i'm completely against anything to do with WOW. but to provide "hard" evidence, and then say they have average experience, did all this on paper, did not add into the different types of stats/armors/mods/etc just makes the arguement invalid. there is no core evidance, and i have yet to see this terrible offhand damage, i was under the impression from the last Every game that has dual wielding that the offhand had ****** damage... it's not news and it doesn't break the class. what breaks the class are its shotty companions, multiple armor bugs plus all the other bugs, uninteresting looking armor, and lack of offensive force powers that make you feel anything less then a jedi. BUT at the same time everyone needs to seriously QQ and wait it out because its been out a WHOLE MONTH... -.-

you no they arent fixing any of these problems because they are all ************* over mass effect 3 right? lol watch.. im gonna get it and ill put money on this, that the first armor i see in ME3 will be a guy with ****** knight armor with a hood down....

okay first of all, this is PVE not PVP so no **** you get tossed around in pvp. wasn't talking about PVP at all, and if youre pommel strike does more then your lightsaber....try uprgrading it...or getting a new one lol and for your second paragraph i have no idea what you're talking about lol. i get what you're saying but i dont see how it applies to what i was saying at all.

this arguement is invalid because there is no combat log, and that these "percentages" which are wrong... are also paper and pencil percentages which also makes them invalid and yet again wrong. i have spoken -.-

first of all go back a second. why are you comparing a jedi guardian and a sentinel against each other in the first place? the reason the guardian does "more damage is because its not... you are going against a dps/tank class who wheres heavy armor and has better gear, stuns, taunts, interrupts, and abilities then you do... second of all, stop comparing sentinels offhand to the "offhand" of a tank class. "omg i can't do as much DPS with my offhand as that tank guy can with his"=? *** are you talking about? are there shield gens attacking you? no it just gives then stats that make them harder to kill obviously. you aren't doing less DPS you ding dong, they are just taking less damage from you because they OBVIOUSLY have the upper hand in almost every single way possible in this fight. and news flash, guardians CAN out DPS a sentinel, its not really that hard dude. terrible comparison with shotty evidence and theories to back them up, all this "on paper" crap is invalid. i dont see why you're saying this class is broken... they made the class this way... YES on purpose. soo i don't see the arguement other then you hate the way the did this class.

what point of "there is no combat log" do you not understand???? so are you seriously telling me you are literally, watching the floating numbers and comparing them with another persons floating numbers? are you mental? i think our main problem, and this is just my opnion, is that we have like no force powers...like legit powers, i dont even feel like a jedi its pathetic, we have no push or pull, no offensive attacks, i hate how if you want to use the force and be good with a light saber u pretty are shoved into the consular class....a jedi shadow? thats the dumbest class ever, the double bladed attacks (all like 4 of them) or terrible lol and your gear always loooks stupid

but also to your response, i guess i could agree a bit more to your statement, it is very low but it wont change, its all aboutthe rotations not the builds, thats why i love this game, everyone is approaching this game in the WoW perspective and thats exactly why everyone is saying alot of the classes are broken. alot of stuff is broken but its also meant to be approached differently. SWTOR isnt WoW. its Kotor on steroids..... now can i please play as a keldorian? or lol as an ithorian..... ^Expansion make it happen

see the REAL problem with this class is so obvious. SENTINELS SHOULD NOT HAVE DUAL SABERS, we should have gotten dual bladed sabers, but noooooo lol consulars get them instead, because bastila and satile really were shadows right? **** lore because its not even true lore. shadows should have dual and we should have double. it would have looked better, worked better, and i wouldnt have to be forced to look like a prom girl with a double *****.... any objections?

