  2. lol 'while approaching target' With what gap closer? With what movement speed buff? There's 26 feet of room in between you and them, when you need to pistol whip them after a shrap bomb and vital shot.

  12. gs has way more problems and limitations than scoundrel does. The grass is not greener, especially if youre looking to pvp. they're by far the most limited pvp class and the worst at it versus geared opponents due to how defense scales against accuracy

  17. I'm sure scoundrels are enjoying doing 250 damage per gcd with the ranged autoattack. What's your point? droid is good but does no more damage than project which doesnt require cover and is buffed further by your trees. snipe is garbage unless you want to get rid of your energy as fast as possible, since you cant talent it to scale well (we arent snipers). But you're right, operatives get cover. that's awesome.
  18. 1) Players hate the operative burst opener, so the devs are nerfing it. If after the nerf, it's still 'annoying' to players, they'll likely continue to nerf it as it's the reason they've begun to nerf it in the first place. 2) you ignore how scoundrels, if caught out of stealth (or pulled out of stealth) are free kills. They are also free kills if you survive or pull yourself out of their opener. They do not have to tools outside of stealth to do what a melee class should be able to do to continue or survive a sustained fight. 3) if their role is to be a bursty out-of-stealth rogue, the devs and players have shown no support for this role in pvp. It's been given bad feedback from nearly everyone and it will likely be reworked (similar to how rogues were reworked in WoW to be sustained agile melee brawlers). Problem is, assassins/shadows already have that role. If the scoundrels are made to be agile melee brawlers, they need the tools and survivability to be on a similar footing as the assassin AC. This is what the devs have to focus on as they decrease the effectiveness of the operative's only dps role (burst). Making dirty fighting viable is a good start. As it is now, they are made useless with one cheap cleanse. Having no anti-dot-removal mechanics in the game for specs that rely 100% on dots is bad design and makes the spec useless against players who know how to use their tools.

  20. They have better sustained damage, can do 4k crits outside of stealth on geared opponents (project), have boatloads more utility (aoe knockback, aoe taunt, sprint, finisher move, RANGED stun), and better defensive cooldowns. Do scoundrels/operatives have these things?
  21. Shadows/assassins get SPRINT, aoe knockback, taunts, RANGED stun, sustained damage, and a finisher! Operatives/Scoundrels have NONE of these, and get nothing in return. They've just got stealth, a MELEE stun, an aoe mez that gives everyone 800 resolve, and higher initial burst (for the next 2 days). Not to mention shadows/assassins have WAY better defensive cooldowns even while dps specced.
