  1. So you are complaining that higher level characters have more abilities than your lower level character We should just have everyone start with all of the same abilities with the same exact armor and stats. That way its fair for everyone!
  2. This. All stats and armor are boosted to that of a level 49. Due to the fact you have less abilities, the few ones you will have do significantly more damage. In fact, most people I know complain about having trouble as they get higher level since they can no longer spam the same ability and be effective. Game is perfectly balanced 1-49, perhaps you aren't very talented?
  3. I think the valve switches consistently over a certain number of seconds. Generally if someone else jumps on it and I jump on it immediately after, we always land in the same spot.
  4. Awesome. Someone else who has never played a class speculating as to how it works. Wish I could just stealth and clean dots any time I wanted, that would indeed be awesome. Too bad we can't do that.
  5. ^^^This x100 Pissed me off on my first character, but after playing a Shadow I realize it's pretty balanced. After Operative even more so, just drop dots/aoes and you'll be fine.
  6. I agree, I hate this time sink. Whenever I load into a Voidstar match and see there is 30 seconds until the match starts, I pray to god I'm not riding a speeder.
  7. Wholeheartedly support. I was very disappointed when I learned that you never really have surprise PvP. I rarely ever see people just walking around or get attacked during a quest. Also planned and instanced, kind of sad.
  8. Sure is, though you are making the assumption that I have a ranged disrupt. Two characters don't, and I still manage fine. There are plenty ways to close the distance without taking too much damage.
  9. Lol overpowered. Pro-tip: Wait for Tracer Missile and disrupt them. Pretty much ends the fight. Can honestly say I never have issues with them as long as I can disrupt their tracer missile. 9/10 times they will even just sit there doing nothing as you kill them because they are still trying to spam it.
  10. People who don't focus on killing the healer. Especially when I have the healers marked with a big glowing star.

  12. 3.5k is one hit from any class? Must be running into a ton of really weak players, because that almost never happens to me. And if it does happen, you probably just absorbed one of their strongest abilities which may have been proced, which still gives you a pretty significant advantage in the fight. I'm not one to ***** about classes being overpowered, I'm perfectly content with the way my characters compare to every other class. Though I do think a slight increase to the cool down of the bubble would solve a lot of ************.
  13. Nope, ranged classes have an advantage at a range. Melee classes have an advantage at close distance. Imagine that. I'm sure ranged classes get pissed when their knock back is on cool down and they are completely helpless to any competent melee. And I play all melee characters.
  14. Sage/Assassin are probably some of the best ball runners in the game. Your son is a genius.
  15. /sign. Mara and Shadow and I see no issue with them. Save disrupts for heals and you'll be fine. Wish they would increase the cooldown on their bubble, but thats about it.
  16. Inb4 save your gap closers, use slows, stuns, and everything else at your disposal. Most ranged characters don't have multiple knock backs and if you are at all competent once you close the distance it should be pretty much over. Have played Mara, Sent, and Shadow so far and don't really see any issue. Also this: Don't know why everyone just wants to button mash and expect to do well.

  18. TLDR Version: I died, my character must be underpowered. Please increase my damage output to make up for me playing badly. Should try having companion attack first as someone else suggested. Not certain how far along you are, but should have a companion that taunts.
  19. It is painfully obvious that Bioware Devs were forced to release this game by EA prior to it actually being ready for release. All of the hate on Bioware is unfounded, should really be directing the hate to EA. With as broken as the game was, they have been patching consistently and making up lost ground. I'm actually quite impressed with the Devs so far, though I am slightly angered that an obviously flawed game was sold to me. Regardless, was a nice post to read. Should have came awhile ago, but it's nice to get some actual feedback.
  20. Again, you clearly are incapable of reading. I've always averaged 9+ medals(at least since full pvp gear). I haven't played since not being able to use a medpac, so 9+ seemed right to me. I never said it was fine, I said averaging 8+ was certainly possible. If you are averaging 7+ now without any form of defender points(which is what you are implying), would it really be that difficult to hang around points a bit more and defend?
  21. No **** sherlock. That is why I edited to 8+. The only medal that changed for us as far as I am aware is medpacs. I already made a post awhile back explaining how we needed more medals, and considering that I have been unable to play due to difficulty patching the game since 1.1, I apologize for the small error which I fixed immediately upon recognizing? I also love how you say "You averaged 9+ before the medpack nerf..like the rest of us" I didn't have Biochem, so I didn't get a 5k heal medal. Only the 2.5k. So even more amazing I guess. I'm certain the lvl 50 Warzones will change things a bit, but even in premades this seemed possible. Sorry you are so angry.
  22. I edited it before you made this post? I averaged 9+ when I could use a medpak for the 2.5k. I haven't really played at all since 1.1. Would be more than happy to fraps it for you, any decently geared marauder would tell you that it is not overly difficult. And how the hell is it difficult getting medals at defensive points? I specifically listed those two as difficult on purpose, as no, I am not averaging 50k kills or 300k+ damage per game.
  23. Who said realistically? I said 11 max. And it is actually not that difficult to do! 75K damage (very easy) 300k damage(difficult) 10kills(very easy) 25kills(somewhat easy) 50kills(difficult) 2.5k damage in one hit (Very easy) 5k damage in one hit (surprisingly easy if done right) Quick Draw (very easy) Assassin (easy if you can get someone alone) 2.5k defender (pretty easy if done right) 5k defender (pretty easy if done right) I usually average 8+ as well.
  24. ^ This I think marauders max out at 11 medals now. Though I agree some additional ones would be nice.
