  1. I think it is a good idea because it allows "brackets" more easily. Single-Server pops aren't high enough to allow bracketing unless you want 20 hour pop times on WZ's. If they want to make brackets they NEED cross-server que's.
  2. I've gotten stunned with a full resolve bar before. It faded really quickly but the resolve bar depletes really quickly and I got stunned by another player 2 seconds later.
  3. Yeah, Void Star is really random. I thought that maybe they sometimes don't count as wins unless you officially make it to the last terminal. Last night we won without making it to the last terminal and it still gave me credit for the win and thus ruled out my thoughts about how it was bugged.
  4. I'm getting tired of everyone saying Sage/Sorc are impossible to kill. A good player (one that uses Int's and Stuns) can kill a Sage/Sorc really quickly. As a healer, I can 1v1 a DPS Sorc without needing to cast a heal if I get the drop on him because using Stun + Int at the right times makes it so they can't DPS much at all. I can also say that I still get killed in 3 hits by some people even with my bubble active. Burst damage is WAY TOO high. I'm sorry but I think a fight should last longer then 6 seconds.
  5. I don't think 10% really hurts the PvE game all that much. I think it is universal that classes are doing higher DPS then BioWare wants them to be doing and the 10% is a way to pop in a global fix till they figure out something else.
  6. I've seen some really bad players in BM gear but they are still godly because of the gear. Gear should be obtained from being skillful but that just isn't how it actually ends up working out.
  7. I thought that as well but I think they decided to go this route based on player response/outrage. If they find that it is the multiplier that was causing the problem they will likely change those classes back but they aren't going to do that unless they are 100% sure it was related to the multipliers.
  8. LOL I was thinking something similar to that...
  9. Certain classes Crit way too often and Crit for way too much. Instead of just nerfing the class into oblivion BioWare has decided to re-balance SURGE ratings. According to the newest patch notes... "Surge rating has been re-balanced. It now reaches diminishing returns the same way as other damage ratings, and its per point damage contribution has been reduced by approximately 10%." This may not fix the problems we are seeing but I think it is a interesting first step that will help tone down some of the insane burst damage that we are seeing certain classes pumping out (a 20% reduction may be necessary). I'm sure people will complain about this but I hope everyone will stop and think for a minute. BioWare can nerf SURGE ratings across the board or they can issue hardcore nerfs to individual classes. I think we can all agree that nerfing SURGE ratings is a more logical first step... WZ Win Fix "Fixed an issue causing players to not receive Warzone Win mission credit upon winning a Warzone match when the first player to enter the zone leaves the zone before the match concludes." I'm sure we can all agree that this is a much needed fix. I don't think any of us realized that the wins weren't counting because the initial player was leaving the WZ. I've won 4 or 5 matches in a day where none of them counted... Thanks for finally fixing this BioWare!
  10. I just feel bad... I had no idea what was going on and I feel bad for all the other people like me who participate in this exploit without even actually meaning to. When you have a bug that is so severe that it frequently causes "accidental" exploiting... It is Game-Breaking.
  11. BioWare is patching Illum on Thursday so people can start getting valor from kills again but I still haven't seen any statements from BioWare about the massive WZ exploit that causes balance issues. I didn't know about it until a few days ago when my new 50 friend was leading our Premade and while me and my teammates waited at the fleet he was running around trying to finish his storyline so he could unlock some of the dailies. Every few hours we got a strange "second WZ invite" and I had no idea what it was. The next morning I decided to Google it and that's when I learned what it was so I had to go back and tell the entire guild to stop traveling anywhere while attempting to PvP. Does anyone think BioWare will fix this WZ bug? From what I read, this bug has existed since the game launched and BioWare has made no efforts to fix it. There could be thousands of players accidentally using this exploit each day... Doesn't that deserve high priority from the bug team? EDIT: BioWare "encourages" people to utilize this exploit in one of their "loading screen" tops.
  12. Sawbones is pretty awesome at PvP healing. If you're expecting to have your Sawbones heal as well as a Sage you should re-roll Sage. Tropper gets heavy armor to offset slightly lower healing. Scoundrel get HoT's and a decent large heal and have the ability to vanish from combat to avoid death. Sage only has heals. Sage is the only healing class that relies 100% on healing as they have no armor and no stealth abilities. I made a Scoundrel for fun PvP healing and a Sage for PvE/PvP.
  13. Counting all the mats I have lost... I'm probably down 1.5 to 3 million credits (assuming I had just sold the mats or sold some of the items that got crits during crafting). Factor in the misses you get while trying to get crits on Purples and I'll be down about 10 million credits by the end of this week seeing as though Mandalorion Iron sells for around 15-20k per bar on a lot of servers.
