  1. OP, are you implying that farmville is not a massive grindfest designed to milk it's playerbase of every penny? I agree with you about grinding and stupid 0.00001% bonus rewards for grinding for several weeks. But farmville is not a good example of a game devoid of grinding. I think that the problem is not connected to casual/hardcore. Casual games can be as grindy as hardcore - look at Farmville. Hardcore gamers got fed up with grinding first, while casuals are still in the beginning phase of being abused by grinds. Casual gaming is just more accessible, while at it's core there are still grindfests everywhere. But they will come at a point we have come. At least i hope so. I think the problem you have, and many of us, is that we want adventure in mmoRPG game, we want exploration, character development. Instead of character development we get a gear development as the only possible solution for getting better. There's literally no adventure, no exploration - because there's nothing to explore and no places to go adventuring to. There are no interesting fights prior to bosses, and only some of the bosses are interesting to fight. How do we call mobs before bosses? Trash. I think this name implies a lot about what people experience during raids/dungeons/flashpoints.
  2. So, how do you like playing a jedi with lightsaber who kills a dock worker in rags for several minutes. Quite stylish, has a typical star wars feel.......owait, it's a wow feel.
  3. Actually, many threads that criticize this game do not have "whaaaaaaa this is not wow 2.0 i quit", they bring a lot of issues to attention. I think it's stupid to call anyone who disagrees with you "stupid". Arrogant. "Warhammer sucked"....sorry, but you are jumping on hate bandwagon of vocal minority. Warhammer online was great.

  5. Did i say i'm not enjoying the game? I'm just not happy how every criticism is labeled "vocal minority". I remember vocal minorities criticizing Warhammer Online. Turns out they were not minorities.

  9. They didnt give a damn about feedback on PST realm. Do you think it will be different now? Ha.
  10. Final Fantasy, Elder Scrolls and Baldur's Gate did not have problems of MMOs. The world around you actually changed depending on your choices. Here? There are choices, but no real impact on the world around you. You saved some people? Come back a day later and save them again. You liberated a planet? Well, not really.
  11. Can't be further from truth. Game engine does not utilize multi-core as it should nowadays. 1 core running at 100% while another at 20% and 3 + 4 sleeping. Doesn't seem right to me.
  12. They will notice us only when EU subs drop considerably. By that time it will be too late to return some of them, because if you have to stop playing the game to get attention from developers, then this attention is not worth getting IMO.
  13. If it's such a good time and there are not many people online, why not do it during US day, not EU? Eh-eh? I'm sure same people who are crying "deal with it EU slaves" will be raging all over the internet if they get shafted like we (EU) do.
  14. Well I'm talking about hitting-missing being independent from animation. It could be made optional - you choose yourself how you want combat to be displayed on your side, homing or not homing, with no effects to hitting/missing. All i'm saying that it can be done.
  15. I uderstand. But may be it's possibe to calculate hit/miss/damage before animation is completed. Increase projectile speed to make it harder to dodge. Or even make tohit rolls independent from animation. Much like channeled melee abilities work now.

It may seem to you childish, whiny, but.... i have no problems with this game having bugs because its normal for launch, i have no problems with UI, absence of Dungeon Finders and other commonly complained things. But! Slow moving homing blaster shots. It makes my eyes bleed. It makes me cringe every time i see a blaster shot just turning around midair to hit an NPC that had a dodge animation. *** is this? Bioware, please. You made KOTOR. The blaster fire there was perfect, it had a true Star Wars feel to it. Right now the animation makes it feel like it's some kind of magical missile. I urge you to fix this. Make blaster fire direct, not homing. I understand that there are a lot of issues in game which are more important, but please, look at this. I'd like to know if anyone else in community sees it like this.
