Playin a level 75 copy from live felt pretty similar. Testing Tactics only. Easy to understand but wow full paragraphs on some of those skill descriptions! I never liked harpoon but I don't hardly ever tank or pvp so not something I'd use anyways. Didn't mind having to choose storm over it. Not a fan of the last tier of choices. Happy with how it turned out so far and looking forward to adding a second combat style.

Hey, I'm in a weird spot with the game right now. I've had enough of the Sith/Jedi thing and I'm looking for an Agent/BH guild. Here's the weird part: it doesn't need to be an RP guild. I don't do much RP at all, although I do enjoy it from time to time. I'm just looking for some game immersion that doesn't involve space wizards; or Mandolorian. I know it's limiting but ya never know. There's gotta be some "Expendables" or Mercenary type guilds out there. I know you ask, "why play SWTOR if you don't like Jedi/Sith or Mandos?" Well, because I like the Agent BH stuff and the sci-fi aspects of the game. So I thought I'd try to narrow it down. I'm a PvE player that does FP, Ops, Uprisings, Dailies, crafting. I've got a sniper and an Operative I play regularly and a PT and a Merc on the side. I play 5 ish nights a week usually after about 8pm mst but that floats around. The controls are the dealbreaker for me. So frustrated with the sensitivity and lack of joystick option. Played the day with it and just couldn't get used to it.

I feel like I'm fighting the controls more than anything. Kind of frustrating. I would also much prefer a joystick for a game like this. Maybe that's the source of my trouble I dunno. Looks great and its kinda fun minus the bad control.

I love the feel of the vanguard class. Im the tough soldier that charges into the fray unafraid of light sabers and blaster bolts. I get in the enemies face and slash shoot and smack them down. I don't need the force an I don't need to duck behind cover because I can take Shot. Character concept aside I feel the class is solid. Of course there could be tweaks but full redesign heck no.

I really enjoy my vanguard. I swap between shield spec and tactics depending on the day and have found great success. I love playing mid range to melee. The only thing I think we could use is another defensive cool down and storm for all specs. I've had great Pvp matches, hm flash points on both my specs and have just started ops. No issues anywhere. Really it seems people are looking not for a viable spec but rather another overpowered spec. The memories of mmo dps'rs is long and wistful for the days when there spec was a one button hero.

Not signed! I find it much more useful now in PvE and PvP.
