  1. We definitely need the Togruta ASAP! The Cathar are cool enough, but the Togruta would be EPIC! Please don't keep us waiting long for this. It is a popular race. People would pay to unlock it. The end. . . . . . . . . . . . please
  2. Togruta definitely need to be added as the next playable race, no question. I wholeheartedly approve. So . . .um . . . Bioware get on that STAT!
  3. I've been waiting to play a Togruta Inquisitor and Togruta Consular since launch. Please make the Togruta playable! They are epic. The end.
  4. My top two are Dantooine and Dxun, though I'd love to see Kashyyyk as well. Dantooine The ancient enclave of the jedi, lost for hundreds of years has been rediscovered and houses ancient secrets and priceless artifacts for those brave enough to explore its treacherous depths. The force apparitions of long dead padawans and jedi masters unable to become one with the force haunt the enclaves halls harboring the secrets of the enclave's checkered past. Ancient puzzles and powerful holocrons await those with the ingenuity to find them and ancient jedi artifacts (gear, weapons, etc.) are just waiting to be excavated. For the jedi and the sith, the rediscovery of the enclave promises knowledge and power. For less reputable classes, bounty hunters and smugglers, the enclave promises great wealth, while the Republic and Empire, fight for control of the planet's surface pitting their best soldiers and operatives against each other for control of the enclave's secrets. Dxun Explore Dxun, brave the ancient Mandalorian proving grounds, and uncover the lost secrets of Freedon Nadd's Tomb. Learn the history of the jedi Exile and Mandalore the Preserver, fight vicious beasts, and face off against the toughest Mandalorians in the galaxy. Solve puzzles and collect powerful artifacts (unique gear, weapons, etc.).
  5. I was reading a post earlier about someone wanting the ability to switch factions in-game (i.e. have their light side sith train to become a jedi, etc.) and this idea for an expansion popped into my head. It would probably be a pain to implement, so I don't have high hopes for it, but here it is regardless: Note: This would have to be a post-50 or post-55 Expansion for it to even be remotely possible. I'd like to see a story arc where your toon infiltrates the opposing faction claiming to have defected and has the choice to either truly defect or work to bring the opposing faction down from the inside. I've seen similar stories with the npc's in game and I've always found them interesting. Besides, what Sith wouldn't jump at the chance to turn the Hero of Tython to the darkside or the Emperor's Wrath to the light or have an Imperial Agent spill all their secrets to SIS. For example, your Republic trooper could defect and join the Imperial commandos or work to bring the imps down from the inside. An Imperial agent could defect and join SIS or work to bring down the SIS from the inside. Sith could defect and train to be Jedi or subvert the Jedi. Jedi could defect and train to be Sith or subvert the Sith. Bounty Hunters & Smugglers could defect by selling their loyalty to the highest bidder. I think there are a lot of storytelling opportunities with an arc like this. For example: New Cross-Faction Companion Characters: Wouldn't it be cool if your Jedi could infiltrate the Sith Academy and walk away with a new padawan? I think it would be cool if each class had the opportunity to earn a new companion whose alignment could be altered based on your toon's choices (like Jaesa Wilsaam). A Sith joining the Jedi could lure a padawan or jedi master to the darkside and take them as their apprentice. Or convince a padawan/jedi master that they really do want to change and have them work to help you change the Empire from within (I know it sounds pretty similar to the Jaesa Wilsaam storyline, so if anyone has any better suggestions . . .). A jedi infiltrating the sith could lure an acolyte or sith lord to the lightside or join the sith and take a dark apprentice. There are a lot of possibilities. New Cross-Faction Romance Option: The new companions could also act as romance options (either heterosexual or same-sex depending on your toon and the companion's gender). Note: To streamline the expansion and make it easier to implement, you would defect alone, meaning you can't bring any of your companions with you (i.e. no need to bring in a ton of voice actors). Instead you would get a high level temporary companion (your handler or teacher), whose alignment can change based on your choice and will eventually become your permanent companion and possible love interest. For example, an Imperial agent who defects to the SIS will have an SIS handler whose job is to monitor and assist them while making sure their defection is genuine. The Imperial agent then has the opportunity to prove that their defection is legit or convince their handler to defect. To further streamline this story arc, all of these interactions could take place on a single contested planet (perhaps a new player area on Voss, where imps and pubs are sorta, but not really forced to get co-exist peacefully). To streamline it even more, you could do away with class specific companions and just have a single handler companion for all pubs and a single handler companion for all imps, whose alignment changes based on your toon's choices. --This would undermine some of the re-playability of the expansion, but make it easier to implement. Anyway, this would be a HUGE pain to implement either way, but I'd like to see the continuation of my toons' stories and this is one direction to take that could be fun.
