  1. FotMs change, so whichever is "better" now might not be in a few months. -which is why you should always play the one you enjoy the most and the FotM. With the new Discipline system you can now get a better feel for the class is like at level 10, so roll on of each and see which you prefer.
  2. Does anyone know if there's some sort of pattern to which gear sets go on sale? I'm currently looking to purchase the Heartless Pursuer set, but I only have enough CC to buy it when it goes on sale...
  3. Juggs and Guardians have always been oped.
  4. Haha. I just saw that. The other two class specific abilities also grant a 10%...one is crit and the other is alacrity.....yeah, alacrity.
  5. [quote=DethlaHadyn;7972899 [*]Kolto Overload's 30% damage reduction isn't applied, nor is the Kolto cooldown being reduced when getting attacked, after it's been activated. (pyro discipline) That is simply NOT TRUE as it is FULLY FUNCTIONAL. Kolto Overload's and Adrenaline Rush's 30% damage reduction is applied when the ability activates, i.e. when your health drops below 35%, as the tool tip states. Try it. Secondary Improvement list. No.
  6. I this happening to anyone else? It just started happening to me recently and have no idea why. http://oi60.tinypic.com/206yp1h.jpg
  7. They simplified sub-55 content with 3.0, which is why everything seems so easy. ...and the only discipline that will most likely get nerfed, if at all, is Serenity/Madness because they are currently beyond OPed. (FotM) Several 30m range skills for a melee class? hmmm. Maybe the utilities as well. They have some of the best, if not the best, utilities for pvp.
  8. Never seen that before. I've stunned several of them. The only classes that you cannot stun are guardians and Juggs (vigilance 4seconds,) and Shadows/Assassins (never ending.) Scrappers rarely, if ever, trait for the root breaking detaunt as they can be rooted again instantly. If they do...stun them right after so that they cannot roll away. Which class are you playing?
  9. You say it as if this game is balanced specifically for Ranked matches, but there are many- many other factors that come into play. I hate arenas, and rarely ever stick around for them. AP? (assault plastique?) range. If the bring this back down to 10m then they would most definitely have to bring down the range of Shadows and Assassins- which I would not mind.
  10. Back when I first started playing you weren't able to cap by stunning someone. Usually the stun would break/end before the channeling was completed...You could always roll a tactics vanguard. :| ...or petition to have the Devs increase the channeling by 1second. Very unlikely though.
  11. Um, no. Serenity/Hatred are NOT mid-range disciplines. Their skills all have a 30m range with the exception of Serenity Strike, Force Breach and Project. They USED to be a mid-range class, but 3.0 changed all their skills back to 30m, up from 10m. Shadow/Assassins also have the most CC breakers/immunities out of every class. So, stealth+range+cc immunity+stuns+roots = balanced? Tactics is currently pretty oped as well because of its insane burst dmg, while Plasmatech is underwhelming.
  12. I wish they'd bring back the (separate) GBC that shoulder cannon used to have. ..and reduced the range back to 10m of all the assassin's dots.
  13. Scoundrels/Operatives don't have one either. It's just another reason why Sorcs are considered to be the "FotM." Bubble daze---heal heal heal- stun- full health- bubble daze. Saying that Mercs don't need one because they get an instant cast is just ignorant. Sorc have one on a 30sec CD that heals for almost twice as much as the Merc one, which is on a 21sec CD. They also get a tier 1 untility that gives their knock back (20 CD) an instant heal as well, compared to the tier 3 knock back Mercs get (30s) which heals for slightly more...their permanent 20% healing increase is also one a tier 1 compare to the temporary tier 2 utility that Mercs get when they activate their shield. Pretty useless considering they can't spam heals. As for Kolto Shot 2-3 GCD- heal for almost as much as the instant+dot heal that Sorcs get. ...Let's not forget the passive healing that they get from their damaging skills either or from their bubble+utility. Dark Heal needs to be given a CD, which is then removed by an early passive in the healing Discipline, to bring then back in line with the other classes with healing abilities.
  14. You're also thrown back into combat when dots refresh....so if you're a stealth class you won't be able to go back into stealth for about 1-2-3 minutes after a fight is over.
  15. By the time you hit 60 you should have enough coms to buy 5 pieces of armor and both main and offhand weapons/items. Cap ranked (reg to ranked) and reg- then convert ranked to reg once you hit 60 and have used up all your reg coms.
  16. It does. 18sec CD-->15sec CD Cast time is way too long though. Ionized Ignition and Adrenaline Fueled are the two broken discipline passives. The latter is far more serious.

    Is this a joke

Yeah...that cannon is pretty oped, but seeing how many stuns and anti-stuns other mega-oped classes currently have cancels out your complaint.
  20. Unless you play a stealth class- you should not bother.
  21. Nothing new really. Guardians have ALWAYS been OPed.
  22. I just bought the blue one. Thank you. I'm dirt poor again...but it's all good.
  23. Anyone selling one? LTB. 1mil let me know
