    Republic, so all my characters could be Twi'leks. Yes, that was the sole reason.

    Aww that makes me sad. I thought it would be a cute idea for my character to romance my padawan, but I guess it's not to be.

    I wouldn't join either faction. If I had to choose a class it would be smuggler, and I'd be force neutral and chaotic good.

    Someone in my guild is leveling just through PvP and space missions, so it is possible. I'm sure it takes a lot longer than PvE though, but if that's your thing go for it.