  6. I'm a sucker for character customization so I second this wholeheartedly. We really need more customization options for non-humans & I like the hairstyle from the picture as well.
  7. I don't think it would work as a new class, but perhaps it could be implemented as a high level combat ability for consulars or inquisitors. Instead of throwing a light saber like a boomerang, the consular could telekinetic throw a backup/third saber that independently attacks an enemy npc for a short period of time like a probe.
  8. The Revanite side quests are some of my favorite side quests in the entire game and I always find myself wondering what happened to them after you left Dromund Kaas. Were they wiped out? Did they continue to work in secret? Did they reach out to the Republic? Does Revan ever interact with them? I think it would be interesting to add a new batch of content focusing on the Revanites's rise to power. Both Republic players and Imperial players would be able to interact with the Ravanites, either joining the order or working against it. Because of revelations during end game, it seems like this new content would be appropriate to add sometime before a player reaches level 50, perhaps this could be new content added around level 35 (around the slow crawl from 30-50). I now it is farfetched, but it is another idea that won't stop nagging me.
  9. I'm just throwing this idea out there, because it is one of the more interesting ideas I've seen in other MMO's recently and I think it could work with the lore of SWTOR. I know it will probably never happen, because it would be a pain to implement, but the idea won't quit bugging me. Add the Voss as both a playable race and class. Here's how I see it working: The Voss race would be purchasable from the cartel market or through the legacy system along with an unlock that allows you to explore new player areas on Voss (in order to purchase the Voss you would need to have a level 50 character in both factions/ Rebublic & Imperial). Unlike other races, the Voss would start out as a higher level character (High 30's-40's?) and would have a unique story focusing on the breakdown of Voss' neutrality. This unique, high level Voss would represent a force wielding class of its own independent of the Jedi or Sith--Perhaps it could be a force wielding, ranged weapon class. Your Voss will start out neutral and have interactions with both the Republic and Empire. By the end of the Voss origin, you will have acquired allies (imperial and/or republic depending on the choices you make) and be required to choose a faction to support: either the Republic or the Imperials. After you have selected a faction, the Voss' story will split in two. There will be unique quests for Voss who choose to align with the Republic and unique quests for Voss who choose to align with the Empire, all occurring alongside the existing SWTOR timeline of events on worlds such as Voss, Corellia, and Ilum. The Voss would also be able to participate in the Makeb and Section X storylines, etc. Finally, once you have completed the Voss storyline, you will be able to unlock the Voss race for other classes. Anyway, I imagine this would be nearly impossible to implement, but I find the idea of neutral class that must choose between supporting the Republic or the Empire fascinating & Lorewise, the Voss fit perfectly.
  10. I've been hoping for Togruta since shortly after the game launched, so consider this /signed.
  11. I would love to see these titles in game.
  12. Pretty much what the title says. I'd like to see an all black lightsaber crystal added to the game.
  13. I second this idea. I love the Fleshraiders' armor, especially the one from the second pic.
  14. I concur. It looks like they ate to many blackberries and it stained the corners of their mouth. Not attractive. Not scary. I think it would be great if we could choose the level of darkside corruption a character displays.
