I'm not a fan of pvp either, I'm just too unco, I always die within seconds before I get a chance to gather my bearings I learned very quickly in another MMO I use to play that being nice and healing people I'm not grouped with could possibly be to my detriment lol Needless to say I keep a low profile while out and about by myself... its scary to think I could accidentally flag myself, that would make me a very sad panda

agreed I'm all for constructive criticism but there in lies the problem with 90% of those raging at the game... its not constructive, its just hateful whinging

Eventually I bought one for ton of credits, it wasn't until 5 levels later when I went to offload my full inventory that I came across the back pack. Exactly, never had to bother upgrading a companion before so its easy to overlook it now. I've just started using the healer companion I got the other day, Malavai Quinn. Some of the gear I get says its suitable only for Vette haven't come across anything I can use for him yet.

I like the idea, I haven't figured out my companions gear yet... for the most part I've forgotten about upgraded it =S

meh to all the "bugs" apart from the 2 I've encountered... an evading mob and a bugged node I haven't noticed anything myself, I wouldn't know what to look for anyway lol. I'm not that critical that I sit there dissecting everything as I play... too busy exploring and trying to keep the kitten off my head

I find the "but I pay $15 a month" argument more than annoying.... If it is that much of a concern where your .48c per day goes then put your money to better use and sponsor a starving child in an under privileged country!! But then you'd probably just find something to whinge about in that respect too!!

I was looking forward to getting Malavai Quinn, but so far not a huge fan. Even though Vette doesn't heal I seem to go faster with her. MQ just seems to spin around like a womble shooting random green beams that don't seem to achieve much, then again I could just suck now that I have to do the majority of the dmg by myself lol

^this Touche... given some of the other mmo rubbish I've played my expectations were also low so anything is an improvement imo. Which is why unlike some I'm not sitting in front of my screen purple faced screaming "hulk smash" at my pc because my target keeps evading.

For those of you who take it upon yourself to sulk and complain, your epeen expects too much! Clearly the majority of you don't have a life outside the radius of your pc... because really if you did, you would just suck it up and shrug it off for what it is A GAME (shock horror)!! I find it bemusing that there is this self righteous sense of entitlement that everything should've been perfect (if only in your opinion) upon release !! If your not happy then stop playing, because complaining as you are this early into a game release your never going to be happy with it!

There is still an oceanic release to come... Granted there are those of us that are already playing on US servers but there are also those that are waiting for the official oceanic servers to be up and running before they commit to purchasing the game etc... which isn't until March, correct me if I'm wrong. Release date here in NZ is still TBC on most sites. So has the game done growing?? Too soon to tell in my opinion.

I'm a wife... I started playing WoW because my husband ignored me too much. I soon figured if I needed to ask him something mundane like "what do you want for dinner?" I had to do it via Ventrillo. So I figured meh I'm not going to sit here like a lemon staring at blank screen while I communicate with my husband through a headset (even though he sits right next to me), might as well have a go too... was bored with farmville anyway I realised the benefits of his obsession for my own progression in game when I implemented my interpretation of the "laws" of marriage... "what is mine, is mine, what is yours is mine", so I stole his gold on a regular basis so I could buy mats etc to make myself pretty things with my tailoring craft =P When he got his Reins of the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth I made him ride me all around Northrend so I could pick up all the FP's because he didn't have enough gold for me to steal to buy my Northrend flying (hehe). So what worked for him in my transition into online gaming was... 1) ignoring me 2) letting me steal his in game stuff (what is his is mine) 3) being at my beck and call to assist me (group quests, heroics, raids) 4) keeping me plied with bourbon and M&M's Now I love him more than ever because he bought me SWTOR, even before he bought it for himself... what a good husband My only previous experience playing games on a PC was freecell and farmville, so there is hope for her too =P EDIT: Knowing how much I love my animals, he suggested I try a hunter because I could tame animals and he figured that would appeal to me... which it did lol

... I took time off for a WoW release, then the release date changed, by the time they opened the servers it was 12am NZ time of the day I had to go back to work

For me personally... Cataclysm killed my WoW experience, I was already teetering on the edge with Lich King. As for the foreseeable implementation of Pandas... that motivated me to finally uninstall it. The demise of my WoW experience isn't due to any other MMO, as much as I am enjoying TOR (bugs and all) I wouldn't say that sealed the deal for me.

sigh touche, my point really is I KNOW I suck... I just don't need or want some tool with an "addon" of some description to tell me so =P
