  3. Finished Nightmare KP tonight. Don't worry, our Warrior everything(Thrasher, Jarg, Foreman, G4) is here to stay. Though we did get two Agent weapons off of Karagga. Working as intended! <./sarcasm> It is pretty fun clearing Nightmare mode with 4 Inquisitors in Columi gear. I started to wonder tonight if we're being punished for not bringing a balanced raid. 4 Inquisitors, 2 Bounty Hunter, 1 Agent, 1 Warrior.. And we see the most Agent and Warrior drops.. and NEVER see Inquisitor drops. I wonder if it's weighted in any such way (higher drop chance for lowest represented gear), and the system is horrendously off? Can anyone else post their raid comps that have different skewed drop rates? Like the group that says they get nothing but Agent, are you running 4 agents? etc. Am curious to hear the results of this.
  4. Cleared EV tonight. 15 Warrior drops, 3 Agent, 2 BH, 0 Inq. Cleared Bone Thrasher before we stopped for the night. 4 Warrior drops. This is consistent with my previous posts. Feel free to debate for another week that the system is "working as intended". I'll check back next Tuesday when we get 16+ warrior drops again.
  5. We raid Ops. I'm the Raid lead/GM of the guild, and I get the most fun in helping other people. We're trying to get geared up in preparation for the 1.2 Operation coming. Other people need gear, but there are definitely pieces I could use as upgrades. What I mean by "I don't need the gear." Is that the gear I have on currently is sufficient to complete all available content at the moment. I just got a new rig, and the game looks amazing. I'm finding some fun in going back on alts and visiting planets that I didn't get a chance to enjoy due to having a low-spec system back in December/January. The game IS fun. But this issue is a deep and complex one. I'd have 100% more fun if Bioware would acknowledge this issue. Acknowledge being a forum post in regards to this issue. Not a reply. When Crevasse City's PVP queue was completely broken, Bioware said "we'll get back to you". Two weeks later, we called Bioware. This was the first they've heard of it. A week later, the entire server sent in game tickets. They told us to not do that. Called again, "First we've heard of it.". More tickets, more forum posts. FINALLY got someone to look at it, and, my god, it really -WAS- broken like we were saying. We weren't imagining things. Same thing here. I will continue conversation amongst the people in this thread until it caps out and has to be locked/merged to a new thread. At least that way I know for certain that -someone- has viewed this thread.
  6. You will notice that on the Guardian Boss in Foundry, "Sevv" had his loot table deviate ONE TIME, for ONE BOSS. This was the ONLY time that the list deviated. Here's some facts being thrown at you. If you solo a flashpoint like lvl 10 Black Talon, you will only get your gear. Source? I ran Black Talon 10 times on my Bounty hunter Alt, and received ONLY BH gear. I ran Black Talon 10 times on my Inquisitor, and received ONLY Inquisitor gear. I REPEATED THIS for EVERY CLASS, and ONLY received -THAT- Gear. Knowing that.. CONCLUSION: Hardmode Flash Point/Operation loot lists are being assigned to the person who is leader. This list does not properly reset in future Ops/FPs. A 4 Warrior Drop, 0 IA/BH/SI drop from a flash point happening once in a while would be rare, but understandable. 25% chance is a large enough percentage that it wouldn't be uncommon to roll a 25/100 four times in a row. The fact that it occurs with the same leader, every time afterwards to people with this bug, is EVIDENCE ENOUGH that there is something corrupt in the looting code for instances. "I dont have this problem , so it doesn't exist" are the same people who say they one shot Soa every week and never have a Lightning Orb bug out, or a Pillar not break Soa's shield. My PS3 Skyrim didn't have frame rate issues, even when my save hit 10MB. The problem must not exist, right?
