  1. As I am nearing max stats without any Rakata gear, I was looking for ways to tweak my gear to gain stats in key areas. The 2 main trade off is Cunning vs. Crit. With my current gear set up I have 40.28% Crit with the smuggler buff up. Crit Multiplier is 75.80%. I know that diminishing returns starts to set in on Crit 35%+. Does this account for buffs or just base stats without buffs? Are there diminishing returns with Cunning? If not, I am in a position where I could swap around a few things and gain 28 cunning but lose 40 crit. To do so would cost me around 300k - thoughts on if it is worth it? My guild is nearing HM Raids next week, so that gear will be around the corner as well.
  2. ^^ exactly Everyone knows this which is causing problems for scoundrel healers to get groups for end game. I and many others have guild spots already and this is not a problem. For those who have smaller guilds and need to PuG, this a big problem. If harder content is released in future patches, then we may all hit the ceiling and have troubles with getting groups. Regardless if we are in a raid guild or not.

  5. This is the main reason I created this post. You can already see this happening in the current game state. Groups turning down any healer but sage for end game raiding. Sure, Scoundrel can do it...that is not the issue. The issue is Sage can do it better and easier, creating a meta-game for everyone to just prefer Sage for top tier raids/PvP. As the game progresses and harder operations are released, will the ceiling be hit for scoundrel? I think so, unless some sort of tweaks have been made to even the playing field with other healers. Posts made about utility, dps, mobility, etc. are good and all but the fact is if you spec 100% sawbones you should be able to compete with the other healing classes.

  7. I downloaded the patch yesterday, read through the class updates and saw nothing for sawbones. I enjoy healing PvE for end game as Sawbones as is, but as many have stated...you have to work a hell of a lot more at it to be as effective as sage. This is not a QQ, but was kind of disappointed to see a ton of class updates for Shadow and then 1 update to smuggler, that does not even affect scoundrel.
  8. Armstech - RE'ing the green level 50 Fusion-X blaster does not learn the blue schematic. I have crafted over 60 without unlocking the blue. I unlocked the blue schematic for the others within 15 RE's or less.

  10. +1 this thread I have RE'd 60+ level 50 scatter guns with no blue unlocked.

  12. lol @ guilds posting on forums about world first clears.... congratz on the clear and all but...do you require spot light / attention for every accomplishment in a video game? no one cares...seriously.
  13. same thing happened to me last night. we killed the world boss, i was the raid leader and selected master looter thinking i was being fair. in the end i have to ask people to pick 1-100 and then when i give something to my guild member i look like a scum bag. never will be using that again in a pug raid!
  14. so basically, open world pvp is just zerg vs zerg? meaning that any 1 skilled FG cannot branch away from the zerg and fair well? Basically, i am looking for any possibility of RVR like in DAOC (no 3rd faction obviously). no speed buff or longer CC means you cannot escape the zerg....once you are engaged that is it? also, sorry for being ignorant but....the cap for the area is 30vs30 only?
