FFXI was that kind of MMO for me. It had a grind don't get me wrong, but it really felt like i was a part of that world. I felt so connected with my character. I can't go back though, it's too different. I'm enjoying SWTOR, but i do agree i would like a stronger sense of immersion into the world.

Agreed, i believe music helps with the immersion and atmosphere, as well as the eventual nostalgia. Listening to a FFXI soundtrack really helps bring back memories.

Valid points, but i would suggest in the future if you are dissatisfied with a game and wish to express it (Which you have every right to), you should probably take a breather and focus on delivery of your criticism instead of coming off as angry. I mean no offense, just a suggestion.

It doesn't bother me too much. I understand that there are a handful of people on the community whose first language isn't English.

So i got to the part in the Sith Warrior story where Quinn betrays you and shows off the two droids he says he programmed to target your specific weaknesses. After you smack down the droids and smash Quinn against the metal wall with Force Choke you spare him and tell him that he can earn your trust back. I found the [Flirt] option of telling him he could earn your trust back to be incredibly hilarious. When you click [Flirt] it pretty much tells him he has to make up his betrayal via doing the nasty. I'm sorry, but any girl who is willing to get down with a guy that just tried to kill her is crazy (or really desperate) Lol.

I've been around a lot of MMOs and i have seen Guild names where i swear the leader just thought of the coolest words he could think of and put them together like <Reborn Legacy>. Also don't do anything generic like: <Knights of ________> <Legion of _________> <________Of Darkness> Etc. Like people said before you should think of something creative or funny, or something that just feels right for your guild's identity.

Might not be irrational, but i kind of would like continuous background music to be played instead of just for the first couple seconds of zoning into an area. It helps with the immersion a little bit, not game-breaking for me, but it would be a nice addition someday.

Yeah i only ever use Jaesa or Quinn, although i do keep everyone geared. Knowing what you taught me just now about customizing their abilities i thought maybe i could open myself up to a tank lol. Jaesa is so squishy though :|

So for SW, who do you use to tank? Pierce or whatever the snow thing's name is. Brooden i think.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my experience so far. I especially have a positive experience with the people I've met in game so far. The only downside i can think of for me personally is that it just doesn't feel like a long-term MMO for me like FFXI was, but it could change, so i'm sticking with it for now

I have to disagree with my experience being ruined by how other people name their characters. Seems trivial to me. I don't think you should be bothered so much by what other people name their characters. Although i won't lie and say it isn't just a little annoying seeing "XxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSephirothCloudxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxX" On about every MMO i've played. But at the same time i don't think i'd call for a name filter just to keep people from naming their character what they want as long as it's within the obvious rules (No cursing,etc)
