  1. legacy lv 42, if that says anything. some FP i´m ok with. but others are just extreeme. in teral five your barely kill anything exept a bit in the last bunker. I know lots of people just run FP for loot.(BHcoms) and skipping mobs is a fast way to get your coms. I just think it´s a poor design. Dont make it so you can skip allmost all trash. Teral five is by far the "worst". We skipped alot of trash in WoW too, but the way instances were designed you had to kill like half the trash anyways. you killed the group in 1 side of the room and left the mobs in the other side. Not like in swtor where you can pass between two groups.
  2. TBH class stories are useless if your a roleplayer. All troopers cant be leaders of havoc squad, and all jedi knights cant have killed the emperor. It´s a bit of a flaw in the game for roleplayers.
  3. Ok, so you dont agree with me. I´m ok with that. I still wish BW had made an effort to make longer OP´s instead of shorter FP. 30-45min is ok for a FP imo. The problem with that is compared to the rewards you get from an OP the FP should take like 15min. max.. So i agree the rewards make it ok that FP are short. It´s probably about the right ratio where time spend is concerned. So while you dont agree, i still think FP are too short. Not compared to current OP´s. But then i think OP´s are way to short.
  4. a mechanic. Would be a class with lots of probes and stuff. Exploding and shooting probes, oil slicks that could be set on fire and turrets maybe. could even have a medic probe.
  5. Spacemissions were fun, sort of, the first times you did them. The problem is they are the same every time you do them. Also, the spacemissions are solo games. I´d prefer more MMO content. Same with classquests. It´s solo content. I´d love more classquests, but i feel the time it takes to make classcontent for all classes compared to making something all classes can do, like a nice FP or OP or just a questchain, just isn´t worth it. The reason Blizzard stopped making classquest in WoW(there was a few in classic) was just that. it takes so much time to make class specific quests it will hurt the game content as a whole. I liked my classquests but i understand why it was held to an absolute minimum.
  6. those armorings and mods from daily quests are from belsavis btw.(if your rep anyways) If you run them with 3 friends of the same class you can be ready for hc in a day, at least if the rest of your armor is relatively up to date. Get hilt/barrel from daily vendor on belsavis, ilum or Black hole. Save the rest for implants instead of armorings imo. GTN it´s cheap to get decent implants, ofc not the black hole implants but columi implants are faily cheap, and the crafted lv 49 implants usually goes for less than 50k (at least on my server) relics, get your pvp relics, you cant get much better. as tank i would run the FP normal before i try them hard mode. You probably have tanked D7 on your way to 50, at least i did a couple of times, so that could be a good place to start your hc adventures. Only boss i find a bit tricky is the bonus boss, but noone ever kills him on hc.
  7. while i agree that reserving loot is poor taste, at least be honest about it. if you tell the pug up front that certain items are reserved then i dont see the big problem. Then the pug can decide if he want to join on those terms or not. But telling after the pug have won a roll that, "sorry, that item is reserved" that´s just plain stupid. No need to be a jerk to the pug who might have wanted to find another group if he had known the lootrules beforehand.
  8. the only thing of those listet i would object to, is macro´s. The rest i dont see why not. class specialisation i dont know. We do get a warning when we choose that it´s final. But it realy wouldn´t affect gameplay. Dual spec, dont affect gameplay. No weapon restriction wont affect gameplay. As long as the suggested change wont affect gameplay i dont see why it wouldn´t be worth considering.
  9. 40% would still play if it was free(someone else paying their subs). NOT 40% would still play if it was F2P I´m sure some of those who left the game will check in and see if the lag is less and the bugs are fewer. But lately the lagg is just getting worse. And bugs, well, maybe some get fixed, but it seems new bugs are created every time one is fixed.... Well, maybe not but new bugs seem to be added on many patchdays.
  10. 1 time only quests gives players less time played than repeatable content. And when it´s classquests it gives 1 of 4/8 classes more content instead of all classes. This i feel is one of the reasons swtor is missing content. Would i have preferred swtor without classquests ?? Well. maybe. If no classquests ment there would have been pazak and podrace and moistfarming and nerfherding and sitting on chairs in bars and drinking and eating and chatbupples and i´m sure you can add a few more. then maybe i would. Ofc noone will prefer swtor without classquests if you put nothing instead of it.
  11. and the heavy fokus on classquests makes a new quest only available to a quarter of the players. If only more classquests had been in some daily form, a random 1 of 5-10 different daily´s each day. Content that´s only done 1 time, and on top of that only by 1 class is realy costly in terms of development.
  12. i just think that the amount of work required to make classquests compared to normal quests makes the strong class stories a dualedged sword. Yes the class story is the strong point of swtor, but it is imo also the weak point.
