  1. Still haven't fix it!
  2. Hello there, I play a madness assassin from the beginning. I tried some other builds, but madness is something i felt good with. I play a full madness build and doing pvp most of the time. Before 2.0 we weren't overpowered at all. I thought we would get some buff instead of nerfs! Why? Endless posts have been made about madness being screwed... Well, it is!!! So to repeat it again. You made our rotation boring as hell!!! Before 2.0 i could shock one to get a bonus or use maul... One of the few things we could do to get a little bit of that tiny amount of extra damage. So when i read this in your article, you make me bit angry: "Now in 2.0, Madness Assassins can get the same results with a smoother, less complex list of abilities and ability priorities." SIGH! It wasn't that hard at all.... AND "We’re confident that the changes we’ve made will actually make Madness Assassins a more attractive option to players that were previously turned off by their complexity." OMG, are you for real? So what is your goal? Make all true madness assassins angry and try to make them turn away of the spec and then try to get a small bunch of new players filling up this gap? Or? hmmm "Madness Assassins no longer rely on Shock for sustained damage, but it’s still a perfectly viable ability for bursting a target down." LOL, did you guyz ever played a madness build? + This is a contradiction what you said before about making it less complex. So, should i use it or not? "With the removal of Shock from a sustained damage priority list, Madness Assassins have a lot more Force available. With this in mind, Calculating Mind has been replaced with Lingering Nightmares, which increases the duration of Crushing Darkness." Again, you replace an instant small buff, to an ability with a long activation cost. You are so wrong, don't mix things up... Try to play a madness spec please... "Duplicity: ...This isn’t so much a balance concern as it is a usability and complexity concern. In this specific case, adding Duplicity on top of a full Madness spec felt clunky. Worse, it wasn’t necessary. We’re fully capable of providing the same damage boost to players without requiring them to master additional gameplay. This change aims to do exactly that." Please explain, so you realy believe that taking a melee buff away AGAIN, we can replace it with what? And it's realy simple, get behind a man and hit a button. So complex... Well, to be honest. I've paid for this game from the beginning. Even when my ex-server went empty, i still payed for this game. For others before the trolling, yes i have other toons, but this one i realy liked! I hope "developer" that you give us an answer Greetings Sus
  3. I haven't done all the quests with Khem Val, so i'll be doing them asap! Check your mission log always... Grz Sus
  4. Hello, I believe i completed the storyline, got Khem Val affected for 10000 points, but still the legacy unlock doesn't come. Anybody knows what i could do, or maybe i forget something. Thanks. Sus
  5. Hello there, A madness assassin (dps) here. Here is my opinion... 1. How do you think your Assassin spec is perceived by other classes? PVE As for heroics, we are most of the time welcome in a group. As for harder missions why would the group not go for a "better" DPS class? Like for Marauders or operatives for instance? PVP They see us as an easy target, fast to kill. Especially 1 VS 1 battles: no class in SWTOR will be a afraid to go 1 VS 1 on us. Ranged DPS classes have far more survivability then us, so they can target us and shoot us down quite easy. The real problem is they aren't afraid we go in close combat with them... If you are in a good team with decent healers, the opposite team wants to kill you fast because we are quite anoying putting dots all the time. To be short, i don't think our teammates are thrilled to see a madness assassin in the pvp team. We don't bring any buff or other stuff for our teammates and our dps numbers are most of the time just avarage. And the opposite team isn't afraid of us. Even if we play a very good warzone most of the time our teammates (except if they are in your guild our something) won't give us some credits for it.... Lol, even if you unlock two doors in Voidstar or something. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? PVE Fun to play. I like stealth a lot but an operative and even a marauder can stealth aswell. To bad... This should be something unique for one class in my opinion. The pve story was great! PVP We realy need far more survivability and a buff or something for our teammates so we actualy mean something for our group. Or we need to do more melee damage (better abilities and burst damage) so our enemies are a little bit afraid seeing us coming. The ranged dps is fine as it is.