what other classes? lol first of all why are you comparing a JUG to a Sent? they dont use an offhand weapon, the shield generator isnt a weapon, nor does it cause damage.. its just for stats. second of all the only dual wielding classes that out dps us are ranged classes and thats not a surprise either. it isnt a secret that they out dps us. alll im hearing in the arguement is. "i hate that im not a fury warrior like in wow with titans grip and doing 900k damage a hit, its stupid that ranged classes that can shoot me dead from forty miles away can out dps me before i can get to them, the offhand should be perfectly scaled because i want it that way and like 5 other people do to cuz they dont no how to utilize a proper dps rotation" seriously QQ a bit more? the only TRUE problem with this class are its sucky *** companions and the fact that we aren't even jedi/sith because we get all of 2 force powers... and terrible looking gear, and a broken quest line. never has an offhand weapon been set two scale the other, including within other classes

let me just say that in almost EVERY game that has dual wielding involved, besides skyrim, the offhand damage is less then the main hand. it has always been this way and it is logical in the reality sense. breaking it down to whether ur dominate lefty or righty. this isn't news and i dont understand why everyone is complaining about it. like they never played an MMO before. its not that the class is broken, YOU are broken, its called a good DPS rotation, use one. and you should have no problem with dps. you shouldnt even be worrying about your offhand damage half the time because your rotation should make up for the slack.

Yeah see this is exactly why i haven't been able to choose between the two classes...they both suck completely. i agree with every word that everyone is saying. jedi=no force attacks basically? broken jedi=medium robes look no different then light robes except legs. broken jedi=companions are all broken and horrible. broken jedi=storylines are completely different and make you feel like theyare in seperate realms or something. stupid. jedi-ending awesome but kinda hard to build an expansion onto that isn't it? rushed. jedi=one girl companion but sith get two? stupid jedi= setinels cant wear heavy armor but were lead on that way. jerks jedi= jedi knights are the masters of lightsaber combat but can't use a double bladed lightsaber? really lorebreakingly stupid. jedi=broken let me stop there with that. why did you guys do that? if anything, a stealth shadow would have dual wielding and a jedi sentinel would have double bladed. i dont unerstand why they were switched.. sith=boring story. < sith=kill "him"- would never happen sith=revoiced NPC from Kotor- dont get me started sith=literally lift and grab ur saber/ OR oh so cool. you have one....thrown to you. soooo awesome, its not like we coulda used a cool...awesome lightsaber building cinematic....-.- stupid sith=jaesa is a psychopathic freak-she could chill a tiny bit sith=no hood and mask at same time? sith=broken ^fix

hahahaha, but seriously do we seriously have like NO force powers? because i am currently looking threw my abilities and i SWORE i had force pull somewhere, but i don't recall ever using it. ive been to busy on my BH lol we have that statis thing, lightsaber throw, and that thing where you throw wind at them or something and destroy their face, im talking offensive force powers btw

if kira (a jedi consular who barely if ever uses force powers) is doing more damage than you are then you are doing something wrong lol, especially if you are fighting one at a time

we don't get force pull as a jedi sentinel???? what? thats such ******** i like don't want to play this class anymore, everyday this class gets stupider and stupider, the only reason im not a marauder is i like the build ur lightsaber cinematic and i am totally not down with killing "HIM". and the story is awesome and has a more emotional ending. but this whole "your a jedi knight so we decided to give you..eh hem...no force powers, no doubled bladed lightsaber (but your still the mast of ALL lightsaber combat -.-), crappy offhand dps, no armored robes, terrible compaions, end game type of storyline ending (if hes dead wouldnt it all be over???), terrible outfits, terrible looking animations for atacks and stuns, and last but not least ONE female companion (the rest are all males with terrible stories and quests) who is the glitchiest thing in the game from what ive seen and been agreed with. this is getting ridiculus they shoudl scrap this whole class and redo it. same with jedi shadows, and all 5 melee attacks they get -.- hey EA and Bioware, this isn't mass effect so stop making classes like mass effect. you did kotor perfect, let us choose companions and stop restricting a JEDI to either force or no force, this isn't WoW you can't just expect everyone to be balance because you have 4 mirrored classes there that was my QQ for the evening
