    They aren't competing with release WoW for peoples money. They're competing with WoW RIGHT NOW for peoples money. The idea of "Keep giving them money, it'll get better eventually" is a stupid one.

    If it was free, this would be true. Bait and switch is a thing though.

    So, you have no reading comprehension then I assume. When you qualify something with an "If" it means you don't have information on the subject. And yes, I would of preferred the game not be launched with this issue.

    If it wasn't a critical priority then their priorities were very bad. As far as fixed, I'll believe it when i see it. Which I won't because my sub runs out in 2 days.

    There's a difference between "unfinished" and "bad". TOR fell into both categories to different degrees.

    inb4 his post doesn't mention at all what's really wrong with the game (animations).

    What? SWTOR isn't new or truly innovative, it's almost a carbon copy of WoW, only with lightsabers.

    Not sure where this downtime figure came from. Besides a very rare short outage the first month was almost downtime free on my server.

    You realize he's not really talking about LACK of endgame content, he's talking about bad/buggy endgame content.

    Because 200million in development is obviously chump change. I have no numbers to back it up, but I bet Blizzard didn't spend even half that for WoW + All expansions development.

    After reading this I'm concerned that the devs don't actually understand the issue.

    I know right? My usual response is thus: If I've already leveled one to 50, I'm just going to youtube the other 7 main story lines instead of repeating almost all the content over again. Also, TL;DR? Really? It took all of 1 minute to read the entire post.

    Well I gave it the month, and today is the last day of my sub. They dropped the ball. I wish you all the best of luck getting this fixed, but I certainly won't wait around for it.

    Didn't FF14 go F2P for awhile while they fixed gamebreaking badness?

    Wait, you don't? I expect a fully operational end game at release. This isn't 2004.

    Mostly it's because they don't actually play the whole game and just see the shiny stuff. I could play this game to 30 and be like, oh my god so amazing! But then you level to 50 and realize that the game just dies.

    I always sort by most healed and give my MVP vote to that person. Every match.

    It has definitely not been fixed. I have noticed improvement (though that could just be my mind playing tricks on me) but it's certainly not up to the standard it needs to be at.
