  2. In both AP and Pyro you have 1 white damaging attack. Excluding rapidshots.
  3. I'm not a big fan of this idea. Mainly becuase shoulder cannon is a huge part of burst in both dps specs.
  4. If PTs were to all get jet charge there would be basically no "exclusiveness" to any melee class. I agree with what koozie said 100%. I think a set bonus change is the right direction. Not to say that pvpers will run that set bonus with the current bolster but, what about a 15% crit chance to flame burst/ion pulse for the 2 piece and 4 piece stays the same.
  5. I am going to agree here, an average dps should be able to stalemate a healer and a good dps should be able to kill one. Then again it truly matters on skill, a good dps and a good healer in a fight the dps should evenutually win. AP only has that burst every time shoulder cannon and explosive fuel is up.
  6. They are going to have to buff some sort of damaging ability to help with PVE dps, there is pretty much no way around it. Powertech Pyro's dps in PVE is just too low to buff it through Set bonus' and rearranging abilities. I doubt they will buff the PT's IM damage and not the Mercs. Who knows at this point? lol. Don't yell at me for this lol but, What if they Decrease the damage on Charged burst but buff different areas of pyro like the CGC dot. So then both Merc Pyro and Powertech Pyro will be at the same level with out having to buff a certain ability for each advanced class. Its not a bad idea if you think about it. Tell me if I am being unreasonable. I just want to see the class succeed.
  7. I agree with your statement that PT's are in a good place in pvp right now. I was talking about this with my friends last night on how merc pyro is destroying PT pyro in dps. Its b/c of the charged shot, if flame burst were able to hit that hard AND have a 15% crit chance set bonus to it, I think PT's would be in a good spot then.
  8. It does not hit as hard as you think. I get 1000+ ticks when targets go below 30%. The amazing part about Superheated Rail is that when Railshot hits a burning target it procs it. Before 2.0 that is where the burst came from, every time you hit someone for 6k in a raid or 5k in pvp you basically did an extra 1000 damage. And having a chance to not proc your CGC off of flameburst stinks and it kills the dps. Its very annoying when it doesn't proc off of flame burst. The dot damage for CGC is pathetic compared to what it used to be. Sometimes I feel like Bioware is making this class a lethality op with heavy armor. Yes I understand it is a DOT class but do you really want the classes to run together. Once you load up to the dots they are in danger of being cured. Killing your burst horribly. Before 2.0, A PT on my server ran full 31 spec pyro and was topping the dps boards across the world. The dot damage is nice but you can only apply it every 15 seconds. PT's are not as good as people say they are in PVP. They have their strengths like bursting down a healer, but only every 2 mins or when you can get good crits. The class does not have the burst like any other class as of right now. I respect your opinion of what PT's are right now and where they are at. I'm willing to help with anything that will help the class. I just want the spec to be very good again.

  10. Could we see some changes to dot damage within the Pyro tree? I personally think TD should not have a dot and return its regular damage. With the of buffing CGC damage along with flamburst damage increase to put in line with Merc Pyro. I want to see the PT return to its former glory. It has to be my favorite class in the game since launch with and EW Powertech and EW Vanguard. This is pretty big Christmas list lol but, how could we help PVE dps.
  11. What reputation? We are just a bunch of guys who have nothing better to do than do warzones all day. A lot of Goof Troop has toons on other servers such as Bastion and Pot5 where pvp is very competitive. You're more than welcome to play against us over there. When we play on Harbinger it's because we want to play with our friends.
  12. 1. I'm central time but I get about 73 MS 2.Pubs win about 95% of warzones 3.Pub pugs are pretty good with warzones. The are also pretty good with Ops. Imps on the other hand have better progression in Ops but dont have the patience of the pubs do with wiping. I don't do flashpoints so i can't speak there. 4.The Imps are obviously the best faction for PVE progression guilds. Many world firsts are from them. 5.Pubs are the best for PVP hands down 6. Mass Manips are about 350-400k, Iso-5 is about 80-90k
  13. I noticed the same thing on my Powertech too. The running animation out of combat with 1 pistol classes looks a little different to me. Did I miss something in the patch notes?

  15. I think if you put a slow on the op while they are trying to roll (like they intended).
  16. Just curious as to what everyone likes to run with their set bonuses. I play all 3 specs and like to use the 2 piece enforcer set bonus for the extra second of evasion. I didnt really think the extra 5 energy was useful. For my other 2 piece set bonus I run the field medic for the extra 10% shielded by shield probe. I didnt really find my self using orbitals as much so I didnt take the extra 3 seconds. What do you guys like to run?

    Operative Healing

    The hots on the class are pretty absurd. I have both a healing op and sawbones scoundrel. You barely need to cast anything on the move. Unlike the Sage and mando have to sit there and take it. The funny thing is I feel its overpowered and I play the class.
  18. marras and sents are biowares golden child they want you to lose to them. This is true b/c they get buffed almost everypatch.
  19. I was just wondering this my self. Some of the War Hero gear looks pretty cool but you have to grind your valor rank to be able to wear it which stinks. Maybe they will remove the valor requirement.
  20. We hit like a wet noodle. It does not matter the skill of the player. Pyro is useless in ranked now.
  21. Average rail shot is about 6k the average smash is about 8.5k.
  22. Okay fair enough, I just did not see how pyro was overpowered pre 2.0. The Squishiest class that I can think of. It relied on one thing burst. That was pyros defensive cool down was their burst. Sure right now we can pull good numbers in PVP. We cant kill anything. Unlike a mara, sniper or jugg or in some cases a sorc. Don't even get me started with PVE. Operatives just laugh at us as we chase them around with our weak*** dot. Try and burst down a good healer. No healer should ever stalmate a dps.
  23. If you played pyro you would know how broken the spec is. It is pathetic. From your posts it does not sound like you play a vanguard or powertech. It sounds like you were making "nerf powertech" threads since launch. There is no burst in the class. Oh yeah thats right we have our little 10m tickle bomb.
