  1. Don't forget until they update they have to be opposite sex too
  2. Yeah this has been bugging the hell out of me, I assumed it to be a bug when it happened again today and the companion didn't say anything along the lines of "I wish to talk to you" but now thanks to this thread I know it really is a bug. Maybe this should be reported to the mods or do they already know?
  3. I find if I'm unsure what choice will make Kailyo happy (she's picky sometimes, or I just don't understand her. she's an enigma.) I make one choice then as soon as I seen a negative I press the escape key which takes me right out of the conversation to restart again where I can make the proper choice
  4. Well I was sceptical about the classes when I first started the game, however I found the story itself for both the agent and the bounty hunter class to be very involving to a point I was like "I don't care if I'm not a force user", means I can stick it to the man and having people bow to you calling you "lord" every five minutes gets annoying too. the imperials give you respect if you're a agent because even though you don't have force powers you have done amazing things. You are the type of person called in to do the subtle work a force-user can't do. I can't see a sith warrior entering a base by using espionage type of ways to get inside a facility. With the bounty hunter I felt a lot more freedom to take whatever light/darkside choice I wanted since I was my own man/woman who was travelling to distant worlds, collecting bounties and proving myself. Also it's very fun to take on a Jedi whilst a sniper due to the amount of damage I can rack up.
  5. That line is actually why I made a male Jedi Knight. To choose the "right" gender since they havn't implimented same-sex flirting and relationships yet.
  6. Ahh well I don't remember much about DA2. One thing that shows me how much is fails is I can remember EVERY major event from DAO, but DA2 I could barely remember the main character's name before you told me. It was sooo lax, though I think bioware got the message. Back to the current debate, I have no problem with flirting with some same gender non-companions but certainly not all. There are always going to be people who are either going to be straight, gay, bi or lesbian and they're not all going to be bi. It'll be nice for a little equality but as I've said already on the subject only certain people, not everyone and certainly not every NPC.
  7. I believe Khem is non-romancable companion so not likely
  8. I don't remember that many bi-sexual characters. Only two I can think of are Zevran and Lelianna, which it made sense. I certainly didn't find a huge populatiion being bi. For instance: I've had to look up online to see what companions I get due to my badluck of choosing female character's whose first companions are also female (except for Khem, who isn't romancable anyway). I also made a male character and wouldn't you know it, his first companion is a guy too Terrible bloody luck there, but oh well. I was thinking of making my second republic character a trooper but this time I checked up the companions online to find that the first companion is also a guy. however arguments about the gender thing being said, I do see what the developer's vids said about feeling for the characters, which is something that I felt strongly in DA and ME where I actually cared for the characters and wanted to bring them on every mission. I think the same-sex thing should only fit the character, not because we want it to fit which might cause a problem as looking at the list some classes only have 2 romancable characters (1 male and 1 female) so it'll be a challenge. Perhaps we'll get same-sex relationships at the same time they bring us more companions either those companions being same sex or some pre-existing ones being bi or same-sex.
  9. It's a interesting idea for marriage. Not certain how it could be worked into game mechanics though like what do you get a marrige certificate as a item? A home? If a home did appear then I know gamers would then want NPC children and now that in itself sounds incredibly hard to do, though I am not a programmer myself. Perhaps a fully voiced cut-scene where the pair of you get married with either just your companions or your friends attending, which could be entertaining with dialog options open. It seems like a bit of a streach in my opinion, but who knows what'll happen in the future. It's only just started out afterall.
  10. unfortunatly I've not gotten that far in the game, though I can see the problem there where you don't want your character to romance her, yet it seems like she's almost basically rubbing up against you . I've only not run into it because due to my luck I happen to make characters the same sex as companions, which the romance between same genders is not possible yet, as a post I found online states it'll be possible sometime "post launch" though that could be anytime between a few weeks to a few months. That's my only gripe so far that I can't flirt with Kailyo or Mako.
