I would guess about 25% of the time that I use it, it means I don't die and live to fight on. I pop it, use a medpac, then run toward the closest healer/health pickup/corner to hide in. Another 50% of the time I die but live to keep an objective, etc. Its great.

+15% damage, talented to apply a root and +8% more damage, and uninterruptable. I'll be using Ravage a lot more post 1.2.

Why all the hate? You need to chill. Champion is slightly better than the new Recruit gear. Yes, it has less Expertise, but its a much better balanced set. I might be one of the only, but I like the look of Centurion and Champion armor far more than Battlemaster for my class (Marauder). In fact, I've been looking forward to the day when I can convert my PvE set to use the Centurion shells - I love the blue! Will there be any way to get the schems for Centurion and Champion armor in 1.2? I know they're planning on removing Centurion and Champion and replacing it with Recruit, but I would still love to have access to the LOOK of Centurion or Champion armor... I just don't like the black! Any ideas on this? Or am I going to have to drop Biochem to RE my PvP armor in the hopes that I get lucky and learn the schematic?

Threads like this are so entertaining. A month ago, people discounted Marauders as being weak and useless. The players that saw their potential didn't touch Carnage or Rage. Now that BW is making Carnage and Rage usable, the forums blow up with "zOMG Marauders are so OP." OP, you have no clue what you're talking about. And to anyone saying Marauders are easy - BW themselves have stated that the class is the most difficult in the game. So, even if they're "easy" for you, its still the hardest class in the game to play. Melee classes are always more difficult, and Marauders require a ton of CD management. I've been playing a Marauder since release. 1.2 includes necessary changes that make two of our previously unusable trees actually worthwhile. Stop QQing and play the game.

I see claims like this everywhere on the forums and it blows me away... in full Rakata, I have nowhere near 20k HP. Are you putting +END mods in your gear or what?

If I had to guess, they aren't wearing PvP armor... Champion has 10 - 20 less strength per piece than Columi (iirc), so you're looking at ~150 less strength when you're in Champion. But you make up for it with a flat +dmg% in expertise. With a combo of Rakata and Champion and the Rakata stim I have about 1690 STR.

The three nodes in Alderaan each shoot different colors. I think they should just make these more prominent... maybe hue the actual turret, node, and platform this color. Then, in mid, put a sign on each side designating which side is which color. In Voidstar, the door on one side should always be one color, and the other side should be another color. Then we're calling colors and not directions that are easily misunderstood. It'll just be a slight learning curve to remember which side is which.
