Goof Troop is the competitive Republic PvP guild this server needs, but not the one it deserves. I'd love to see it have its comeback. Make it happen, Cathulan. I believe.

I don't understand why you couldn't take the "all-galaxy" title seriously. That wasn't a tier 1 title given to those that got 1600+ rating, that was given to those that scored top 3 in their class for their advance class. To win trade for that would take a very very long time. Those that got their victorious gear and whatever title came with tier 1 is laughable (not to mention the gear was lol bad.) But Bw won't do anything to win-traders. They won't use the same resources that they used to fine the exploiters to find ill gotten ratings (when they're clearly displayed on the leader boards. Does anyone think that someone could get 1650+ in a night or two and stop queuing all together?) People don't openly talk about win traders, except those that are ranked players and want to actually play competitive teams, and that seems to be a small minority of players. Also BW failed very hard with punishing the exploiters. They barely took any actions if at all, and just wanted to appease the masses and "right a wrong". I wouldn't want to see how they would "punish" the win traders. Might give them extra cartel coins and credits like they did with some of the exploiters.

Like I said, I envy you. Still goes on to this day. I want a server with no drama... But then I wouldn't be allowed there.

Obviously you haven't seen some of the drama being thrown around recently regarding a few "PvP" guilds. I envy you for that, though. Ignorance is bliss.

Regarding you looking for a guild to do either solo queue or group queue in ranked - and not to sound like a Debby downer - you won't find many that'll be willing to take a DPS operative/scoundrel. They can work in solo queue if the other team doesn't focus you, but unfortunately they're lack luster still in a 4v4 group environment. Much like a sentinel or DPS merc. I'm not saying it couldn't work (self cleanse with the intense amount of DoTs around would be a good utility), but not many people are willing to try and form a team with a scoundrel DPS. Best of luck to you, though.

When in my post did I complain about them never giving us anything? I said that they don't care about their system being abused in PvP, yet will oblige to ban PvErs that use an exploit that's to the same extent the exact same as win trading. (Hence why I put the bracketed part in there.)

I never said it was about kill trading, it's about walking into a set instance (4v4 arena) and abusing the queue with the other team to acquire ill gotten items. It's just the same as this exploit but requires slightly more work. It's hypocritical and yet they've never gotten banned. Also I never said I was angry, just upset at the fact that they bend to the whim of PvErs when they all cry about this exploit "ruining progression" when the ranked PvP exploit ruined group ranked (I.E queue dodging) and nothing was done about it.

While I am happy that Bioware is taking actions to exploiters, I do find this rather hypocritical since many others have risen the points about the blatant abuse of the ranked PvP system. Season 1 people exploited to get their rancors, and nothing was done to them. Season 2 people did the same without any bans or items taken away. Season 3 people still abused the ranked pvp system and win traded to acquire their walkers. And yet still they have all these exploited items in their grasp. Bioware says that they have all this information regarding people who used the exploit and how many times, yet you'd think they'd have the same information regarding 4v4 group ranked and how long a game goes on, how frequently a player queues and how a lot of people got 15 (give or take) wins in group ranked, got above 1650 and stopped. On a multitude of characters. (There is also evidence we as players can see regarding the leaderboards, people who just sky rocket to 1650 rating in a mater of hours and disappear without ever being seen in the queue again.) Just makes me upset to see that the ranked PvP community is either so small that these things can go through the cracks, or that Bioware would rather cater to the larger group of players (PvErs) because they make a louder fuss. Or they just don't care about PvP (but that's being a tad cynical.)

Martian is god. He is the butter to my toast. I wish he'd come back. I miss the **** out of that amazing guy. That hybrid was unbeatable. I remember a 8v8 novare during 8v8 ranked where Deltus and him fought for like a good 10 mins on the off node and they couldn't kill each other. Good times.

A few holes in your argument here Bator. 1. Solow never does regs. To see him in there is like spotting a Sasquatch. I think it'd be easier to see a Sasquatch than Solow in regs. 2. You seem to be forgetting that you started that **** talking to her in regs, emoting to her and tunneling her. Than proceeded to get the dick in ranked and had the same treatment given to you. Are you hearing that from the tank/heals/2 dps premades that run around, or in general? Cause Trixy could out dps any "friends" that run tryhard premades in Wrath Of Xonquest. Also the claws are out fellas. Get the baby pool and mud, we got a chick fight!

To interject here with glads comment, I do respect them for attempting to form teams and queue. It's nice to see people wanting to experience and learn how to do ranked 4's. However, when given certain tips and helpful advice to better their advances against higher end ranked players they don't listen and just continue to get frustrated and not queue. They aren't bad, but they could be a hell of a lot better if they stuck it out in the queues and didn't quit after 2-3 games and get passive aggressive. Or heightened their expectations with players they bring into ranked. As they would say though: "Thank you for the games."

Aren't you contradicting yourself here since you seem to be a reg star? I've never seen you do ranked throughout all of season2 (I don't even know who your toons are tbh) and the only reason I see to play regs is to have fun with friends (you know, not taking it super cereal) or to face roll some people. So unless you're a regstar you explained why people do regs in a nutshell. If you think vangaurds and hybrid sages are "optimal" for 4's you need to get into and actual 4's game and try it out. The meta is a lot different than "imma tab dot everrytang and fluff dps." They can do good but with decent comps that have good hard swapping the sage is a squishy detriment and the vanguard can't carry all the burst. You'd know this if you actually queued up for 4's. Solo queue on the other hand is all luck based. Do they have smart competent dps and or heals/tank? If so, you better pray your team can rotate their cooldowns and counter their CD's. The last few posts in this thread after Cambria posted all reek of regstars that seem upset at WoX:rolleyes:

Where's the love for the ranked players? Akiva, Ufo, hawkey'e, Wes, So'op (akivas operative), Jtari. Those are only a few that come to mind atm but they do deserve some respect/credibility.