  7. http://i.imgur.com/eyL52.jpg This is the little red journal i kept next to my desk when my guild had 4 people at level 50, and only the FOUR of us could run Flashpoints together. This journal became USELESS when we brought in the 5th person to hit 50 in our guild. To reiterate. After bringing in the 5th person, we had to go back and figure out 'who' dropped 'what'. Example: "Ush" would no longer drop ALL BOUNTY HUNTER GEAR, EVERY TIME, in Battle of Ilum. He would switch to something like BH, SI, SI, SI Every time. And, just like our Operations, with Rei being the Operation Leader, We've seen Warrior gear drop by the buckets, and nothing else but that one Agent gear drop, in THREE WEEKS. Whether you choose to listen to the message being presented to you, is your decision alone. The evidence is here. This isn't an "isolated" incident. People are experiencing this issues. And, again, I'll say it. A piece of Rakata Gear, 25% chance to drop, shouldn't have a smaller drop rate than the damn BINDING OF THE WINDSEEKER from Molten Core.
  8. A 25% chance is an equal 25% chance every time it happens. Go ahead and roll an 8 sided die 120 times. Tell me how many times you roll a '1 or 2'. You can get everyone on this forum, on this game, in my city, state, country. And the chances of ONE person accomplishing the feat of NOT rolling 1 or 2 ONCE.. is laughable, son. This issue is occuring. Sorry. I'm glad that you haven't been affected by it. Just because you can't grasp the fact that this game is bugged in some aspects that you can't wrap the simple mind around, it's not our fault. I'm going to do this again since youwintheprize.jpg minded trolls can't read through entire threads before posting their nonsense. This game was previously coded to list guild levels as such. Crevasse City didn't have a working PVP queue for 30+ Days. It took a spam of forum posts, PHONE CALLS, E-mails, and In-game requests for a MONTH to convince Bioware to look into it. The response we got? 5 of the 10 Bosses have repeatable, fight changing bugs. Even with this knowledge, "Patch X.Y , Boss Z has been fixed." and is made worse than before. Each planet has quests that are simply unabandonable. Up until a few weeks ago, Channeled abilities had to be given a .5 to 1 second extra buffer time after visual completion to allow DoTs to finish, or casts to truly go go off as intended. This is a SMALL LIST of Chronic, GAME CHANGING Bugs that came to the top of my head in 60 seconds. You're telling me, that loot tables being bugged is out of the realm of possibility? You're out of your god damn mind, son. Why don't you read back a few pages and check the other threads. My group could MANIPULATE DROPS FROM FLASHPOINTS depending on who was leading, as long as the four of us CONTINUED TO RUN TOGETHER. Again, you're telling me that in comparison to the other severe , game changing bugs, that a bugged loot list that is tied to the group leader / boss drops, NOT being reset, is out of the question!?
  9. What was the total? 1.7 Million players, but only 35% have done operations? So 600,000 people are doing Operations.. Assume that's 22,000 16 mans, and 31,000 8 mans that run once a week. Things of this statistical improbability would occur to one guild. Maybe two. The odds are in the 8-9 DIGITS of Odds. You're reaching Lottery-type numbers, occuring to multiple guilds, on a daily basis. WHAT PART of 25% DROP RATES do you people -NOT- Understand? These odds under these circumstances are NOT INTENDED. Get a clue, good lord.

And because I don't except the youwintheprize.jpg quality trolls to actually read through this thread, and the other 30-50 page threads touching on this topic, I'll post my analogy again: I have Skyrim on Ps3, and never experienced frame rate loss. Should I have gone posting on every thread that talked about that issue, saying " LOLOLOL! Sorry guys, Ps3 owner here, no frame rate loss. Your guys systems just SUX THE LULZ!" I'm happy you guys haven't experienced this. Truly. Because with that small troll brain and patience, you guys would've long unsubscribed. This game is NOT Warcraft. It is NOT Everquest. It is NOT Rift. Stop pretending that "RNG is RNG." This loot system is unique to this game. For God sake, Crevasse City didn't have a lvl 50 PVP bracket until a MONTH after everyone else did, due to a "Corruption in the patch code for the Crevasse City server." Do you -HONESTLY- believe, in your heart of hearts, that nothing is wrong with the loot system? Knowing how many bugs this game has in it? It's more likely than it is UNlikely.