  15. I'd like to see the option to add player characters to a family tree as either a padawan or an apprentice. I also think it would be appropriate to add companion spouses to he family tree (Risha, Corso, Kira, Doc, etc., etc.), if the player completes their companion missions/fills out their affection and pursues a romance with them.
  16. Several people have been complaining about buying an item with the intention of dying it, only to realize it can't be dyed. One of the causes of this issue is that when they preview they can apply a dye to it. This is misleading and leads to a lot of frustration, especially when the item becomes bound before the consumer realizes it can't be dyed. To avoid confusion, non-dyable items should not preview as dyable.
  17. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was my favorite game as a kid and one of the few games I played over and over again. The story was great and the Revan reveal was awesome. The story of Revan is one of my favorite Star Wars stories of all time. The game was fun to play, as were its sequels. I'm a bit disappointed by how Bioware has chosen to honor one of the best Star Wars games ever made, but, considering they didn't have to honor it at all, I suppose I'll take what I can get (i.e. purchase). What I'm more interested in is how SWTOR plans to honor KOTOR and KOTOR II in the future. I love that they are releasing KOTOR and KOTOR II gear into the game and I hope they continue to do that, but I also hope for more KOTOR and KOTOR II inspired content. One thing I've been wondering as I play the Jedi storyline is what happened to the Exile's companions? How did they rebuild the Jedi order? Are they remembered? Do they have descendents? I was a big fan of Atton Rand and Visas Marr as a kid and I'm curious what role they and others played in shaping the world of SWTOR. It would also be cool to go back and visit the planets from the original games: Kashyyyk, Manaan, Dantooine, Oderon, and Dxun. I'd be especially excited to return to Dantooine and explore the ancient ruins of the Jedi. There seem like there could be a lot of story potential there for multiple classes. Smugglers going to Dantooine to trade in Jedi artifacts. Jedi's traveling there to recover lost Jedi knowledge. Sith traveling there to piece together Revan and Malak's origins. It just seems like Dantooine would be a great starting point for some new SWTOR content that pays tribute to KOTOR. I know its kind of a long shot to hope for these things, but I can be an optimist sometimes.
  18. Yes. I thoroughly want to see the aspiring jedi chestpiece or a variation of the chestpiece added to the cartel market with a dye slot. I'd really like to see it be able to be equipped on a consular. A hood-up version might also be cool.
  19. Don't judge me, lol. One of the things I really like about the Star Wars universe is all the crazy ornate hairstyles the women have. Since the cartel market is now adding new character customization unlocks, I'd like to see more ornate female hairstyles offered. Leia's Classic Look Padme's Side Buns (simple) Padme's Side Buns (ornate) Side Buns + Long Hair Thin Braids Across the Forehead Side Braid Braided Up-do Braided Up-do #2 Random Ornate Hairstyle #1 Random Ornate Hairstyle #2 Random Ornate Hairstyle #3 Random Ornate Hairstyle #4 Random Ornate Style #5
  20. I totally agree. It would most likely have to count as a headgear slot unless they were willing to add another slot. The other option is for them to create more relaxed gear sets that include jewelry. I'm all for adding more neck wear to the game -- scarves, necklaces, chokers, etc.
  21. I'd like to see female sand people armor.
  22. I'd like to see some more ornate headgear in game Examples: http://th05.deviantart.net/fs70/200H/i/2012/295/2/2/medusa_armor_helmet_for_skyrim_by_zerofrust-d5in5yf.jpghttp:// http://swlibrarian.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/amidala_theed.jpg http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111115045123/starwars/images/c/c8/AdiGallia2-SWE.jpg
  23. I like the look of the relaxed vestments, but the arms and neck seem really bare. I think it would be nice to have a relaxed top with some sort of scarf or choker and/or arm bands.
  24. I'd live to see full body tattoos, even if it is just a customization option for Imperial side zabrak and twi'lek w/ the option of unlocking for Republic side.
  25. This seems like a popular suggestion and I imagine we will see more character customization options for non-human characters in the future, so I second this!
