  1. Yeah they should change this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Does anyone remember Season 5 Arena in WOTLK? Betrayer of Humanity fury warriors killing people in 3 GCDs? DKs with Inevitable Defeat and raid tank gear were #1 for the longest time because they had chain cc and were practically unkillable. Also part of the reason PvP gear was created was that IMS warriors were 1 shotting people in vanilla using...oh. Raid gear. Yeah, splitting them is TOTALLY a bad idea.
  3. As a Vanguard, I slaughter Marauders with 7/31/2. In fact, I beat most classes 1v1 handily. True, healers are a bit of a problem, but they don't do enough damage to be scary. Honestly, the OP just needs to get to 50. Once you get your +25% tech crit CD and gear is more level, we really shine. Sure sorcs are stupid and assassins are really solid, but I think PT/VG beats just about everything out there.
  4. The Rend Blackhand bug was infuriating to no end. Or Barrens, with one graveyard combined with "epic" alliance assaults on random towns. Or how post 30, the game became nearly unplayable for some classes outside group situations (45 scorpions in Tanaris...oh god...) I could go on for hours regarding PvP, the farming, key quests for Onyxia (kill me now), etc. Honestly, as bumpy as TOR's release was, it beat WoW and WAR's launch easily. The fast support from Bioware is quite refreshing.
  5. At least bugs get squashed pretty quickly here. It took Blizzard four and a half months to figure out how to stop a flight master from falling through the ground and de-spawning for an hour... Vanilla was awful.
  6. This thread stinks of entitlement so bad, I could smell it from another forum.
  7. I'd like to not post the 4.1 and 4.2 patch notes to prove you wrong. But I will say this: Season 5 was the perfect example of Raiders complaining that their crap wasn't cool and good enough, and that spilled way over into PvP. Even a wrath baby like you should get that reference (if you weren't trudging through outlands during that time ). The "hardcore raiders" really screwed that one up. Also gotta love the gradual homogenization of classes because the raid crews were crying that their mages didn't have cleanse. That being said, TOR is NOT a PvE game with some PvP elements. We don't want to see the same degeneration into Raid or Die, which is why some people are a bit put off by the planned nerf to PvP gear.
  8. Which is awful because we don't want WoW Raiders. Those entitled little buttholes are the reason the arena in WoW hasn't been balanced in ages.
  9. Will we be able to remove hilts from PvP/Raid weapons in 1.2?
  10. Oh come on... Look, the "Sent is hard lolz u gotz b gud l2p" attitude is dumb. Someone equally as good with any other class will outperform you with less effort. You have to be so far better than an equally geared opponent to have a chance at beating them (the Kuroda effect for fellow SF3 players). If we're gonna tell anecdotal stories, I manage to /lol and /spit on probably the best battlemaster sentinel on our server before killing him 1v1 on my Powertech. I'm in mostly cent with some champion (rng bags ftw?). The class is underpowered in PvP.
  11. Mace Windu certainly wasn't the only jedi to use a purple crystal. He's just the only one you know about. Perhaps you should go spend some time studying. There's this little fella named Revan. Yeah, he's pretty important.
  12. Dude you're talking about PvE, that automatically makes YOU a carebear.
  13. There were a lot of armor skins that appeared in earlier builds and beta versions that didn't make it into the game, such as Jedi robes with armor bits and more. Can we expect to see these or new armors in the game again?