  12. You haven't been paying attention to the thread. 0/10. And, for what it matters, I don't even get your comment. My contributions to this thread was adding the fact that our warrior has 5/5 DPS and Tanking Rakata, and the 3 Inquisitors have 5/5 Rakata Ashara's. Yet our inquisitors have maximum of 1 Rakata piece each (from before we went to a strict 8 player roster, down from swapping 13 in and out). Different groups have different pieces that don't drop for them. Gives credence to the theory that loot is generated from a person, in conjunction to who is in the party with the person. See "MANIPULATING DROPS" About a page or two back. And I can't believe I'm letting trolls incite anger in me. But what part of.. 119 Warrior pieces, 1 Agent piece.. Don't you guys understand? Maybe it should be taken down to 113 due to the fact that the Physical DPS Relics can't be considered "Warrior." But none the less, Double drops for Physical DPS. So i'll revive my argument. What part of 113 Warrior pieces , 1 Agent, 0 Inquisitor, 0 Bounty Hunter, do you NOT understand? Lady RNG just being cruel? Or a sign that people who run strict groups with the same leader end up with bug loot lists? Money is on the 2nd one there.

  14. I forgot that all WoW items had the same, static % chance to drop items. Oh wait. Warglaives had a 1-5% chance to drop. Oh, wait again. There are only 4 items these bosses can drop, as opposed to, oh, i dont know, TWENTY SIX that Baleroc drops, for example. http://www.wowhead.com/npc=53494#drops:mode=heroic25 Ragnaros' item drops range from 1.4% to 80%. http://www.wowhead.com/npc=52409 SHOCKING that if your guild never saw the mount, that is was because RNG was working as intended. Sucks that your argument is nil and void considering the bosses of SWTOR are supposed to have a static 25% Drop rate.

The simple fact that you could and can manipulate drop tables based on who is leader of the group says everything about the system bring broken. That thread has information where Leader A could produce token C drops, Leader B would produce token A drops, leader C would produce token D drops, and Leader C would produce token B drops. We used that method to gear up 4 people in Flashpoints before we started doing Operations. I can PERSONALLY attest to this method working. I can PERSONALLY tell you that this method ceased to work when we switched a single person of the group. Conclusion? Every person has a loot tables associated with them upon entering an instance, and when the same group enters future FPs/OPs, it isn't getting reset. It's stuck in a loot table. There is no way for us to know HOW they are doing loot, so any reply of "Loot is determined when X Y Z" isn't valid. This theory is just as valid as any other. Yeah, getting 8 Warrior Pieces, 0 BH, 0 Agent sucks. But if it happens one time, it's bad RNG. When future runs identically produce.. 8 Warrior, 0 BH, 0 Agent, something is wrong. Three runs later, you also get 7 Warrior, 0 BH, 1 Agent... Something isn't being reset in regards to personal loot tables. Back to the previous, if someone else enters the group of 4 or 8, it resets everyones loot tables. Is it a coincidence, considering the following examples that occured to me? 1. that we could manipulate the loot tables how we wanted to when the same group of 4 went? (2 1/2 - 3 weeks of doing this). 2. This method ceased to work when we subbed in one different person (including going back to the previous, original member) 3. We had an even distribution of Operation Loot when we had 13 people we switched in and out for our 8 man Operation Runs 4. When we switched to 8 man strict, we've suddenly had 119 Warrior Drops, 1 Agent Drop, 0 Inquisitor, and 0 Bounty Hunter? Not trying to attack you, will only respond harshly when I feel like I'm being attacked, or my information is being trolled or not considered valid. I've compiled months of information for the sole purpose of HELPING this issue. I'm absolutely willing to continue to have adult conversations with you as long as you keep an open mind that just because you don't see the issue, it doesn't exist for some reason. i.e. my Skyrim analogy. I don't need gear anymore. This issue -DOESN'T EFFECT ME PERSONALLY-. I want it fixed for those who are still experiencing it. Every time I provide this information, it's 50% People saying "THANK YOU! This is awesome information" and 50% people saying "lololol you're an idiot, RNG is RNG".   