  1. hated Qyzen. Trying to be a light side jedi and when I give some kids some creds all of a sudden it's -30. Stupid lizard.
  2. I don't really see it being needed however when they impliment the legacy system I can see it being implimented with people wanting to make generations. for instance you could get a smuggler up to level 50 and have his kids be like Han and Leia's kids, both Jedi though each different so the smuggler could have two kids, one who becomes a JK and another who becomes a JC or for added fun, one that became a JK and another that became a SW.
  3. I quite agree that the bi option is fair for everyone and as you said, everyone's Kira is different just as everyone's Kailyo, Doc, Mako and so on. It's not their main sexuality but it is more your character's sexuality.
  4. Yeah my bountyhunter has a purple grade 3 tech gift waiting for Mako and a few courting items. Mako is over 4k affection atm so it's a pain just waiting. Havn't done any more as I don't wish to leave Balmorra and do her missions on Nar Shaddar yet. I agree that some characters seem that they could be bth ways. Kailyo is a big tease when you meet her. Both males and females one of the first things she says is "watch me walk away and I'll watch you" as well as gaining affection when I said I wasn't interested in another guy. It's not just me as other people have pointed out her personality could be leaning that way, but unfortunatly nothing has been done about her going that way.
  5. oh I didn't know that, awesome post I'll enable that immediately
  6. again this is a idea from CoH/V that I would love to see implimented. When hitting level 50 there was no need for xp so you usually recieved double cash, however it was more traditional with gaining money when defeating opponents, not selling the junk they often drop.
  7. i totally agree. will be great if you have several items in the market and you happen to get sales whilst doing space missions. Far easier and makes sense +1
  8. I'm not sure how feasable this is, but when crafting it does include the items on the ship. I'm suggestion when you send one of your idle companions on a missions to gather items (either components for crafting or companion gifts) that you have the option to have it all get deposited in your storage on the ship instead of your invintory. This way you don't have your personal inv being filled with components when far away from the ship. Again I don't know if that's plausable and you will still gain stuff when you collect it whilst on a planet but I mean generally for those who go on scavening missions. Eitherway it would be a nice feature, if that's possible.
  9. An interesting idea, especially if they are both levle 50s and it's great for roleplaying terms and even fanfiction too
  10. Well it seems that part it okey for the straight side, however that quote was in response to SGRA. Again, it's just me speculating. I hope that it is 2a and not 2b because as one poster said, I would've wasted time having the character sitting there on Ballamore rarther than continuing the missions and heading to Nar Shaddar.
  11. i quite agree with this option. Personally I wouldn't use it, however I can see why someone would like to use it. We have the option for our own characters so why not our companions?
  12. i totally agree, it's a great idea! that's something I loved about CoH was the fact you could help lower levels gain levels or those who were sligtly too weak for missions to be brought up to around your level. I totally support this.
  13. you'd think that buy from this quote Wittand got from Stephen Reid: The line where he says "unlocked" for a exsisting companion makes me curious if it is indeed option 2a that is being done, but they have no yet placed the dialog properly to apply to launch as of yet. however that could be me looking too much into it.
  14. I hope there's more interest or otherwise this will dissappear.
  15. imo the inter-species thing could be done like with the elves in the DA universe where the child is half-human yet they still look elven. That's my suggestion for inter-species and with same sex we have artifical insemination in this day and time, though with their technological advancements both parents could be the genetic parent. I do love the idea of the Legacy system and would love to see it implimented. A friend of mine thought it already was but seems I'm right saying that it hasn't been added yet. Since I havn't cast my revote I'm not sure about option 3 or 2a. I'll have to re-read some posts to understand it.
  16. Yeah can be frustraiting with adding several friends to the list when they're all the exact same person. I really did love CoH, but when money got tight I had to drop something. I wasn't too much of a vertan, but I was around since Issue 6 where they made CoV and really enjoyed it. Maybe something like appear invisable to this person rarther than ignore if you really don't want someone to know about all your alts or something but still wish to talk to them on your terms.
  17. From the quote: It seems as if it's option 2a, but I'm not sure as they also say that it's not apromise it'll happen, but they'll take our feedback upon it's possibility. The first line is my main focus though about relationships being "unlocked" for an exsisting companion, but agian I could be reading too much into this and getting my hopes up high.
  18. Yeah I can see the big problems with having to record all new dialog not only for romancable companions, but also the voices of the characters you play as too so yes it is a bit of a pipe dream, especially if done as my suggestion, if they were to do theme quests like in all other MMOs. Someone did say about how actors often have big gaps that can be easily filled with voice acting, which is believeable as a experienced voice actor will probably not need to take many takes and be done the same day, but again I don't really know the process of these things and all I can do is speculate and it could just be my sappy side that would like to see a star wars equivilent to the kissing town in The 10th Kingdom.
  19. nice name btw, based off of Quantum Leap? On the subject, what do you think of the idea? Good idea or useless?
  20. i second, back to topic. I personally hope BW ignore the flame wars that sometimes ignite in these threads and understand that we're just hopeful to hear more info on the SGRA release and info on it's implimentation. I hope some of the very good ideas here has given bioware's development team some great ideas. this is a lame idea of mine, but here is goes. There could always be a planet that celebrates a festavel of love to take the companion you have a romantic connection to on a "date" so to speak. I know this idea sounds very cartoony and doesn't fit in the world of star wars for as much knowledge I have of the star wars, but that could be a interesting place to host events for say valentine's day in febuary.
  21. sorry no idea where the suggestion box is admittidly. I hope the Devs can move the thread for me.
  22. This is a feature that was in my first and favourite MMO, City of Heroes/Villains. Basically you could add someone in game as a friend (say a friend in real life or something) and be able to message them no matter what server or side they were on. I'm not sure how well this could be implimented into the MMO template as the ones cryptic studios use appears to be different, but then again I'm not a programer so I don't know the limits, but it would be a great feature to have. I know that you can't mail to people on the other side (republic to imperial or vise versa) so again I'm not sure how it could be implimented but last time I played CoV, I couldn't trade with heros neither whilst on villain side (there was a neutral ground in the game for villains and heroes to meet in a non-combat way), but I'm getting off topic. I'm curious what your thoughts are on a global friends/ignore system. The ignore would work the same, only with every character that person makes so you can never get heckled by someone with multiple characters. Personally I have found no need for the ignore button and everyone in the community has been great, but that's just me.
  23. I love the idea of a gift callled "A New Hope" and especially love the name as a nice throwback to the movie that helped us all first discover Star Wars. I would love the idea to do that as it would reset the companions missions so you can re-do them. Sure it might be a pain and if you're level 50 it'll be tedious but still, it's for the companion to start a romance. I too have sheelved my bounty hunter pre-Nar Shaddaa because I have grown rarther fond of her and I felt quite annoyed that my bounty hunter couldn't romance her just because I happened to choose a female and not a male. Really bites.
  24. That doesn't make sense...surely they should be able to.
