I played WoW for about 6 years and mostly raided (PVE). I joined a pvp arena team once but never played, dabbled in battlegrounds but nothing serious. Yet something happened with TOR, I got massively addicted to the warzones. My wife and I would spend hours a day PVP'n and would squeal with delight when Huttball came up. She would yell Huuuuuuutttballl! Then 1.2 landed and it all came to an end. As a sage I couldn't keep myself alive let alone try and save others. Even if I focused on 1 person I couldn't keep him/her alive even if they were fighting one enemy. I persevered thinking BW would see the error of their ways but alas no large change (dont count relic/arena nerf). I'll never understand why such massive changes were made to PVP, I could forgive the waste of time grinding BM gear. But the hugely reduced TTK is baffling. Oh well, when I lost complete interest my wife and best friend also cancelled. I've gone back to World of Tanks and good old PS3/Xbox.

Prior to 1.2 PVP was extremely addicting and I would often spend 4-6 hours a day engaged in it. The day 1.2 landed I played for 1 hour, turned off my laptop and haven't que'd for a WZ since. I've gotten a lot done these past few days. I even planted the front garden like my wife had been asking for several weeks now. TLDR : Thank you for 1.2, the return to real life patch.

Basically the patch is good because you're melting face so I should get 1 or 2 "bits" of BM gear and join the party. Except I have 7 pieces of BM (albeit I'm a seer) and am getting nuked down in 3 or 4 hits. Soooooooo......

The point is that's borked. Yesterday I did Civil War and we got routed at all turrets. 6 people left the team. Another idiot and I stayed and tried to recapture the least defended turret. We did this for 10 minutes (like morons) got 2 medals each and 0 reward. From now on if we're getting routed I'll stay if we have a turret otherwise screw it, I'll go back to fleet and peruse the GTN.

So I q'd into a Void Star that was underway, we were the attacking team. For the first time ever we couldn't even get out of the starting platform. They were ****** spawn..... How do I L2P out of that one? I can't save myself against any DPS. I actually managed to get someone to 5% 1v1 before I went OOM. Praying that the other team doesn't notice me in the corner is not PVP. Before I could keep someone up with 5+ people on them now sometimes I cant keep them up when they're 1v1 because the burst damage is so high. How do I L2P out of that one? If you want this game population to be comprised of a few thousand "pro" players who could do anything with a bag over their head and a hand tied behind their back then fine. Enjoy.

I read in several spots on the SWTOR site that it was best to spend your champ/cent badges before 1.2. Sorry that you weren't clued in!

Yeah I'm praying for X-realm warzones as well. It really sucks randomly waking up at 5AM and knowing there's no way I will get a WZ Q until 10AM.

Random. Yesterday I got no crits just credit boxes. Today I got like 8 missions and an epic augment. RNG happened.

If they bring down the servers again on a Friday night at midnight with the only notice having been posted to the forums, I'm done with the game. I dont' check the forums everyday and it should have been posted to the info wall you get upon login. To the people who say get a life and go do something, *** was I supposed to do at midnight not knowing what was coming.

Hey guys I hear MMO's are absolutely awesome the first few days and have no problems or bugs! Oh and I demand that we see nonstop post from the devs during Xmas! Last but not least it's absolutely Bioware's fault that I have crappy internet and a 3 year old computer!
