  1. This sadly is exactly the state of the game these days. So pathetically easy that you feel like luggage your companion is carrying around. Gear is pointless low level and endgame (unless your doing Nim ops). Heroics are nothing, not hard or difficult in any way shape or form. Game has become the ultimate solo casual face roll across the keyboard boring pile of bantha ****.

  3. ''Nightmare Operations now drop 224 Rating items: Each boss has a 5% chance to drop a 224 token'' Not sure if there's another thread..couldn't see one. I'm struggling for words with this one. Need to check the facts I think. We can still farm the golden weekly hard mode and get 100% 224 drop from every boss. But if we do any nightmare mode operation we only get a 5% drop chance of 224 up until last boss which has 100% drop. So.......just can't see when it would be a better choice too pick the nightmare ops over the weekly golden hard mode if your looking to gear up. Maybe I'm missing something...help me here please.

Dread Palace Nim is not easier than Explosive Conflict but then I suppose that's a matter of opinion and you'l disagree just for the sake of disagreeing since that's your agenda from the start. Speaking of worthless opinions I see you have yet to share yours on the actual thread but instead continue to troll. Maybe it's you that's not a Nim raider hence the lack of any thought on gear drops on highlighted hard mode ops.

I'll edit my post to say Explosive Conflict Nim isn't anywhere near as hard as Dread Palace Nim would that be okay? Random plebs posting pointless criticism rather than focusing on the issue in hand.... priceless
  7. Just to repeat what others have said. Highlighted Hard Mode operation of the week dropping 224 gear on every boss was a ridiculous idea. And killed any need to even look at Nightmare content. People could run those Hard Mode ops with multiple toons (endgame raiders tend to have 2/3 roles they can play) and gear main characters up in a few weeks max. You want people to hit the 'highlighted' hard mode each week then maybe last boss only 224 and a nice shiny mount. Not every bloody boss. And do you realize that certain Nightmare ops are easier than others? For instance KP Nim isn't any where near as hard as TOS Nim. But will both drop the same level and amount of gear? If so then you'l just have people farming the easier Nightmare ops to fully gear up and end up back to square one. The top 4 hardest operations in the game should be 224 only. With cool mounts/decorations that only they drop. That will cater for your endgame raiders if that's what your aiming for here.
  8. Stop yoyo'ing the companions. COMPANIONS ARE OP THEN NERF'D THEN BUFF'D THEN ??? etc I'm in the category of people that like the new challenge. The companions were way too OP before. But as you said some like it easier than others so BIOWARE listen closely.. YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE. By now buffing them again your upsetting the people who enjoyed the difficulty of the H2's. So whats next month another nerf ? and round and round we go (like PVP changes all over again) Heroics should be difficult hence the name of them. As much as you want people to not bypass them there still should be an element of thought given into taking the mission on, Like ''okay this H2 could be a right ******, lets do this'' OR ''heh guildies any help with this H2?'' NOT ''heh bioware buff my companion so I can solo this while watching youtube on my phone'' You falling into the trap of whining feedback being the majority voice of all players. This game has plenty to do in a solo mode type version but it is suppose to be a MMO after all so when your doing heroics aka group content then that's what it should encourage the player to do..actually bloody group up.
  9. More cartel coins the longer you sub is the answer. No point in trying to guess what people may like if they sub. Some like the mount some do not. Some like the blasters some not so much. Pretty much everyone couldn't give a toss about the coat.(mentioned lots that its a reskin) Early access is nothing much (access 1 week before others is meh so so meh *shrug) A new Comp that has little to do with the actual story is yet again meh (I have him cool, I don't have him so what, makes no real difference overall) Give people extra Cartel Coins then they can spoil themselves. Buy and reward themselves..a new mount, a new skin, a new cargo bay, a new anything...coins is the way ahead here.
  10. Excellent Guide as always Oofalong. The Watchman/Annihilation spec is improved alot since the disaster of SoR 3.0 (from a PVE point of view) The spec feels alot better and doesn't feel like its apply Rupture/Cauterize do a few moves then reapply..what a nightmare that was. Only question I have for you Theorycrafters/guide writers is how is the self healing in 4.0? Better or worse than say SoR?
  11. Only took 4 years of moaning about this feature to come into the game so looks like Watchman/Annihilation will be fixed in 2019..something to look forward too then
  12. Yip thats exactly what I was about to say... Very rarely is melee ever standing close to healers..Most healers keep there distance from melee..so 9 times out of 10 you'l be blitzing out of range And the old agrument ''learn to use it right'' is just another way of saying 'yes we know this sucks but it sometimes comes in handy'' Instead a decent new ability or passive that could be used often and welcomed by all we're left with something no one asked for and see as an action bar bloat. The defense buff while we move isn't great...its going to be on and off so fast, so you have to time your dash's too perfection..pfff would much rather they gave us something else. Only use this will have is in unranked PVP when you want to run away from ranged eating you alive(but since you can't self heal, your merely delaying your death and would be quicker and better for your team to just die and respawn) or to run to stop a cap, maybe get to a healthpack drop...but since mara/sents have stealth and predation/transcendence its still not really needed.
  13. Hats off to you guys who keep trying to provide feedback to a DEV team that clearly don't care or want any feedback. For what it's worth this 4.0 changes are as garbage as the last changes we had. ''New Active Ability: Mad Dash/Blade Blitz! Dash forward 20 meters, dealing weapon damage to enemies in your path and increasing your defense chance by 100% while dashing'' Utter rubbish this Mad Dash/Blade Blitz is. The damage is weapon damage only and the defense that everyone is hoping will be great lasts while you move, which will be what around 1 second maybe 2 if your lucky. Your not walking slowly across the screen so its going to be a burst of defense that's not going to change your survivability by anything that'l you'l notice much...hell most times this will be used to escape in unranked PVP and ranged are ganking you so you Mad Dash away only to end up still in range and boom dead anyway. For PVE this ability is completely useless...If your looking at endgame ops then the last thing you need is this tool. Dashing across the screen only to be yelled at by healers for going out of range as you take stupid amount of damage as you stop 20 metres away from where you were. Sentinel/Marauders do not want this ability. And even if and its a big IF there becomes a use for this ability its on a 45 sec cooldown..by design its not to be used often. It feels like they went ''meh *** it give them a mad move that makes them zip across the screen, the morons will love it,'' ''but its crap and the damage is poor and its on a 45 sec cooldown..total crap'' ''true ..hmmm how to sell it as something we have thought about more than 5 mins on...I know 100% defense but we don't want to make them OP so only as they move..there right lets move on to class's that are ranged!! ME love ranged!!'' Annihilation/Watchman still broken/horrible/ugly rotation..tons of feedback on that but ignored. Carnage/Combat gets a burn dot on ravage lol because thats what they want a dot..ffs...just buff theyre Ravage Fury/Concentration get a crit buff like that spec doesn't have that over flowing already...clearly this spec was given the same amount time on changes as it takes the defense buff on mad dash to fall off. Sigh why are we all still trying...play the story then unsub..it's clear thats the road we're on

