance..
