It is simply priced too high for one item, no matter how rare. This kind of thing creates bad blood with the players and leads to cries of money grabbing etc. I believe one item of platinum rarity should be no more than around 5k cartel coins in price, as you'd expect to recieve a rare item from that amount of cartel coins spent on crates and it seems a fair tradeoff to sacrifice all of the items you would have recieved from crates for one very rare item.

I have the problem too, Nvidia 970 user. Dont have this issue in other games I play so its certainly not "overclocked card" or "high temps". Nothing seems to work to fix it so I guess we are stuck with it for now.

Mine's gonna be a DS Sorcerer. Hopefully they get a good and original Sith-look. Maybe a purple-black skintone to differentiate them from mostly red/black Sithy Twi-Leks and Zabrak.

I'm pro-skadge. DS Comp options on a BH are limited at best so as a DS BH I quite liked him and his unrelenting, unforgiving, dont-give-a-f*** attitude. I swear some people just cant handle a little bit of confrontation, which Skadge brings in shedloads. I also liked when my BH refered to him as my attack-dog. Thats what Skadge is, the BH's version of a German Shephard.

Have to fervently agree with the issues raised here. I love TOR, but its painfully apparent how low res certain textures are, takes me back to vanilla Oblivion with the pea-soup landscape textures. Well unfortunately modders cant change that for you Bioware, so can we hear some news of when you'll be looking into it? Or even just confirmation that you recognise the issue?

Again using SWG as a model I believe people had much more fun when Jedi were this mysterious aspect you only whispered about, than when people were able to roll one any time they wanted later. Yes, we need difficulty and challenge and after all we are gamers- we're not dumb for the most part, we play because we like our entertainment to reward our endeavours.

I think the trouble is people are applying the same method to TOR as they are to any other MMO- focusing on getting to endgame. Really right now the meat of the content is in all the different classes, theres like a fully-voiced game equal in content to Skyrim for each class as it is. Although some might not like it, it is an altoholics(aka me) dream. That said the endgame content will come in time, so try not to fret too much.

I for one am glad we have english/british accents, I find I can relate to my character a lot more because of it. Admit it, we beat you on the sexy voice stakes

'World of Whores' a game where the only objective is to lie, decieve and generally backstab your way to as much loot as possible. Then once you have the best loot wait a few months for more loot to come out. This is the game, right? Btw I dont hate World of Warcraft .

The mail system works fine as far as delivering credits is concerned- Ive had plenty from quests. The AH however- not many people using that on our server at least so hard to say for now.

For those of us that have craved what SWTOR offers- be it story, strong characterisation, or just a new Star Wars MMO, yes, this is a WoW replacement. For others- PvPers, hardcore raiders etcetera well some will go back and some will stay. For the forseeable future however, I believe WoW will still be 'Number 1'.