'' Annihilate/Merciless Slash makes your bleeds/burns deal 10% more '' WOOPEE DOO zzzzzzzzzz Mad Dash/Blade Blitz !! omg what *****. Useless ability. Cant even see it being something that'l get put to good use in PVE or PVP. Maybe in unranked I suppose but meh. All we wanted was Anni/Watchman fixed or at the very least on the road to being fixed. Its basically been ignored like the majority of players who used and loved the spec. Don't know who the DEVS are listening too if they're listening to anyone. Annihilation/Watchman is a mess !!! Remove Force Rend/Melt its ugly and we don't like it. How many posts will it take before it hits home? Make your player base happy ffs

  16. Love these threads. The more the better and maybe the Devs will see sense and remove this terrible ability. We do not underestimate it we just plain hate it. Attach the dot onto another move like others have said ....I quite like the DST/TST idea Bring Back ANNIHILATION/WATCHMAN PRE 3.0 !!!
  17. I always find a healer Companion works best with Sent/mara..so depends on which of your comps are best geared. Personally i think Treek is very good
  18. Wooo you really are a big fan of the spec. Lets see.. yes I do want him to dismiss people telling him that his opinion is wrong and that everything is fine. Thats thing with opinions (like ******es everyone has one ) and his doesn't need to be the same as yours. What baffles me is you think the spec is fine and he's wrong to think differently. First guy said he wanted a longer gore/precision window in which you agreed it would be better if it was longer but right now its fine..that's a total contradiction in its self by the way..You can't say it would be better if it was changed but as is its okay..that's just arguing with yourself. 4 secs is better than 3 so pre 3.0 gore/precision window was better, so he's right to want that back. You then say ''If you're spamming Blade Rush then honestly you're doing something wrong'' but a quick look on dulfy guide and the guy there wrote 'Blade Rush – main spammable and filler ability'' so again another contradiction since you claim he should listen to you and the guide writers. When playing combat/carnage it does feel like your spamming that ability alot more than the others..I personally find it boring (that's just my opinion) and it would seem others feel the same (see original posters comment) As for the 'easy' comment. Sorry to hurt your 'I love combat' bubble but out of the 3 specs for sentinel/marauder it's widely regarded as the easier spec to play/learn and I'm almost positive I read a Devs post somewhere before 3.0 that it was designed to be the 'easier' spec out the 3. Your argument that its not easy to play this spec due to the endgame ops mechanics has nothing to do with the fact it was built play style wise to be more simpler than the other 2. Everyone will agree that melee DPS as a whole is HARD in endgame HM OPS. But it is easier to learn combat/carnage, here's another guide quote from dulfy ''Who is Combat for The Spec is best choice for beginners of all 3 available Sentinel Discipline paths. The simplicity and the new highlight system developed by Bioware in 3.0allows for new players to be efficient.'' So is the guy that started this conversation wrong in wanting changes ? I think not and pretty sure others agree. New abilities? why not Longer Gore/precision window? Hell yeah Less use of blade rush? would be nice For the record. I have the utmost respect and gratitude to all theorycrafters / PTS players and guide writers. The work they do deserves appreciation. BRING BACK ANNIHILATION/WATCHMAN PRE 3.0 !!!!!!
