Oh no, not really....I've heard it way too much. Many of us, like myself, are still learning this game and MMO's in general. Some things aren't as obvious and the cost of gear/re-spec in this game limits the flexibility in testing builds on your own. (I learned this the hard way after re-specing too much $$.) With that said, I just turned 50 and I'm rolling 12k 117 exp and just started making the real transition to pvp. My valor is up to 46 already as I didn't find questing as fun as pvp and played it more to level up averaging 21k xp per match (had some bad games of course in there too). I do need to change this now and pack more punch and this guide helps. Thanks for posting, it's a good guide. Finally someone whose willing to help.

Let me add to the fact, and I havent read all post's so I'm just replying to the topic, but, the apparel glitch is starting to bug me. Things meshing with the hooded items mostly. My shadow chick is of the blind species (i dont know name right now but liked it when i picked her) and her head dress is merging into my hood and showing through in parts. This hood also doesnt work well with dress/skirt leggings so BW fix this please.

I'm only level 41 (valor 37) but I still pull off 2.9K crits and AoE hits of about 1.5k per player. It's only going to get better.

Yeah reading that devblog irritates me. Sometimes I wonder if BW plays their own game instead of just doing random analysis and running numbers.

Thanks for the post, I like. But yeah stats like, strength/endurance/crit chance all those totals when you bring up your character sheet. Keep up the postings..

Ok guys, I've read enough posts about how to do things and have found little build postings to back it up. So..Post it up Marauders. Full build post, please include. Tree link. Character stats in totals (outside of PVP arena), including all armor/weapons/implants/relics. Yes it's making more sense to me now how this character works. I'm having fun now and just getting started. I've re-spec'd countless times to a point where it is getting a little pricey now, but I'm finally happy with my set up. I'm sure I could do some re-tuning still but the key is generating the rage to supply you with big moves. I've finally found my combo last night. I went 30-1 1st game 25-6, 32-2 in pvp at level 38. The funnier part, local trolls were calling me noob for even pvp'ing at that level. Can't wait till 50.

I'm struggling on most all aspects of tree in pvp and pve with this character. I like the style but have yet to master it and powertechs ranges snares just destroy me to a point where I go a little emo. The things I like from each tree: Annihilation: cool down and range reduction on force charge (not enough crit or damage for my liking.) Carnage: debuff snare (still not enough power but better) Rage: good dps not killer but better (i seem slow, feel like im running more to get to my target and cooldowns take longer) I'll keep working to get better at the art of marauder but I'm losing interest.

Has anyone tried Rage in PVE? Just curious how much more burst you can get. Also how can I compliment my tree with mods/armor/weapons? It seems I am more built in endurance and strength. I want more POWER and DISTRUCTION as any sith of course .

Despite the tree build which I've done carnage and annilation, what should I build through mods/armor/weapons? I've read Willpower and Strength were the way to go but i'm finding that i've geared more towards endurance and strength. I'm struggling in PVE and PVP with my marauder (at lvl 38 now) and notcied how trendy ranged and heavy CC characters are recently. I should be able to destroy people up close but man, I get smacked around. More love needed for my guy please bioware.