17. Class Tokens is a good idea when you have 10-11 classes. ie 'the other game', but here it doesn't seem like it'd work either way. The best scenario would probably either be a "Tech" token and a "Force" token. Obviously Agent/BH on one token and Warrior/Inquisitor on the other token. Or if they were to do the 2 per token set up, you could also split it into 1 Force and 1 Tech per token. A "Guardian" token for Warrior/BH and a "Commander" token for Inquisitor/Agent. Names would be changed, obviously. I don't think a Wildcard token would work for a game with only 4 classes

And you think it's happened "one time." ? You're hilarious "dawg". Buried in the depths of the forums are 50 page threads regarding this issue going back to December. How many times do I have to say that when there are only FOUR ITEMS in a Loot table, all four having the same 25% chance to drop, the odds of seeing the same singular item for 30+ Drops in a row is almost statistically impossible? Yet it happens on a DAILY BASIS to a lot of people. Those people who give a crap enough end up posting on the forums. The people who don't have probably unsubscribed by now. Rakata Inquisitor Weapon shouldn't have the same drop rate as Left Binding of the Windseeker. And, for the record dawg, the week previous we saw every (There's that word again) piece of warrior drop, minus one Rakata Offhand for Agents off of Gharj. If you're busy playing Plinko, i'll do the math for you. That's 119 Warrior items and 1 Agent. Anything else, Dawg? Let me guess, 119 warrior items is "working as intended" ? Lol. RNG is RNG my friends, case closed, nothing to see here!

  21. I appreciate the mature response here. This sums up everything nicely. Just to touch on something you said at the end, repeating my wow comparison here, Getting a 25% Drop (Columi/Rakata anything from end boss) Shouldn't feel like trying to collect Bindings of the Windseeker for Thunderfury. I'm sure some people feel this exact way.
  22. And for the record, I don't even need gear anymore. Full Rakata from my guild busting its ***. There were weeks where we ONLY saw Warrior gear. Other weeks where we ONLY saw Bounty Hunter gear. And I do mean 10 pieces of Rakata Warrior, or 10 pieces of Bounty Hunter Rakata. Luckily, there was a week where it was 10 PIECES OF INQUISITOR. Sorry, but that is not a working loot table. Did it even out in the end? Yeah, I suppose it did. But the loot should of been of a 5/3/2/0 , 4/3/2/1, 6/2/1/1 variety. Not 10/0/0/0 three weeks in a row, followed by an 8/2/0/0 week this week, where we saw 8 Warrior and 2 Agent drops. My Ashara probably has more gear than most of the people on our server. These posts are a matter of principal that this bug needs fixed for those it is affecting the most.
  23. Are you guys actually saying that the loot can't POSSIBLY be bugged? Consider the following. Until last week, sorting guild roster by Level, Lowest to Highest, looked like this: A game that features 10 raid bosses, of which Garhj, Pylon, Soa, Bonethrasher, and G4B3 (50% OF BOSSES) Have bugs that can break the encounter on a given attempt (3 months after release.) A game that when Master Looter was activated on Hardmode, Rakata gear WAS REMOVED FROM LOOT TABLES, and would not drop. A game that was so out of sync, that cast bars and abilities needed an extra .5 to 1 second grace period to finish their channel, before being able to reliable do another action without clipping a DoT or dismounting? You're telling me that bugged loot variance is out of the realm of possibility? You're out of your damn mind, son.
