  1. Imagining the 11 years of WoTC Star Wars P&P RPG???
  2. Obviously shop around for the best prices (including delivery prices), but I'd recommend you upgrade your processor first, then the graphics card (maybe PSU before graphics if needed). The only place that visual quality is really noticeable for me is during any game rendered cutscenes and conversations, so when I played on bare minimum settings before my last upgrades, it wasn't really noticeable for most of my game time. If I were in your place though, I'd try and save up at least double what you currently have. It's always nice to have the extra to "play around with" just in case.
  3. Actually it does matter. You're more likely to get it seen in an appropriate section where people who work for Bioware have actually been known to post in more frequently than in Star Wars Discussion. Especially when there's already been other threads on the exact same subject created before you made yours. There's a difference between "forum police" and actually being helpful. Telling you where best for you to address your issue is helping.
  4. Oh totally, and the worst of it is that every section is pretty clearly labelled but too many can't be bothered to go to the right section, and moderators have been far too lax about letting it happen.
  5. Because he's posting in the sub forum for General Star Wars discussion. Story and Lore is over here.
  6. No it doesn't. Crafting in this game, like most other games that have the player make something, is purely down to that - making something. Crafting, in the sense of a trade or skilled "profession". Improving upon/making an improved version of a product is also in the game via first reverse engineering something to learn a superior version of it, then being able to make that improved version. In no way does crafting mean making a unique look, or a unique stat. At best, that's fashion design, which is arguably a craft/skill that we all have, since it's purely about visual aesthetics.
  7. It's not an email, and it needs paragraphs.
  8. You still haven't said what you think it ruins about Anakin's character across six films. If it is to do with the silly trope of The Chosen One, then it doesn't ruin it at all. If it's not that, then please explain what you mean instead of using pointless hyperbole to ridicule the film just because you didn't like it.
  9. At worst, that's simply down to interpretation, since he fulfilled his role as The Chosen One and destroyed the Sith (Palpatine "and Vader"), and restored balance to the Force. It was the imbalance in the Force created by the Sith (Plagueis) that prompted the Force to create Jes... Anakin, for the purpose of restoring balance. Which he did. That aspect of Anakin hasn't been changed at all so far, and I still question WolfninjaJedi's assertion that one single film has destroyed Anakin's entire character over 6 movies.
  10. Got to admit, way back when some of the earlier concept art for Trooper armours were appearing after the early alpha screen shots, there were a lot of people asking for less Clone Trooper style armours, especially the helmets. I think there's all of 4 helmets (pre 4.0 and outside of Comms/Crystal gear) that don't share similarity to Clone Troopers, and only one of them isn't open faced.
  11. Just to add to this part, you can still pick up orange gear that drops from some boss NPCs in heroics, and at least when doing them solo they're all BoE.
  12. If it's for RP purposes, you could rationalise by saying that your family were survivors of the defeated Mandalorians who opposed Mandalore's support of the Empire and remained loyal to the ideals Mandalore the Resurrector (Canderous Ordo) laid down 300 years before. Which would effectively make you similar to Death Watch in both TCW and the pre-TCW materials - Rebel faction of Mandalorians defying Mandalore's decrees. Otherwise, no, just like BrianDavion above said.
  13. Not really. He was turned, redeemed and then went a bit insane 300 years later, including a highly un-Jedi like plan for genocide of everyone bearing Sith genetics and fell to the Dark Side again, which resulted in the ultimate form of split personality, in which his good side was separated from his body and left only the dark aspect of Revan, which lead us to the SoR expansion. Ultimately, nobody can walk a between Light and Dark and emerge triumphant. Nobody.
  14. Why is this even in the CM Suggestions section? Strongholds aren't part of the CM, only some of the decorations are.
  15. Just by doing class + planet with heroics on each world at least once, you can get to around 50 by the end of Tattooine. That's not even doing any planetary bonus series either.
  16. Better than that, they actually put in revealing clothing that works on male bodies too. EQUALITY FTW!
  17. Darth Bane was never EU. He was always G-Canon, created by Lucas, as was Darth Ruin who Lucas had as the first Sith. The EU Bane materials were created to expand upon him, but unfortunately that was done by Drew Karpyshyn who threw his baby Darth Revan and Rakata Prime/Lehon from KoTOR in for no reason other than he wanted to. Lucas dismissed the EU unless there were things in it he could use. He just never made it official that the EU wasn't canon, simply because it helped make him a **** ton of money. Disney only made the previous canon parts of the EU (C and S canon) into Legends so that they could still profit from them and also add to the official canon without having to be bound by the pre-existing materials of both before and after the movies. Despite getting rid of a lot of things I did like, they also did away with a lot of things that were ridiculous, most of which were brought about by the ego of the various authors.
  18. So, what exactly is the bug you're reporting with this thread?
  19. That's what I was getting at. I just stopped short of saying the obvious thing of "Jesus (Yeshua) was a fictional character amongst others from a variety of stolen myths and folk lore from the various cultures in and around ancient Mesopotamia for the earliest materials, right up to ancient Greece/Rome and Egypt". It's just another variation on the monomyth.
  20. The Suggestion Box would be a better place for this, but more likely to ever have it happen would be in Cartel Market Suggestions. After all, that's the only way we got any of the KoTOR/KoTOR2 clothing and armours in the first place.
  21. There aren't any, because the devs obviously didn't want to see fat woman ***** in their game. For female characters, Body 4 is a more voluptuous version of bodies 1 and 2 with bigger bust, wider hips, bigger bum & thighs and a slightly rounder face. Body Type 3 for women looks more like the "in between 2 & 3" for males that I've seen on so many idle NPCs throughout the game Going off on a tangent here but I still laugh that one of the lower level upper body medium armours, Aspiring Knight chest piece from Synthweaving, on women has an exposed midriff that the male version doesn't have.
  22. Why, who died? Seriously though, vaccine is dirt cheap buy 10 and probably make it through the next time they do the event too.
  23. Nah, it's just a very common and ancient trope that gets over used in a lot of fantasy stories.
  24. Lol, no you didn't and no they didn't. Especially when you put the same thread in General Discussion as was suggested to you.