  19. This is the problem your up against mate when you complain about the quality of life in the class you play. People tell you to learn to play it better or it's 'fine' or it does great dps in ops or pvp or on a test dummy. Totally doesn't help at all and the Devs sadly listen to them and ignore you. Sentinel/Marauders are in a bad place regardless to what people claim they are. Hear all the time that watchman/annihilation is fine because people are pulling great dps numbers at the end of unranked warzones or in ops with the dot spread. Doesn't change the fact the play style is horrible. The rotation is ugly and lost it's amazing feel it had before. It sucks to play, was my favourite spec for 3 years and now its even unbearable to do dailies in. Carnage/combat was openly said by the Devs it was tweaked to make as the 'easy' spec to play..so away went the cooldown proc for gore/precision and it is alot of spamming of massacre/blade rush..outside of gore/precision windows your either building resources or spamming that 1 ability...Totally Boring. Had a few carnage marauders in guild who were massive fans of the spec before 3.0 and have since retired from playing the spec since it lost its difficulty appeal..Squeezing 4 abilities into the old 4 sec windows was an art form and proc'ing the window with enough resources to use it instantly gave it a difficulty factor. Sadly it seems the specs are heading in the wrong direction and the game Devs are wanting to make the specs mirror images of others and some easy for casual people to log in once a week and play endgame without having to do any real work. Continue to complain in the forums and hopefully one day a DEV will read your post and maybe just maybe you'l get lucky and your spec will change for the better.   20. Played Annihilation since the game came out up until they ruined it in 3.0. Now the only time my Mara leaves the guild ship to do PVE or PVP he's Fury Spec'd. Fury for PVP is preferred due to the 6 seconds of cc immunity and for PVE because Carnage rotation is pretty simple and a touch dull (IMHO) BRING BACK PRE 3.0 ANNIHILATION AND WATCHMAN DEVS !!!!!
  21. Feedback from the marauder/sentinel community ?? Really or is this the usually fake request that will go on the auto ignore pile? Sorry the vast majority of this community as lost all faith and trust in the dev team. The shocking mess of changes to Annihilation/Watchman and pages and pages of people feedback completely ignored is still a bitter taste in the mouth. Forget that the spec is useless in Operations and PVP , its now depressing and sad to run in doing dailies. My marauder is now collecting dust on guild ship..saddest thing ever. Do I want to provide feedback for set bonus changes ermmm no no I don't.. It will be pointless and in the end most likely screw up the spec further. Just in the desperate hope that a DEV does actually scan through these pages >>>>>>>> PUT ANNIHILATION AND WATCHMAN BACK TO PRE 3.0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sabers crossed.
  22. This is bad news and extremely confusing too. A new expansion should cover the bases of a whole MMORPG. New story check New operation check New flashpoint/dungeon check New warzone for pvp check (hell even new GSF map remember that?) But Bioware have decided on story only, very strange thinking there. I don't buy into the whole player base that do endgame is 10% thats why its story only argument. Ravagers and TOS are terrible operations, alot of people played TFB/S&V and DF/DP when they were released and enjoyed them..we had 3 ops teams in guild at Shadow of Revan release and now we struggle to make a single team once a week.(and thats not because people are busy with story) PVP has also been forgotten again. I'm a part timer there but I feel for the guys that want more warzones and the class balance disasters fixed. GSF is so forgotten its depressing just thinking about it. We had people in guild playing it and now I can't remember the last time they logged in. That's not they're fault..they've had zero attention for along time. Flashpoints are pointless unless you want decorations, that's why no one is queuing. At Shadow of Revan the comm drop was hopeless and you could clear them in solo mode so why queue up in hard mode to struggle through a FP that drops crap? Better rewards gets people interested. Part of the reason alt leveling is most popular right now because endgame is so unpopular. People standing on fleet bored thinking ''meh may as well go do that sage story I haven't done yet'' The story content that is coming does sound amazing but it shouldn't be all that's coming. We should have great story content with new operation/ 1 new warzone /1 new flashpoint (with a decent reward incentive) and something for the poor GSF dudes. I don't think its wrong to want something more for your money and for them to cover everyone in game...
