Unfortunately Bioware didn't really design the game with the primary focus being endgame. They want people to keep rolling new alts to experience all the voice acting they put in the game.

Actually the talent overhaul and new challenge modes look pretty interesting. Not to mention Pokemon.

To be honest, I feel it does. Bioware should see how many individual players WANT this game to work out, but just can't stick around when there's something better out there. They are promising fixes, but they will need a bit of urgency behind that promise.

Gave this game a much longer shot than I gave any other MMO I tried (Aion, Rift, Warhammer, Conan, Vanguard) ... I was always back to WoW after 2 weeks. TOR hooked me for much longer... though I suspect it's because it's a Star Wars game more than anything else... because honestly if this wasn't a Star Wars game, I would've left the first week. YES, I KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO BE A STORY DRIVEN MMO. And I LOVE that part about the game (I have multiple mid level characters, VERY enjoyable and would love to finish out their stories) However, I simply can no longer deal with how... old... this game feels. Buggy, clunky, random load screens... ugh. It has, honest to goodness, completely taken away any immersion I may have had towards my characters' stories The Ability Delay issue, while I was aware of it and really thought I could live with it until it was fixed, is simply intolerable for me, especially after logging back in WoW for 5 minutes and seeing how responsive and polished that 8 year old game is. (not to mention how absolutely BRILLIANT the environments are in the major cities... where there are several dozen random NPC situations happening all around you, the cities DO feel alive and bustling even when there may only be a handful of players around) So, that said... I'll be back in the undisputed, best playing MMO until Bioware releases an update with the appropriate fixes... and I pray that it's done properly. I'll keep my sub active this next month, just in case... but my hope for this game is dwindling by the day. TL;DR - I like this game but wish it played better. Going back to WoW until TOR attempts to play, not just act, more like it is over there. EDIT - Sorry but the "The game is only a month old!" line is crap. Any new MMO developer these days has access to the blueprints that make a MMO succesful... and from what I understand a lot of game play mechanics that people complain about have been around since Beta.

Good to know. Personally won't be playing again until this goes live... Yes, it's THAT annoying to me. I'll be in that OTHER game until then. But can't wait!

Kao Cen would take Darth Maul to school. He took on a Sith Lord AND his Apprentice at once and got one of them. Darth Maul took on a passive Jedi Master and his padawan, but had to kill Qui Gon completely by himself thanks to the force field doors.

I've only done a handful of them... and it's been a clusterjam of people not talking and just fighting each other. Not to mention I'm severely outleveled hehe. But I like it so far.

The meters are coming. They'll be for you only though, so no group spamming, e-peen stroking, group dymanic distraction.

Unfortunately most servers have a huge faction imbalance... so until they start merging servers to even out population, Huttball it is. Either that or they'll have to make the other WZ's cross faction as well.

I don't think Bioware has the revenue stream that Blizzard has to make something like that... They would need to address the BIG in-game issues first (Combat responsiveness being paramount) so they can have a nice, solid subscription base of 2+ million before they can work on something as involved as a SWTOR Armory.

Really? Out of the bajillion things that are instantly pointed out as "whaaaat?", you pick the sciency ones? Forget Hyperdrive/FTL, forget 3D holo communicators, forget droid AI... There's the Force. Period. Before all that other science nonsense can be broken down... there's the freakin Force. There are X-men in a galaxy far, far away. .............. though to be THAT guy... since it IS a galaxy far, far away... maybe physics are totally different there? SERIOUSLY THE FORCE