  13. i like the story and class quests. But giving the time it takes to make 1 quest for each class is 4 times as long as it would take to just make 1 quest for all classes it might end up as the weak point of this game. I think the game would have been stronger with shorter classquestline while leveling. add more normal quests to compensate. Then add some daily classquests to open when you complete chapter 3. Lets face it, when class story ends the game miss something.
  14. If open spacegame is just more solomissions then i´d prefer to just skip it and work on more mmo content. Even if it´s just chairs and food and drinks and minigames.
  15. i like class story, but i wonder if that might be the weak point of swtor. An example. In some contentpatch we get a nice classquestline worth 30-60min game play that ends up in a small FP where you fight agains some trash and end up fighting a boss. That has to be done for all classes. Instead we could have gotten 4 non class questlines = 4 times as much gameplay. Or if only 1 quest line then some daily quests too and maybe even a bit of fluff. That just made me think maybe class story is the weak point of swtor. Maybe it´s a strong point too, but it clearly have it´s weaknesses. So, What would you prefer, 1 classquestline worth 30-60 min, or 4 questlines each worth 30-60 min ?
  16. adding a few craftet items would be ok. but bossloot and commendation gear should remain bop.
  17. No, just no. While it might be nice for my new alt to get full columi when he dinged lv50 i just dont think it´s realistic, or even "fair" Maybe fair isn´t the right word, i earned the gear so why wouldn´t it be fair, but it just feels wrong to get end or close to end gear that easy. i would support legacyarmor to increase in lv as your alt would lv. Like heirloom in WoW. I just think bind on legacy on endgame gear is wrong.
  18. for every classquest made they could make 4 daily quests. Now i like my classquests at least 4 times as much as daily quests, but you can only run classquests 1 time, then it´s over. I would like some class daily´s instead maybe. and more little things like sitting on chairs (sitting on the floor looks silly) and more drinks in cantinas and bars. Ability to get drunk, armwrestlng with someone in the bar. little things you can do to bug your friends, like give them 3 minidroids spinning over their heads, or that anoying flashlight from kaon.
  19. i wish wz were 100% not gear dependant. everyone would get just their basic stats + a fixed amount and that´s it. It would be alot easier to balance pvp and it would all come down to skill when gear is taken out of the equasion. Why pvp if there´s no reward then ? you might ask. For fun. It would be more fun to beat a worthy enemy than someone clearly undergeared. for titles maybe or mounts or pets or adaptive gear or some other fluff. Bottom line is pvp should not be about gear. It should be about beating the opposite faction. And for me it feels much sweeter to beat someone on my lv than some clearly underpowered newly dinged lv 50.
  20. at least you can use the comendations for gear and sell it when your companons dont need it anymore. the crystals just sit there and cant be used for anything.
  21. I would have loved if BW worked on bringing our current compagnons "back to life" Could be done with adding daily quests for compagnon. 2 pr compagnon and let 1 random quest pop each day. Also give our wife compagnon a few extra emotes would be nice. Still i agree it´s content if they make a FP f.x. where the droid drops or an epic quest line or something. getting handed a new compagnon isn´t, but the way i read it that was newer the intension.
  22. agree so much. I would love to se more bosses like this. With more than just 1 mechanic you have to watch. tbh the worst boss for me while leveling was in Athiss (i think) the pvp type thing where you fight 4 bosses simultanious. It can be a pain doing if noone is over lv. Especially if the group cant reaply cc. or even worse have no cc. With no cc it´s damn close to impossible.
  23. the most important thing that many people miss the first times your up against that boss is the gunfire he sprays will hit everyone in front of him. even if your far away. So it´s very important to turn him away from other people in your group. The rest of the mechanichs are harder to miss. Adds cant realy be missed and the mines is also quite hard to miss. When all the group knows all the fight then it´s not that hard.
  24. the thing is you have just about 5 times as many tioneese crystals as you have commendations. as a very minimum make it so you can trade crystals for comendations. 5 or 10 crystals pr 1 com. or make it so you can use your extra crystals on med packs or stims or something else.
  25. loading times.. small planets, planets feels more like a city or an area. I would much have preferred a lot fewer but alot bigger planets. no compagnon interaction when compagnon quests are done. this goes especially for your wife i love the classquests, but when you finished the classquests the game feels over. Maybe the classquests should have been alot shorter and then have put in 5 or so daily class questchains. 5 for each class.. One random 1 pops up every day for you to run. As it is now i have no boss anymore. i feel a bit abandoned. stupid little thing, but no sitting on chairs, and no getting drunk in cantinas or bars.
