As many have stated - play whatever you enjoy. But for rated WZ's? Not happening. In rateds you need to guard as a shadow. If you are not guarding then you are easily replaced.

The same one the guy is whining about in the other thread. As for anyone saying inf will out damage it....LOL....you can't dps when you are dead. This goes for WZ's mind you. On Ilum Inf "might" be better but in my experience this is not the case.

Rated WZ's have no progressive component? If so then why bother rating them in the first place? You start at 0 and progress up the ladder. And you think pve isn't competitive? A large part of that "allure" is downing some scripted mob first and being the first to have the gear rewards.

So when do all fresh 50's get free Rakata gear? It's only fair, ya know.

Nice screen shot. Now show us a few of these "normal" 5k crits. Vs low valor targets I am confident that you could hit 5k easily with all of your consumables popped. But vs a BM that just isn't going to happen; at least not on a consistent basis. Also - saying that a certain circumstance is "normal", especially when you are forced to use every consumable available to you in order for it to occur, is a tad misleading. I'm not saying that you are full of it. I'm just saying that I would like to see proof - ideally on several BM's of various classes.

Can an inf kill a healer? Sure. Can an inf be a ball carrier? Hell no. 31/0/10 is a great spec if you do not want to die and pad stats. It has a lot of utility and would probably be your best bet as a fresh 50. As you get gear you can move to a more offensive "tank" spec such as 27/0/14. One thing to note - champ gear and above should be all dps gear. IE. stalker for Reps. Do not use the silly shield generator either.

The event was a great time had by all. Not only did it give us the opportunity to fight people in a relatively controlled environment, without the Ilum lag, but we also were able to mingle with players who would normally be out to kill us. A true community event indeed. Great job Knocko - not only on the vid but in setting this up. Big thanx to all those who came out and participated. Acedia
