  3. The cheapest one is 5.000 Every toon of mine has one in their cargo hold. Whenever is Rakghoul week I grab it and I'm good.
  4. If they nerf Kolto Waves and buff Surgical Probe I would say we got away with a slap on the wrist. Even in PvE KW is not high priority, nothing like Roaming Mend and Progressive scan are for sorc and merc respectively. I would like such "nerf" very much. But I'm not keeping my hopes up. And when they nerf their DCDs as well merc healers will be back again at the bottom of the pit for PvP. lol

  7. But if you don't track your mission results you won't shake the impression you're not getting what you're supposed to be getting. More than once, like many others, I've had this same impression "wth... this crap broken or what ?" And every time I started tracking the results, with only a few dozens of runs, I saw it was fine and it was only a bad perception of mine.
  8. Who is "most of us" , exactly ? It's not "most of us". Since the LS won the event, it's the other way around. The majority of players participating in the event chose to work to get the Jedi so "most of us" got what they wanted. Having said that, why not ? Companions are so empty that they're merely reskins of the same one. It's like a collection of pets. One more makes no difference.
  9. If someone doesn't like the group composition they got, they all got the choice of leaving the match, that's not only on the "just arrived" player. It's on everybody's And you don't know if you create a good chance for anything. There's also a chance for another healer. Or a chance for a tank (which probably would be worse than another healer). Or a chance for a dps who knows how to switch guard. Just as "bad" as another healer. Or nobody joins and you leave the team in disadvantage. If you don't like the group composition you get and you think it's retarded staying, then you leave and be the smart one.
  10. You can't even change utilities once you're in queue, let alone swap spec inside a WZ. There's no "switch to dps if you see many heals" And why call retarded someone who joins and sticks around when there are already enough healers ? It's not that person's fault that she/he got tossed in a match with healers. And if that person, according to you, deserves to be call retarded for staying, well, the entire team is retarded for the same reason. Yes, matchmaking would be nice, but like you said, population is small so the more restrictions you put in place, the smaller it'll feel. Maybe you don't want to play a match with 3 healers in your team, but perhaps the other 5 do. And perhaps the other 8 in the other team as well. If you feel is retarded playing a match with many healers then you can do the smart thing and leave the match. You'll always have that choice. Without resorting to some sort of matchmaking, something that might help is some form of "preview" of the current queue. How many people are and their specs. Not their names, probably not even their faction. Then someone will have the actual choice play one spec or another.
  11. I couldn't agree more. I kinda feel Operatives got sort of screwed back in 3.0, starting for their "new" ability. Sorcs and mercs got truly powerful abilities, which should be used pretty much on cooldown. Kolto Waves ? meh... It's situational at best, and personally, I feel I'm shooting myself in the foot every time I use it since there's a good chance someone's kolto probe stacks will fall off, not only because of its long channel but also because it requires almost a third of your total energy. The way I see it, operatives biggest strength can totally be overlooked since the other two classes have more than enough for group healing. But you can't ignore its weakness. Like others have mentioned, 5.4 doesn't bode well for operative healing. All 3 classess with the same HPS target ? That could very well mean a bigger nerf than the one sorcs got. I guess I can hope nice things for 6.0 for my operative, lol
  12. I think the bonuses are aditive, always calculated on the base number. So if for example chapter 2 is 1000 cxp (without any kind of boost whatsoever): 100% from vendor fleet booster will add 1000, so 2000 total. 10% from character perk will add 100, so 2100 total 100% from event will add another 1000, so 3100 total I don't recall the other bonuses ("featured" activity on the command rank UI or LS/DS thing) but you get the idea.... I think this is how it works
  13. No thanks. No more ranks and no more tiers of gear. Seriously. I think the nerfs we are getting (and how hard they are ) are in part due to the increase from 242 to 248 we had not so long ago. If we get another tier of gear what happens with this infamous "dps target" , "hps target" ? If those target numbers aren't changed then even bigger nerfs should be done. Or if they do change them then they should also tune again all flashpoints and operations.... Not gonna happen, not before the next expansion imo.
  14. I call it token, probably not a good way. But yes, one those thingies (legacy bound ) that give CXP. It's a purple one so it's the best one a flashpoint can drop. I think it boils down to how much extra time involves unlocking and killing that boss.
  15. Bonus boss is right before the 3 guys, in that big room prior to them. I don't remember its name, but it's one big fugly beast. You need X number of kills to unlock it. If you're not stealthing, you shouldn't be that way off to get it. In the begining there are a lot of weak mobs, easy and fast to kill. And if you don't skip stuff through the tunnel in your way to the first boss, I think you have enough and no need to detour and pull more mobs than you are by simply advancing to objectives. BTW, all bonus bosses in flashptoints drop a legendary cxp token.
  16. Well, the other healers haven't had their nerfs yet. I'd be extremely surprised if they aren't getting nerfed in 5.4, maybe 5.5. Let's wait and see. I haven't healed much with my sorc since the patch but the one thing is driving me nuts is the increased channeling times, specially on Innervate....arrgggh... The higher cost is also noticeable so you have to more careful, which makes the use of Revivification, at least for me, even more scarce since it consumes the stacks I need for force management.
  17. The outcome, yes. But in your own example, one method is cumbersome and time consuming. The other is not. You're not supposed to have the ability of making infinite copies of that item in the 2nd character in such way. That's the problem. If you want that, buy a new item off the GTN, cartel market or pay the unlock.
  18. No difference ? It's like logging in and out 1000 times. A massive difference in convenience and sanity. That's what the account unlock is for. Want that convenience ? Gotta pay for it. Or endure the hard way. That's why I paid the unlocks. I'm not complaining about what they did, but how they did it. They screwed everybody. But don't say there is no difference. There is.
  19. You think wrong. I wasn't even aware of the loophole/exploit/not exploit/ not working as intended/whatever until this "fix" took place in this patch. Neither of my guildies were aware of this either. All the CM crystals I had in my weapons were unlocked (account wide) in collections. Currently, all those coins spent to unlock all those item are a waste because I have no use for those crystals. I really can't be arsed to remove the crystal, look for it again in collections, claim it, put it back in again. Annoying and cumbersome considering how often I move weapons around. So screw CM crystals. I've already changed all my weapons and offhands with crafted crystals. So heck yeah, I am complaining about this. I understand the reason behind it but that doesn't excuse them for doing it poorly like they did it.
  20. nah, I really doubt they even hoped for a second this wouldn't be picked up by players. Probably this change is more widely hated than all the nerfs, lol.
  21. I'm very disappointed. I thought this was going to be the one SH I was actually going to decorate aside from utility stuff like cargo bays and GTN. But very underwhelming, specially the underwater rooms, very small and too much "wall". I was expecting a lot more glass to see the ocean while spending time there. Oh well....
