I can kinda understand not wanting one when you are with a friend, so don't summon it unless you are doing group quests. And while solo, I don't understand, they add new things to the game, gives you an opportunity to try different things with them.

OP, the only reason I kill those same mob types is for the story, to keep it fun I do make a game out of it, and try to formulate strategies with my companions. Now I have seen healer mobs, and stealth mobs, cc mobs, damage mobs, tanks mobs. But they are spread out to much. I think that is a somewhat easy fix and Bioware will get it done in the next 6 months.

Hovering Hutt! I would be afraid, if he somehow disarmed me, then shot me in the leg, then hovered over me, and dropped, ahhhhhh!! But yeeah, Hutts are really smart, you may wonder "well how does a Hutt get into Power?" there are many ways, I think the most common is one Hutt, investing in another younger Hutt, to take down a rival, getting the young Hutt part of the rivals land, but the young Hutt would be under the older one until it built enough power to take down the older one. Its early so my ability to write is not quite there, but I hope that explains.

If you remember, Jango Fett killed a Jedi and out matched Obi-wan (though Obi was trying to capture him, not kill him) Jango also would have at least survived Mace, if his jet pack was working. Skill plus amazing gear makes someone hard to stop. Do I think Han could take down a Sith, other then setting up a trap for the Sith, or using the environment, he could not do it.

This sounds really good, I was thinking about not making him military, but kinda being forced into fighting. Haha, very nice, in the story however he will not use a weapon, but he might try to "mod" someones weapon and have the same results. I do like the Gimil type for him (movies not books) though being a Jedi, I don't think that would work, I may make him a military type or former Bounty Hunter, and friend #4 is his brother, that would work. So basically I am writing a short story based off of this timeline (tor), with my friends and myself as the main characters (with minor modifications ) What I need help with is names/jobs/race for everyone, I will give a rundown of my friends in real life. 1. Male 21. One of the smartest people I know, is in college for Computer engineering, was in jrotc and can fly a plane pretty dang good. He also lifts weights a lot and looks like Matt Damon. 2. Male 20. Also a very smart person, he writes code for a software company ( no college) knows more about computers then anyone I know and like to take thing apart and "mod" them. he is a little overweight. 3. Male 23. Works security at cowboy stadium, big guy, body builder, though a nerd at heart, he has great strategies in video games. (mostly AoE 2 were I have never seen him be beat) In most other matter though, he is really slow. 4. Male 20. This guys family is ether in the military or the mob.....not kidding, ether way he knows a heck of a lot about weapons and is really good at all of them, he is also 6'6" 350 pounds. He can be good or bad I don't care. Note: The protagonist is based off me and is a Jedi, I am a hopeless romantic so I will have him fall in love, so I wrote a female lead, she is not based off anyone. The antagonist is based off another friend, but I already have everything down for him. I have a good list of side characters and if this goes well, might ask for help on some of them as well. I see what you did there. My sister is coming for Christmas, and I worried about play time, Then I think I am a terrible person for thinking that, next thing I know its 3 hours later, and I have been playing this entire time.

I have a level 24 Jedi Guardian, and I feel like I got him there way to fast, so I rolled an alt.

Other then the ninja's here and there stealing my mobs and nodes, the community has been great.

I love space battles, I can do them over and over again, they are the best looking graphics in the game.

As a Jedi Guardian, but having played other classes, I can tell you that the jedi is an amazing tank, but it takes some time to get good, and get skills, at one point I was playing with 2 other tanks and healer, we made a hard pull and seconds in we got another elite on a path. The 2 other tanks went down fast, as I put up one of my two shield skills, the healer and I then managed to beat 4 of the 6 elites before we both fell. Tanking 6 elites and doing enough Dps to kill 4, while doing my best to keep them off of the healer, I would say jedi Guardians make good tanks.

Really? I am almost 100% certain that choice has lasting consequences. man, I and tons of others must be wrong. while your choices make no where near the same impact as in say mass effect, it still does effect the game, and the story.

Really, you are flaming us, we are right and you don't like it! So take a deep breath, and remember this is just a game, if you can't take 3 hours of down time a few times a week while the game is new (cuz it will get better) then maybe you should look to see if you should be even playing the game.

agreed! this is the most complete, however here are some others things I would love to see. Cosmetics, I don't like looking like everyone else. I would love to customize the color of my ship as well as the inside. Big battles with npc's as allies and enemies.

I wouldn't say that, there is still a lot they can do to improve the game, however it is one of the best MMO's out there.

1996, I was 7 and it was episode 4, I saw it with my dad and fell in love with it that day, and so for the past 15 year, I have been in love with the series, been playing the games since x-wing and dark forces. Also because of my age I loved all the prequels, which now I still enjoy them, as long as I pretend I am still little.

If you want to play the game, roll an alt on another server until yours clears up. Also anybody who knows anything about mmo releases, know that there will be long Queue lines, they will fix the servers, and everything will be good.

It was a good question, and you provided a good answer. Joining because people you know are on that server had not crosses my mind, since I am the only one of my friends playing and I am not in a guild.

*facepalm* This is a message to all those who joined today and some yesterday. If the server was heavy, or seemed popular, why join? I got in on the first day found the least popular server, I can log in without a queue even now.
