The server population is either increasing or decreasing... So what ? Nothing anyone can do about it..... Not even Bioware, not now. One things for sure though, 'time' will prove each of you on here either right or wrong.

In its defence I find a fried Spam sandwhich is a great hangover sponge, but yes you're right, I wouldn't order it in a restaurant..... (to extend the metaphor sightly).

1.7 million active subs....Whatever anyone's opinions of this game are, good or bad, time will definitely tell. As a trader, my advice would be to 'short' this one for the mid to long term.

AW dood.... I know exactly what you mean... There was a sense of a 'living' world, and genuine peril around every corner.... When i left Qeynos for the first time and ventured to West Karana, i was literally ******** myself. I bottled it and ran back...... !!! HAPPY DAYS... It's just been announced as F2P in March btw .. Might visit again for old times sake.... Or maybe not. Rose tinted etc, so maybe best not to ruin pleasant memories.. Anyway, yeah.... I think the more 'advanced' mmo's of today still have something to learn from those old , less forgiving tropes. thnx for post, c.

They've tried to do too much, too quickly and thereby fumbled a bit... I for one, wouldn't have been too appalled by a lack of spacecraft combat etc in the game, with of course a proviso that it would come at some later stage (ala Galaxies). Thus allowing a more focused , extensive and considered implimentation ....... rather than a half baked one. What is in is actually worse than nothing at all. It's just too jarring not to mention limited.
