Nothing aside from every minor npc being the fully voiced is innovative in this game imo. Just refining something that already exist is not innovation. Innovation would be something like the non targeting action combat DCUO had or having physx driven ragdolls like city of heroes.

Gw1 wasn't competitive? Wut? I'm pretty sure you never played the game. How many tournaments did they have with something like $25k-50k pot at the end (all won by Korea and japan but w/e)? It only dropped off when they starts focusing on PVE with NF and GWEN. GW1 had the right idea with healers. You shouldn't be able to solo one unless you're much more skilled than them. This forces TEAMWORK, meaning you have to COORDINATE. And no having more monks don't mean you auto win, because you would lack the damage you need to take out the other teams healers, this isn't WoW or WAR or SWTOR where your healers can also put out buttload of DPS. Just saiyan

This was a knee jerk nerf brought about by the fear of WoW Rogues. You don't completely nerf a class into the ground in the first month of the game, especially one of the LEAST played ones. It's like BW keeps a book of WoW nerf/buff history and balances the game according to that. "OMG a stealth class people are calling OP, NERF!!! I mean that's what WoW did"

They want subs right now. When the account numbers come out after the free month they want to be as high as possible. Do you really think they're going to ban anyone? I'm sure if they knew who was running the bots they'd send them a few hundred free accounts just to pad their sub rate

Nah history has shown, hell win trading Ilum has shown that 90% of people do pvp not for the love of their faction or pvp, but for the easy road into phat loot. I mean would people care as much about arena in WoW if it didn't come with gear, titles and mount? Your idea all sounds good on paper like WAR at launch, they tried the exact same thing as you describe, little rewards that benefit the faction, but when people found out you get more xp and valor faster in BGs, it was 4 maps from 1-50 and beyond. When they finally fixed RvR it was way too late.

Those rewards are not incentives at all. I mean at lv 50 do you really want 10% HP regen or speed increase?
