People play for medals when there is a perception that the match is already lost. The game does not promote playing for medals instead of playing to win for at least one major reason: you get more comms for winning. When I play in a pug I go for the win first because its pretty easy to get medals while winning. If its looking like a win is unlikely, I start farming medals while the match comes to an end. Before you get all upset about other players, take a deep breath and think about what you're raging about... a video game that you are playing for fun.

Bad idea. If ranked wz will allow you to queue with 8 people, then it shouldn't matter if pve players or pugs queue naked for regular wz.

It was supposed to be funny It can also happen if you get hit with a knockdown right when you die, you get stuck in the spawn and booted from the warzone. I wouldn't say its common, but I've seen it happen before. Just submit a bug report and then you should get an email asking you to reply with your dxdiag and system logs, which the team can use to try and fix the bug.

You have 3 choices. 1. Wait endless hours for a WZ queue to pop while you do anything other than PvP. 2. Re-roll on either Fatman, Swiftsure, Ajunta Pal, or Jung Ma and while you wait see what happens if/when transfers/merges ever happen. 3. Complain on the forums and unsub. I went with option two, and i'm enjoying the game. If you don't think that is an entertaining option, then I'm not going to knock you for it. I'm sure you put a lot of time and effort into your main and you want to stick with them, but its not really that bad to start over... I'm looking at my original server's population issues like a game-save getting bugged on Skyrim. It would really suck to lose 100+ hours of gametime, but I still want to finish the main quest so I'll start over. Just to give you a little background, My main was a sniper on Anchorhead, valor 68. I re-rolled an operative healer on the Fatman and I'm at 43 right now. I leveled 4 characters into the 30s on the Pub side on the Fatman too, but I got bored with them so I went back to the Imp side to roll the operative.

It takes a whole team of operatives to do this to you. You are supposed to unsub now.

I haven't seen a lot of the hacks that people have described since I'm a more casual player who is still getting used to the PVP after 50, but I'm sure many of those hacks do exist. I'm a bit concerned that we haven't had any bug fixes since 15 may though...

haha, that is pretty fun to do in between warzones... if your server can even get a queue to pop. You can always re-roll on the fatman while you wait to see what happens with transfers. I left my BM geared sniper to rot on Anchorhead and haven't looked back since I re-rolled.

I had an absolute blast last night by putting together a group of guildies plus some random imps to take over the spaceport on alderaan (fatman server). We had 3-50s and 8 more between 35-45 in the party. After killing all the leveling players for a while we got the attention of 3 50s who we killed 2-3 times. Then a guild of 50s showed up and wiped us out. There were about 8 of them. We regrouped and took over the spaceport again for another hour or so before a different guild showed up to stop us. Most fun I've had on Tor in a while... I stayed up until like 4am lol.

At 10 PM EST/7PM PST there is one very heavy PvP server and one standard PvP server, with 20+ light servers. Merge them already!

I'm thinking since the weapons don't mean much, I'll spend the ranked comms on the Earpiece and 2 implants, then BM Boots, then fill in rest with recruit and then as i get the BM pieces throw the mods in the augmented gear. The set bonuses are meh.

I'm going to ding 50 on my operative healer soon and I'm wondering what I should spend my banked commendations on. I have orange gear in all slots with augment slots on my main hand, head, chest, and legs. I have the augmented battlemaster boots and gloves also, but won't be able to equip them right away. Any suggestions which BM/WH pieces to go for first?

I wander around outside the republic base on alderaan between wz queues, I find it a lot more entertaining than the fleet. I'm an imp on the fatman server so even at off times there are usually enough lowbies to kill.

I agree and disagree. If the match has already started then skip the cut scene automatically. If the match hasn't started yet, then play the cut scene.

I agree with you here and there is actually a system in place already that makes crafting highly desireable... The BiS gear for PvP and PvE is augmented orange gear. The only way to obtain augmented gear is from crafting.

Sorry about the tone of my last post. It was supposed to be a joking one. I just haven't witnessed all of the things that you mentioned and I genuinely want to see them for myself... outside of the warzone of course Try not to get discouraged by the community on these forums, and sorry again for being one of the negative guys on here. It would just help out to show some evidence. Video would be great, even if it was cell phone quality.

Honestly, I'm playing this game because it is SW. I have no real interest in any other MMOs, except maybe something like City of Heroes. I'll be one of the 300K that stay around. Didn't play SWG, but that was only because I lived in the middle of no where with or crappy DSL until about a year ago.
