  1. Really enjoying it, its the most stable, least buggy MMO game I have played since the days of UO In fact I would go as far to say it has for ME been the smoothest MMO launch ever
  2. You didn't play Vanilla WoW did you? That post you made near enough quotes what WoW didn't have at release at all and more. You have to understand that developing and releasing an MMO takes considerable time, you can't take too long or people get bored waiting or your game engine goes out of date. An MMO unlike any other genre is something you INVEST in, you don't just buy it, play it, and then expect it to be perfect. You buy it, play it and enjoy the updates, changes and regular new content that comes with that investment. If you expect everything upon release then you are playing the wrong genre, and need to move back to single player games, not one MMO release in the past decade released with everything you have quoted. And I guarantee they won't in the future, I guarantee Guild Wars 2 won't... You are entitled to your opinion, but stop having expectations which I way above the capabilities of any developing team in this day and age.
  3. My god how the MMO community has changed since UO days....
  4. Is OP playing a different game, its smooth as glass on my rig
  5. Is a DPS sage viable, as I am concerned its not a realistic possibility as I believe there will be a majority of healing sages at endgame
  6. Could you supply your Computer specs and this might be better placed in the Customer Service forum
  7. Really I mean really..did someone have to make this thread for the 1000th time
  8. I queued for over a month every day for nearly 4-5hrs everyday...how is that a good launch?!?!
  9. Been around since the MUD days and I will go on record saying this is the smoothest MMO launch to date
  10. If everyone got in people would cry about queues and lag Poor Bioware are damned if they do, and damned if they don't For someone who entered the first wave on the first day, its been a smooth beautiful entry to the game Learn to pre-order early next time?
  11. Played alot last night, and I have to say I don't get any of the texture loading anymore if I alt tab out of the game or it shifts to a cinematic. I have all the graphics up full, and except for AA I feel the textures especially the environmental ones are much more detailed and appear smoother when turning or moving in the world. The whole thing feels so polished and refined its a beautiful thing to see in an MMO which historically are riddled with so many game breaking bugs or annoying problems. I have yet to encounter any fortunately, thats not to say there aren't any, just I haven't met any yet and I am lvl 11 now:cool:
  12. Got in the first wave of invites Put in my code on July 22nd 2011, the day the pre-order code was announced, ordered off of origin Hope that helps
  13. I have been stuck at work since learning that I got in on the first wave, total torture
  14. Thanks for the settings advice, good to know I can make the game look even better!
  15. The screenshots and promotional movies of SWTOR all look amazing so those textures and AA must be somewhere, maybe they are fine tweaking the client/engine for their use before releasing them
  16. I am sure this has all been planned, if there are queues etc it would be no different than the large MMO releases that preceeded it:cool:
