Welcome to the wonderful world of MMO gaming. If you are unfamiliar with the genre, then you may very well know that MMO's are much like having a job that you enjoy. They require a great investment of time and effort to achieve the best results, often taking months or in some cases years to completely gear out one character. Knowing such information, Star Wars The Old Republic is a very softcore MMO. Since the beginning, the grind in this game has been relatively low, considering it is an American MMO geared towards an American audience, that tends to seek instant gratification. As such, the ability to achieve endgame gear and unlock endgame content comes in a relatively short period of time. Even achieving full Battlemaster pre-nerf was nothing that was incredibly time consuming, and for most diligent characters taking at most 1 full month, for the luckier fiew as short as 2 weeks.
All this being said, it seems that you are unhappy with the fact that you have to put in a decent amount of work to recieve reward, which truly is a shame as maybe MMO's aren't your type of game. I picked up the game 2 weeks after release, I reached level 50 within one month, and finished my battlemaster set before they added the availability of purchasable tokens. All this done within a 2 month period is exceedingly fast for any MMO. Coming from a game like Aion, yes I find the PvP content lacking, as is much other content in the game, but the dev team is working on rolling out new content as soon as they can. In Aion it would take a good 4-6 months to even reach level 50, let alone another 4-6 to get a full PvP set for your equivalent level. This game is cake in comparison. Please stop your ************.
Sincerely,
People that actually play MMOs.
