It's quite possible, and not that startlingly unlikely as you seem to think it is to open 100 bags and get 2 rewards. Indeed with a million or so players I would EXPECT it...just like I would expect that there are people who have gotten 50 or more from 100 bags. The vast majority of course will cluster around 25%...you know the "bell shaped curve"... you happen to be wayyy out at the unlucky end but that DOESN'T mean that its not a 25% chance. That said I dislike random in MMOGs...like REing...one person gets it for a single RE...someone else may RE 100 and get nothing.

So ONE day you don't sell anything and the economy is "ruined" ? Sheesh. I both buy and sell mats on the GTN and sometimes its just NUTS...if I can send 2 companions on gathering missions and get for 2000c what you are charging 50,000c for why would I buy them from the GTN ? If I can run around somewhere for 20 min and gather for FREE what you want 50,000c for again why would I buy ?

I was wondering how an Imp class did a republic FP myself, I doubt Esseles is soloable at lvl 11 unless maybe you went nuts crafting lvl 11 purples but I could be wrong. I am also wondering if the droid is killable...the one you need 2 people to click the panels.

On the Black Talon FP when Grand whatever Kilren is talking via holo one of the choices my BH had was something like "boy your ugly"...well when I picked it and won she said something like "Is there something wrong with the holocommunicator or does your face really look like that" All I could think was "mannn hes gonna find me and kill me for that" hehe.

I ended up on a west coast server (although I live on the eastern seabord) because most of my gaming friends were on Vrook Lamarr server. If your willing to have the higher ping (and mine runs around 80-100ms...not bad at all) Vrook lamarr has a pretty evenly split population. ((RP-PvE server))

#1 issue ? Seriously ? I would rather they spend time on bugs, exploits, UI customization, new content, engine upgrades and class balance.

At least he doesnt break the CC and yes its annoying but on the other hand when you finish off the others hes standing by the forcelifted mob and attacks as soon as you break the CC

I do a rough estimate of what the item cost me to make (usually just the "mission" materials. The mats I can just gather are free...the cost of learning the schematic I usually ignore because I craft for myself and my friends...I learn blue and purple schematics for US) look at what the market is doing and price my items. Alot of times I sell for WAY less...and I am still making quite alot. Bottom line I charge what I want. Honestly the shortage of crafted gear is more because its alot easier to make credits other ways than crafting. I craft as much to help people (like crafting blue/purple techblades because its sooo hard to find weapons for Qyezon) as to make credits.

In general I love the voice acting...but yeah I want to toss C2-N2 out the airlock on a "mission" to find out if the sun is hot.

This thread is awesome...either this is a much better than average troll thread...or someone is insane enough to think they can make everyone use the terminology that they have decided is "right". I am going to start calling "DPS" characters "PCWPFIIDOO" "Player Characters Whose Primary Function Is Inflicting Damage On Others" and I want everyone else to use it NO EXCEPTIONS!

Runs quite well on the older of my 2 PCs ((Win XP Pro, Core 2 duo 2.66 ghz (2 core) 3 gb ram, ATI 4850 1 gb graphics)) this machine is just over 5 years old although the graphics card is only maybe 2 yrs old and it has a fresh install of windows.

I work from 4 pm to midnight (U.S. EST) so I get home at maybe 1 am and play quite often in the very early morning (or late night ) like 2 or 3 am and guess what ? Yeah thats when they take the servers down. They have to go down sometime and its going to annoy someone, get over it.

Well I am having fun. A few minor annoyances but nothing major. I played EQ2 for like 6 years and theres stuff that has been broken the whole time and never fixed. Welcome to MMOs. I do hope Bioware/EA tracks down and bans the major exploiters and gets that cash out of circulation.

A big chunk of my guild from EQ2 has moved to SWTOR and we are enjoying the heck out of it.

You don't speak for me or anyone BUT yourself. I think the game will be a success by following a different path and not "WoW in space". I am so tired of the amazing arrogance I see here "Do what I say or you will fail" what an ego you have ! The game is fun and its DIFFERENT ! I know thats a tough concept for you but try and grasp it. Don't need chat bubbles, don't need parsers, don't need threat meters...dont need 90% of what you think is manditory to avoid total falure.

Just so you know its possible, one of the machines I have the game on is 5 years old...with a 3 year old (ish) graphics card ((Win XP, Core Two duo 2.66 ghz (2 core), 3 gb ram, ATI 4850 1 gb graphics)). This machine I have shadows off, bloom off, grass down to 20% everything else med or high and 4x AA forced through catalyst and I get 25fps ish in crowded areas and almost always 60fps (synced to my refresh) everywhere else (at 1080x1920). Even running through a Flashpoint with some friends I was still getting 40ish fps in serious fights. That machine does have a fresh install of windows so its pretty clean and fast (for its age)

Having a great time...when its 2 am and your thinking "I have GOT to go to bed...right after this mission" you know your hooked. I have played Asherons Call, DAOC, SWG (pre NGE) EQ2...and this is the most fun I have had in years.

Agree we need an xp switch or slider. Would love to have some control over my leveling speed.

I am having a great time, been playing EQ2 for the last 5 years and this is a breath of fresh air. Only thing I really want is a way to turn off/turn down xp so I can enjoy the journey. As for the FPS issue I wish I knew the answer but I have the game on 2 computers...one new(ish) Win 7 and the other an aging old gaming machine 5 years old with a 2 or 3 year old graphics card ((Win XP 32 bit Core 2 duo 2.66ghz (2 core) 3 gb ram, ati 4850 1 gb)) and it runs fine...between 25 and 75 fps at 1920x1080 with a mix of low and med settings and 4xAA forced through Catalyst. I find the game to be remarkably bug free for a new release and most of all...its hella fun to play. I like the lack of loading/zoning, really helps with immersion when you just run through the green "forcefield" and right into your instance with no pause.