  6. Also on the server the kumumgah? For the last weeks it is just impossible to do any warzone...
  7. Well, they will first do some transfers and later on merge some servers...
  8. This isn't a crap game... I'm on the server the kumumgah, often not more then 2 or 3 people on the imperial fleet. They will fix it. Of course, the sooner, the better! I pay for it, I'm not a nerd, maybe a bit crazy
  9. And what about people who made alts on one of these servers (top 3) because their first server is death? So they won't be able to move their old chars to the server where they made the alts? I think what they propose is good. Free servers to the servers they want people to transfer to and pay for what ever server you want to go. Respect Sus
  10. Thanks for the "bug" remover on the getting infected and exploding thing. Grz Sus
  11. Shotgun-clavy: When are character transfers going to become available? And are server transfers a real possibility? Daniel Erickson: Character transfers between servers are definitely going to be available in the future and we’ll announce details as soon as we have firm dates. source: http://www.swtor.com/blog/community-qa-feb-10th-2012 I assume that they will not wait to long with it and that it is an account transfer so we don't loose our legacy points. Grz Sus
  12. I play on the server "the Kumungah". This server is as death as a rat... No fun being with 2 people or alone on a planet and have like 10 - 15 people on the Imperial fleet. (during the weekend) I do love this game, i still realy want to play it in the future if transfers will be possible. But as the way it goes now, it is way to boring. I will not rebuild all the characters i have, that would be even more boring and imo a bit silly... So i friendly ask: when does a server transfer will be available? Greetz Sus
  13. Ok, i've reached level 50 on the assassin. Will have some pvp work to be done! At this moment i think i go for a marauder. If i want to tank, i still can respec my assassin so... Still have some questions thou... I've read a lot about the rage tree. What's up with that? The most marauder say that the annihilation tree is the best. I don't have any experience with a warrior. Is the annihilation tree way better then the rage? If not, why not go for a rage juggernaut instead? Greetz Sus
  14. I guess if i want pure DPS, i should role a marauder! The only thing i'm curious about is how big is the difference in DPS between a marauder and a dps jugg? It think it's quite normal that a marauder does more dps, they are made for it And how difficult is playing a marauder? Is it really that challenging as compared to a jugg? Greetz and thanks Sus
  15. Well i've some dps experience, most of the time putting DOT'S where ever i can I like it, but i think that playing a warrior is something different, at least, i assume that it is different! Of course till level 50 the storyline is an imported aspect of the game. But after that you focus on pvp. And then i want to swich from now and then to an other toon. (i have a commando also) Thanks, and have a nice swtor time! Sus
  16. Hello there! I have done some reading through the forum for a couple of weeks now. I have a level 48 assassin and soon will reach level 50. I have a madness assassin and i could say that both pve and pvp are fun and not to hard to manage. I'm not saying i'm the king of pvp, no just an average pvp player having fun with the game. I've decided to play a sith warrior after the assassin. Already got it to level 10. Still i have some questions about going for a juggernaut or a marauder (yes i know, there is already much written about it! ). If i should believe the majority of the people on the forum the marauder does more DPS then the juggernaut. For getting the maximum out of the marauder you have to manage a good timing and much keybinds. The juggernaut is a little bit more "relax" to play and does good DPS also aswell being tank or DPS specd. If i play the marauder obvious i go for DPS, if i choose the juggernaut i go for a tank (for the pve part) till hitting 50 and afterwards go for a DPS juggernaut for playing pvp. a marauder pvp guide says: "Annihilation: Assuming you Force Charge in, you need to first decide if you need to apply your slow or healing debuff, typically I always apply my slow even if there are team mates attacking, as it really blows if they slow you and simply walk away. So, Force Charge(4)->Deadly Saber(in air)(1)->Battering Assault(7)-> Crippling Slash(5)->Rupture(3)(pop Berserk now if you have it)->Assault(5)->Annihilate(1). As you can see, that kinda takes a while, if you remove Crippling slash you can finish that much quicker as you don’t need to Assault either,... etc etc. So i still have some questions: 1. Is the DPS in pvp combat of a marauder significant bigger then a dps jug? Because if you prefer to go maniac style for like 5 % extra DPS then for a player like me it is just not worth it. 2. Is the marauder so hard to play? (my assassin has like hitting 6 or 7 keysbinds after going melee) Thank you for reading this, i'm looking forward to the responses! And most of all: have fun with SWTOR! Greetz Sus