  14. I do EVERYTHING. Armor Item Mods Droid Parts Earpieces Cybertech has a lot of great options but right now, after 2 weeks of crafting and RE'ing hundreds of blues a week I only have 3 level 49 purple mods. It just isn't worth it!
  15. Don't admire my patience... I run a website mostly so I logged into the game every 2 hours to RE and re-set the crafting when needed but I wasn't actually playing during that whole time. I did some PvP here and there but most of the crafting was done while I was offline.
  16. Making 200+ pf something to get the purple kinda means you have to sell 20 or so to even break even for the mats you lost trying to get the newer recipe
  17. I was talking craft time with 5 companions crafting 5 items constantly. I waited till I already had enough mats for over 200 items in hopes that I could bust out the purps with a solid week of crafting. I had no idea I was going to have to craft so many of "1" item just to get 1 purple. My plan to horde materials before crafting the items was obviously flawed. With all 5 companions crafting I can craft 25 blues every 1 hour and 40 minutes (slightly under or over with high affection) as they take 19 to 23 minutes per blue. So let's round up and say it takes 2 full hours per 25 earpieces (it doesn't actually take that long). That's 8 hours per 100... That's 32 hours for 400... It's easy to get 32 hours of crafting done in 1 week since you can still have companions crafting stuff when you are offline. I do PvP 99.9% of the time I am playing so it's easy to have 5 companions working like slaves since I don't need one for PvE.
  18. I'm not sure what the deal is but my Smuggler got Purp Schematics off of every 10 to 20 blues but my Jedi on another server isn't getting blue or purple procs very often at all. I've been working on the level 49 earpieces lately and 1 of them took 104 RE's to get a purple and then the one I finally got yesterday took 413 RE's over a one-week period to finally get "one" purple and it ended up being a bonus stat that I don't even need. This is just absolutely insane and proves just how random this whole "luck" system really is. I have higher odds of winning the Powerball then I do of getting a Purple Schematic lately and winning the Powerball is actually useful were as my level 49 earpieces get replaced in 2 days because they are total crap compared to the level 50 raid or PvP ones. I'm all for taking the time to craft but when you have to start doing 100+ RE's to get level 49 items you're looking at 5 to 7 days worth of mission/crafting times. At this rate it'll be about 6 years for me to get all of my level 49 items to proc Purple Schematics. Note: My buddy was crafting level 49 bracers for me and he got 3 Purples from RE'ing 42 Blues.
  19. 1) Unless you tell them that you're guarding them there is no way to know exactly who it is that is gaurding you because the icon doesn't list a specific name. 2) I run with a tank that dies a lot because he guards me and I frequently don't heal him. I don't heal him and I don't heal myself either. I generally focus on healing DPS and then the tank and then myself. My friend has probably died 2,000+ times because he is guarding me and he has never complained at all because he knows I am still doing my job and he is still earning lots of medals from guarding me. Tanks get more medals from just using GUARD then healers do for healing.
  20. Sage can't stealth... Shadows can stealth... Sage Can't. Do you play a Shadow or a Sage? I'm guessing Shadow.
  21. Not all healing classes should heal the same. Sorc/Sage should always be top healing becaise powerful healing is their biggest defence. If a Scoundrel gets in trouble they can "Escape" and run away but a Sage can't. Trooper has heavy armor to offset slightly lower healing and the heavy armor makes them much more tolerent to damage. The most fragile class should be the "top dog" so to speak and Sage/Sorc are by far the squishiest of the healing classes. If everyone expects all healing classes to heal identically they need to go play a different game. If BioWare wants to give Sage heavy armor and stealth abilities I wouldn't mind seeing Trooper and Scoundrel get better healing.
  22. Sorc lightning triggers instantly and has to travel to target... This causes a .1 to .2 second delay depending on the distance. Sage has to "summon" a projectile from the ground, raise it up and then throw it at the enemy and depending on distance, Sage rock throwing can have a .3 to .7ish impact delay. So yes... The delay still exists and it is a VERY BIG delay.
  23. I get thrown around by Sorc all the time without seeing their character make any type of movement at all. In 1,000+ WZ's on several characters (and on diff servers) I have never seen a Sorc jump up into the air. I also don't recall ever seeing my Sorc jump into the air either but he is only level 12. When I play my Sorc and trigger the AoE he stands perfectly still and a charged burst of lightning blasts out of him... The blast throws enemies away...
  24. My drivers are up to date and I have no FPS issues in WZ's. I often laugh when I read posts about people having trouble with "super computers" because my computer is a piece of crud and as long as I turn graphics down it still runs the game beautifully.
  25. Sorc don't jump up in the air... They stand still and lightning throws people away from them. The animation is totally different and 1v1 the Sorc lands his before the Sage can land theirs.
