  2. 16 would be amazing, though probably a bit TOO much to expect haha I'd just be happy with at least 10. 12 would be a great sweet spot IMO.
  3. Yeah, I was just about to comment on that too. I actually check fairly often as I'm an avid LEGO Collector/MOC builder and the later release this year for Star Wars LEGO has a listing for both a Fury Interceptor and a Talon Fighter, which are both ToR timeline items. So we might be seeing something already, but there's no images, etc yet so we'll have to wait and see.
  4. It's unfortunate that you started with Shadow, as from what I've seen it's one of the weaker storylines alongside the BH arc. However, even saying it's "weak" isn't entirely fair because it still has some great moments. But the JK arc is probably THE best arc in the game alongside IA. Trooper/SI/SW are all great too, so both factions have awesome stories. Generally the Empire stories start out with a big bang and either stay level or dip a bit with the exception of the IA. While the Republic tends to start out pretty tame and will generally build up to a pretty epic conclusion, with the exception of that being the Consular arc overall. This is my own observations mind you coupled with the people I play with, so please don't take it as me saying this is law But you may want to give the other Republic arcs a try. The Smuggler story in particular has actually made me LOL pretty hard a few times and it's nice that you can actually make choices that are so slick or sleazy depending on how you want to play it I enjoy being the underdog, even with the frustrations it can cause in PvP at times - Republic can feel a bit empty though, but - I don't regret the choice to play Republic. I've found a stronger community [no offense to the Empire - I play there as well but I've just run into so many more annoying people, which comes with the "larger" population territory] then I do playing Republic. Just my experiences. Agree 100% on the Fleets though. Ours is just way too yellow <.<
  5. Greyfield, your math needs some work. And thanks for suggesting I have more time on my hands then is healthy, which is not the case. I simply am thinking forward, since my main is played with my g/f and I tend to fuss with character projects, especially given both the story elements per class and the legacy system perks coming down the pipe. If you figure 1 of each AC + 1 of each class per faction, that's 16 characters. Granted, I think 10 or even 12 slots would probably be MORE then enough, but if you're doing 1 of each story arc, this leaves you no room for any other ACs within a given class as you're now capped out. Case in point, a couple extra slots would probably be more then reasonable and thus why I posted a suggestion/request for consideration. Simple
  6. IF you are playing one faction only If you are doing 1 of each storyline [8 minimum - 4 repub, 4 imp] and then also want to dabble with various ACs, this is 9+ It's merely a request for consideration since I know I'm not the only one who's been talking about it. Again, it's not a make or break thing, but it seems like we could easily bump up to 10 slots for a little more wiggle room w/o it affecting anything negatively
  7. I agree with this as well - I'm excited for the Legacy content but considering all this stuff is cosmetic, limited re-customizations should be enabled so that people can take advantage of these changes w/o being forced to re-roll. This actually also ties in to another problem with only 8 slots per server too - with all the potential features coming up for character choices/stories, etc I think we could use a couple extra slots >.> I hope the devs will confirm the legacy system and how it will affect existing characters so we have an idea of what to expect.
  8. Aloha, I figure that while the game is still very fresh and it's not likely we've maxed out 8 characters at 50, I do believe Bioware should give consideration to upping the amount of character slots per server. 8 may seem like a good amount but when you consider that if you do 1 of each storyline, this WILL max your character slots out for a server, and that doesn't even take into account that many of us will play 1 of each AC for a given class. I love my Commando, but I've been wanting to fuss around with a Vanguard. Which I can't do because I have names saved for each of the storylines, meaning I cannot work on a Vanguard unless I go to another server, which defeats the point of hanging out with friends/questing with new faces on my current one. Again, I don't think it's a doomsday issue at all, but I don't think giving say, 10 slots per server would be that difficult either and would give a bit more room for people to play around with character types Thanks for reading! PS: I did a quick search and didn't see a similar thread, but if I missed one my apologies!
  9. Really? Last I checked when I was in WoW, my weapons, horns and tail still clip horribly through half of my gear on my Tauren Hunter. They managed the impossible feat though right? >.>
  10. Clearly, you know all about the amount of work that went into the game as is and thus can call them out for laziness instead of picking and choosing what things to focus on and what things to save time with that REALLY don't affect or hurt the gameplay in the long run. If you're upset over "same" spaceports, you have my sympathies as most games must be a colossal disappointment in general for you.
  11. You clearly are still missing the point. VO does matter, and even more so how those 'unique' races you are quoting interact with the custom crafted stories needs to be taken into account. If you want even more proof, all you have to do is look at the clipping issues that still plague the Miraluka for example and then imagine something like a Rodian or Nautolan wearing similar gear. Twi'lek technically don't have proper headgear options yet either. I'd agree they want to hold stuff back for content/xpacks, but I would also say calling it "laziness" is unfair and shortsighted.
  12. It clearly has nothing to do with potentially having to modify story arcs, romances and adjusting how gear fits either right? No, it's all laziness. Couldn't be they went with a safe set of races before adding more unique ones down the road. Do you even think about the stuff before you post it? >.>
  13. Yeah, every Republic story outside of Smuggler does start out rather...tame. But so far I've loved the ramp-up on them. Trooper is getting really intense and the snippets I've seen of the JK one, especially considering one of his companions after reading Revan, it'll be pretty insane by the end. Empire is fun though - playing Light Side Sith Warrior with your Master being who he is? Man that causes some hilarity IA is the story arc Empire side I'm most interested in though.
  14. Both of these are open to interpretation. Currently, the Empire has the upper hand but that can definitely swing in Republic's favor at anytime. Point 2 is the bigger one I want to respond to - I agree that many of the Jedi show being set in their ways, but we saw with Revan and Malak before their fall that being a Jedi doesn't mean being a cloistered monk. Generally I've always preferred the philosophy that Luke embodied after he became the leader of the new Jedi Order. It wasn't so much about always suffocating your emotions as much as using them to support order and peace when possible but not being afraid to cram your lightsaber in someone's head if they were threatening things. Bioware created a good dichotomy IMO in which the Jedi Order shows reluctance to act because of all that's happened while as players on the Republic side, you can challenge that and take on the role of a much more pro-active Jedi which IMO, makes the story get more fun
  15. Dooku's sith name wasn't half bad at least Darth Tyrannus.
