  1. A "MLP: Friendship is Magic" guild has been on The Harbinger for a while if you ever roll a character there and have an interest in the ponies.
  2. Well, going by the title, the OP got his wish- even if the moderator post seems a little strange. A lot of stuff must have been deleted. Would be nice to know that the powers that be have been in a thread, especially one that you own. A nice reassurance that your gripe, concern, suggestion has been viewed-even if there is no actual reply written. Maybe a box with a check mark in it or a blurb in your account settings/PM inbox.
  3. I ran across a thread a few weeks back which stated that even though they play amongst us; they aren't allowed to let themselves be known. I guess you would have to know one of them personally in order to differentiate their actions from the millions of other characters out there. I suggested to have them create accounts specifically to be used to interact with the rest of us- to start rumors, give help/advice, hand out freebies maybe.
  4. I play on The Harbinger because I live in the West Coast area. Through all the server consolidations this is where my original legacy ended up. Also, my fireinds are there and along with my more advanced characters and legacy- but it is laggy as hell at times. Numerous threads dedicated to that servers hamster in these here forums. I play on The Shadowlands also because I like to be able to maneuver through fleet without running into walls or getting hung up on the rails overlooking the pits. Yeah, you read that right- a West Coast person getting a better connection with an East Coast server. So, I'm hoping OPs rumor is nothing more than that. The Shadowlands pop is fine- Dumping a whole new server on it - I can't see any benefit. To steal the thread a little, I hope BW comes up with either new server hardware for The Harbinger or resurrect another to lighten the load. This will make two West Coast PVE servers just like the East Coast has now. I don't crunch the numbers enough to see if a new server would be possible keeping a healthy population on both (I expect someone will chime in though), but for me it seems like a good idea. In short, I agree we should not merge the two East Coast PVE Servers.
  5. LOL. I see both points of view. I plan on participating in this sub-forum for the designated purpose it was meant for. @Darth_MoonShadow- you always have an interesting way of presenting your thoughts- I'd like you to stick around.
  6. Well, except for Italy, where the proper way to eat pizza is with knife and fork. Asking for pepperoni will get you something other than what most people would expect. Quattro formaggi, onion, Prosciutto San Daniele and mushrooms on a crust cooked in a woodfired oven. Pure deliciousness.
  7. I think I can handle all that, it's just i have this big green poofy thing with a brown leg right outside my door. I swear it's staring at me. /looks quickly over shoulder to ensure safety in my basement. Agree, I married some of my characters off. It would be nice for something new every once in a while. Although a series of new companion quests would be great, I would still like a new letter from Kira- or a new sarcastic dialogue/reply occasionally. i'm not a RP type player, but the companion thingie is part of the game and story, would be nice for a little bit added to it periodically.
  8. I like new technology and I like that tablets are getting to the point of being viable gaming alternatives. I travel a lot, so this rig would be beneficial. Plus I could dock it when I am at home. My real concerns are: 1) would the Razer Edge play this game satisfactorily- as this is the only game i'm interested in enough that would sway any purchase decisions. 2) Peripheral ease of use; as far as I can tell it has just the one USB port -leaving me with the the requirement to carry a USB hub. I can deal with that if i have to, but the space savings is negated if I have to carry extra peripherals and their assorted cables and power supplies. Leaves me in the laptop camp if that is the case. But can the graphics handle this game? Eagerly awaiting a review from one of you who have splurged on one and put it to the test.- hence the friendly /bump. KCCO
  9. Yep. A Google search of that number, with and without the two zeroes in front, comes up as suspicious. Seems to have offended quite a few people from The Netherlands especially. I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. If the call is legitimate- they can leave a message and I'll decide if I need to ring them back. If a caller is persistent, the number gets blocked. I also use Google to see if there is a history of that number harassing others.
  10. Server, Faction, Focus? edit. Thanks for clarifying, OP. Best place for this post will be on that servers guild recruitment folder, found here: good luck
  11. Just roll with it and create a guild named <Snipers With Knives> Chive on.
  12. Harbinger always has the best stories. No way you guys are allowed to transfer servers.
  13. They have lightsabers?
  14. /groinscratch, for those time when you need an adjustment.
  15. Would also be a way to be able to achieve some of those new achievement criteria. For example, kill the 15 training droids on Tython. I could delete a character or buy extra character slots for the server, but making some of the quests re-doable would also be a good option. Even scaling the level and skill of those droids to match my character coming back to knock out the achievement would be great to maintain the challenge. Also, like mentioned above, doing this would add more replay options throughout the game. I'd go back to some earlier planets just for the satisfaction of doing something different than dailies.
  16. New siting on The Harbinger: Character name: Exgirlfriend Title: The Backstabber Epic, though I kept my distance and didn't make eye contact.
  17. Anyone use this? Dulfy has a great breakdown, but am interested on reading the pro's and con's from others as well. I currently use a Naga/Nostromo combo and am generally happy with it. They are both getting on in years though, so someday I will have to look for replacements. The Nostromo is a little more unforgiving to those with overly large and small hands. The Orbweaver addresses that and has extra keys also, but how well does it do so? Like the Nostromo, there is a lot of hate on other review sites like Amazon. Any words on how the SWTOR community finds this?
  18. Mine likes to hang out with the original socialite: General Garza Kardashian.
  19. IMO- Necroscop's answer is the best idea. I understand the utility of having forwarded whispers. But there are times when you want to be totally anonymous, even when riding your online toon. So now we know that legacy-wide message traffic can work, a nice update would be to have the on/off toggle incorporated somewhere.
  20. get a can of http://www.campbellsoup.com/Products/Condensed/Healthy-Kids/2288 swirl the spoon, and look for inspiration. There are online versions of this too, but you can't slurp those.
  21. Mostly solo now. Grouping up takes away from the relaxation aspect of logging in.
  22. It will take about 3000 years of blaster pistol technology to be improved before a set like the one you describe comes out; if you stick to the timeline.
  23. awww. the happiness from kittehs. Now is time for some puppy love. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Shistavanen?file=LakSivrak.jpg
  24. Devs just high-fived again. Guess the ploy works.
  25. To add more ideas, here are some characters I've seen across the servers in the past year and more: Legacy name: Holdthemayo Names: Hamonwheat, Hamonrye Legacy name: Bagodonuts Names: Imaphatt, Bigjigglin (Male Twi'lek Body type 4, lol) Legacy name: Trator Names: Perp, Arbit, Cas, Pene (I wouldn't be surprised if there is a Seques Trator, now)
