What's to stop players for incresing prices to cover the costs of taxes?

I just recently resubed to the game after a three year break and paid for a 6 month sub. I'm now regretting that I did that after learning about these stupid taxes. Get rid of the quick travel costs that can penalize new/returning players that didn't exploit or have billions of credits.

Quick Travel costs are ridiculous. I believe one of the biggest drivers of this inflation nonsense is allowing players to resell things they purchasse off the cartel market on the GTN (we all know you guys wont stop that because that's your $$$$). I'm not wealthy credits wise by any means but there are things you can besides punishing low level players quick traveling. Punishing players for things Bioware allowed to happen (bug exploits and Cartel Market sales on GTN) is only going to hurt the game. Bad move. I personally know people who did the companion gifts expoit (one i didnt participate in) who were never punished or had their credits/gifts taken away. Some even laundered it in the GTN. I remember feeling bad that I didn't exploit sinced they were never penalized. No matter your opinion on the exploit, Bioware screwed it up completely. The blame isn't solely on the exploiters. I don't have any suggestions except for making some fabulous strong hold decoration items that costs billions of credits. Maybe that will reduce credits in the game. Making it harder to make money is only punishing towards players who didn't exploit or are new to the game. Un do this while you can.

Kotor was great before EA bought Bioware ... then came the dark times.

Yeah, Blood Bath and Beyond was a juggernaut in conquest back in the day before some people helped sink the ship.

The ONLY thing EA/bioware cares about is money so STOP GIVING THEM MONEY. My sub ended today. Do what I did ... don't resub. Spending my $15 on ESO or something. This game is done.

By taking away the slayer grinds, you idiots just killed conquest for me. My sub just ended today so you take this game and shove it in your butt. I will never play another EA product again. Not even your may 31st sub rewards of the reskilled astromech droid and S H I T looking speeder can make me spend another $15.00.

The new system is definitely less fun. Many of these changes do not make any sense. There are several hoops to jump through to get points also, which is just silly. I have a ton of characters also and Bioware just made having that many worthless. I also wasted my time in leveling up that many. I don't think EA/Bioware will revert the system because if they do, they will be admitting that they made a huge mistake. Most people cannot admit that they made a mistake and with a company, it's even less so. They do not admit the truth and a prime example of this is how they don't admit that a ton of people quit playing the game because of game changes and that's why we just had all the server merges. I just started playing ESO and Warcraft myself.

yep, I loved lockouts but I'm glad it's been nerfed for obvious reasons. TEEEHEEEHEEHEEHEE People with tons of toons like me could just power their guild to the top, so I welcome that part.

Well with the recent conquest changes the server merging will be happening soon I'm sure because most of the players will have quit.

So I did a heroic for conquest and then noticed that there's a cooldown to do another one? What was the point in doing this? Creating more hoops to jump through? Are we your monkeys? Sub is up in 6 days. Roll this **** back or i'm done.

It's clear to me that that the devs do not care about this game or play it. If they did they would have fixed some of these issues.

I did one FP this week and got 300 CQ points out of the 15,000 needed for the week. Before they were giving over a thousand even without any bonus. Yep, thanks for killing flashpoints for me, Bioware. I'm now playing ESO. I loved seeing the interview with Eric Musco and Charles Boyd the other day saying that the dev team did a good job because they put out a new GSF map this year LOL. For an excuse, they used, "GSF players represent a small amount of the population." They said the same with OPS players as well as they defended the length of time it took to put out a new operation. I think the only way we will get BioWare's attention is to stop buying anything from the cartel market. They are listing most things for direct sale soon. I would recommend not buying ANYTHING. Why would you even want to? Explore old content in a new speeder? BORING
