  1. For instance, let us take for example the WH Force-mystic Gloves and the WH Force-Master boots. Because the armoring is the same for both we are looking at these two pieces for mod/enhanc cannibalization. Both items offer the same amount of surge and the boots offer a 9 endurance (90 health) increase which in all intensive purposes doesn't really effect the purchase. The gloves offer you an increase of 13 willpower(wp) and loss of 8 power(p) compared to the boots. when we break this down into math we get that 13wp X .30=3.90 dmg increase and 8p X .33=2.64 decrease. This doesnt take into account the crit you would be gaining from the willpower. This means that unless your power gain is at +12(3.90 dmg ) power is being overshadowed by willpower. In conclusion willpower will always exceed in benefits over power unless the amount of power exceeds past the dmg increase of Willpower and the addition of Crit that willpower produces.. Sorry if this is all confusing, its 420.
  2. i am under the impression that willpower adds to not only your dmg but your crit. with power being a dmg multiplier at a rate of .33 and willpower having a dmg multiplier of .30 , and with most mods/enhancements favoring willpower over power, if you wanted to benefit wouldn't you have to make sure the power overshadows willpower to the point where the addition of crit is minimal?
  3. I've thought about making an alt and have decided to go with a Commando trooper. I'll be leveling solely through PvP/class quest. What pvp leveling builds do you guys recommend? I was thinking of going combat medic but Im not sure at what lvls combat medic becomes viable? What do you guys think?

  5. So you said that your prioritize surge>power>crit but with the new nerfs to surge how does this change your stat prioritizing? I always Played with a priority of crit>power>surge but your justification seems very sound but the surge nerf Concerns me.
  6. You guys have definitively intrigued me on the idea of the kinetic build. So your recommendation is to spec tank yet get dps gear? is this viable?
  7. Well I'm not really asking what i should do, but more of your opinions and experiences to help me decide. I've Tanked abunch of FPs and i like the survivability in pvp from the tank spec, but I've leveled (and therefor know more about) infiltration and the ability to burst someone down so fast is so appealing. So yea, all I'm asking for are your opinions. I have enough of a mind to make my own decision.
  8. So I'm really close to getting to 50 and I'm having a troubling time on deciding Spec. I played Infiltration 10-50 but now that lvl 50 pvp/pve is on the way i dont know what to do. Here is the dilemma. I want a spec that is focused on PvP, however i will still be planing on doing PvE so i dont really want to respec. So before i start grinding out on one specific type of gear (DPS vs Tank) i want some insight on which i should go for. My PvP Tank spec is : http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#601ruMokrskrsZZf0cM.1 My PvP DPS spec is : http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#601bZhGbRkhrbtzZf0c.1 (would consider moving 2 in Double Bladed Saber Defence to Security Breach) Also i never considered going Balance, but i hear it just got buffed and if someone could explain/sell me on it i would love their opinion. THNX! =)
  9. So what do you guys think? Which class lvls better/faster and which one has better end game/pvp possibilities.
